Was able to fall asleep (and sleep in) the last two nights in a row. Lounged in bed this morn watching the telly. Awesome past two days off. A physical therapist friend is headed over and going to reward me with a nice long foot rub tonight. Assuaging the "pain" from getting stood up earlier (not feeling bad actually). LOL
Tomorrow I sleep in hopefully, see the chiro for a massage at 1:00 pm, work out then who knows what tomorrow night. Probably just stay in and chill.
I'm so appreciating the R & R lately...

Ran around til 7pm last night and didn't workout darn. I worked today and will tomorrow til 7pm, fitness center closes at 6 on weekends so I'm going to have to figure out something to do here. I can workout at the gym after work on Monday (after 2pm) but work 10 hours again on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hi ladies! I've been busy doing some online dating lately! LOL
Met a few frogs, but met an interesting man last night, he's 62, an artist, photographer, educated, political activist, interesting, and really sweet! Been doing a lot of dining out so I have not been adherent to low carb of late. I also haven't worked out since the 18th. Bad dog! Continuing to spend quality time with family. Work with my life coach is continuing as well. On the spectrum of diet/exercise versus relationships...the focus has been on relationships.
Tonight I'm meeting a low carb friend Karen (lost 130 pounds) for dinner with her biker lady friends...then we are seeing a documentary at a cinema nearby; Why We Ride....about the people who ride motorcycles...Karen and her husband ride Harleys and she belongs to a female riding group. Seems like such a fun lifestyle. My last two bf, both had bikes. I'd love to have a bike, but I am so accident prone...better that I don't! Scary stuff!
Tomorrow I have a date with a 53 y/o I met a couple of weeks ago. We are going to do a dinner/move. I'll probably help dad wrap presents in the afternoon...

Your life always sounds so interesting, sweet Dream. A dear friend of mine, married for many, many years to a wonderful man quite a bit older than she, was widowed a few years back. She's in her mid-sixties and a busy, beautiful woman happy in her life but increasingly lonely. She yearned for companionship and wasn't meeting anyone suitable so, encouraged by a friend, she tried the online route. After a few lackluster experiences she eventually met a wonderful, attractive and kind man and has been happily dating him for about a year. I hope your luck will be equally good as far as the dating goes. The 62 year old certainly does sound fascinating. And enjoy your date with the young guy (the 53 year old). The women bikers sound kind of amazing and the film intriguing. I've only been on a Harley once in my life. I was in my twenties and a young man, a friend of mine who I think was kind of strutting around using the cycle as an emblem of his masculinity, took me for a ride on his Harley. I was terrified, absolutely terrified, the entire time...not of course, because I'm a coward or anything, rather because I'm such a fragile flower of femininity with delicate sensibilities.

Have fun in all your new adventures, sweet lady, and do update us on any exciting (and mundane) developments.

Cancelled the date tonight, opted to spend more time with my dad, shopping, wrapping, putting up the tree and decorating. Treasured this time with him.
Ladies, I need to get serious about my eating.
Weighed 153 at 10 or 11am (no food no drink).
I normally weigh around 7.30 in the a of the m.
Holy cow, I don't wanna know what it would have registered in the morn.
If I keep this up I'll be as big as a house by the new year.
Just sayin'
Work 10 hours tomorrow at Mrs. T's and 10 hours Sunday.
20 hours in the the environment of her home made brownies galore.
LOL

Detoxing from carbs and very crabby today. Spent the day with Dad, helping him get his Christmas tied up. Got some family pictures from him, going to make home made ornaments with the grandkids pictures. Will keep me occupied for a while...

Got my third workout in on Friday, eating was less clean friday and saturday (went out Friday night, family dinner Saturday at Applebees where I had fried shrimp and broccoli instead of fries. Had a wonderful visit with family on Saturday. Relishing these rare times...

Happy Holidays everyone! It's been crazy hectic. Still weigh 149ish.
Work today until 7pm but my client is letting me leave an hour early to pick up my dad to go to my Aunts party. Then I head to my brothers to print out some snap shots photos so I can make family ornaments. Slept from 1:00am to 5:00am this morn and am totally exhausted....up tomorrow morning to cook at my dads.
Can't wait until Thursday so I can collapse! LOL

Ran around today trying to get things done before the next 4 days I work (including 10 hours on New Years Eve). Had a the third or fourth date with a gentleman I met online that lives 5 minutes from me. He's 62, seems wealthy, well read, well traveled, gorgeous condo in the central west end. But after tonight I realized he's not the one for me. He bought tickets last week to the Beggar's Carnivale on New Years Eve. Video & Press | The Beggars Carnivale
I'll go, it's supposed to be a blast. I'll go because it seems to mean a lot to him. I, on the other hand have spent new years eve asleep by midnight..lol
Anyway, because I'm working I'm meeting him there. He intends to stay until it closes at 3:00am. I'll leave shortly after midnight. Then that will be it....for us.
Had a fabulous workout this afternoon. For the first time in a long time, didn't have to force myself. Weighed about what I weight before Christmas this morn. But expect to be up for my weigh in tomorrow after imbibing tonight, wings and sweet potato fries! Yum. It could have been worse...

I just looked at the website for the beggars carnivale....it's really wild and the general admission tickets are $69.00 each! Omigod. I'm going to look like a prude!
I would rather be in bed with a good book. I don't like being out on New Year's Eve. Can't even remember the last time. I'm usually asleep.
What possessed me?
I figured if it was $20.00/ticket I could beg off and repay for the ticket.
Now I'm going.

Saw Wolf of Wall Street! DiCaprio's performance was outstanding. There is one scene where he is "rolling" out of a country club trying to get into his car (that scene alone is Oscar worthy). What I noticed was the way Scorese shot the scene, in part distorted..at times Leo's character's body appeared to be an infant/toddler struggling to stand up/walk. I think it reflects upon Leo's regression as his character. God I miss my film appreciation class from 1991. This film make me realized how much I miss that class.

Anyway, food was good today: 2 lc whey shakes, some mac nuts and an omelet after the movie.
I'm making low carb meatballs to take for lunch/dinner at work tomorrow.

Exhaustion is settling in my shoulders like heavy bricks. Need to get my meatballs ripe with cooking so I can dive into the covers and say "ahhhhhh"

It was sooo cold tonight, but I weathered the weather all the way to the gym. 149 this morn

Inner thigh machine/outer thigh: 80 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Outer Thigh machine: 80 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Leg Extension: 35 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Seated leg curl: 40 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Shoulder press: 30 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Lateral raise: 20 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Rear Delt Pec Fly: 20 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Chest press: 30 pounds, 6 sets of 8 (two hand positions)
Mid chest: (20 pounds) 3 sets of 8
one more chest machine: 25 pounds 3 sets of 8
Lat pulldown: 40 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Manual Chin up machine: 10 pounds, 1 sets of 8
