Weighed 148.5 this morn. Getting one last apartment painted, a furnace fixed and then I'll be done with maintenance stuff til April 1st.
A friend that has been struggling texted today: To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes something from your grasp hes not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on on this sentence. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you, Something good will happen to you today. Something that your have been waiting to hear. Please do not break. Just 27 words; God our father walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses and please watch over and heal my family in Jesus name Amen.

Trying to alternate high carb days and low carb days. Ideally they should be low fat, but I'm not about to give up my yummy fat. Yesterday I did a P3 meal of nuked apple, cinnamon, mac oil, whey shake, and mac nuts. Pre dinner was lots of merlot, went to Fridays and had their sizzling chicken and shrimp and broccoli...and onion soup...I accidentally ate the big ass crouton thinking it was cheese....Whoopsie.
Today I waited to 3pm to eat. Starving at Sam's so I sucked off the top of a big ass slice of pizza, dinner was some rot chicken and finished an EAS low carb shake. It's 8pm now and I'm hungry, I'll probably have some rot chicken with mashed cauli and call it a night. Only slept 3 hours last night and the stress hormones are dictating my hunger today...naw, it can't be the wine! LOL The scale tomorrow will dictate whether it'll be a higher or lower carb day. Suggested Hardees to Meet J for the first time. I can sloppily eat my messy low carb burger for lunch and stick to plan. If my dining habits don't deter him, he may be a keeper!  Today I'm grateful for my discipline...I woke up and wanted to eat everything in sight....but I drank water and my sugar free home made lemonade instead. Extremely sad day. My friend Bob just called, his 54 y/o son Marty just died (cancer 8 years). It's really tragic. Marty's son (Bob's grandson) died in a motorcycle accident when he was just 17. I can't imagine the pain he must be going through. Bob's ex wife gambled away all his retirement money ($400,000) and he endured the mega stress of that divorce last summer. He still hasn't recovered from that.

The wake is Friday and the funeral is Saturday....
Met J for lunch today, we decided to go to see the Iron Lady with Meryl Streep. It's her best performance yet. He really likes me, he said he wanted to give me a first kiss, I expected a peck and he stuck his tongue in my throat. Yuk! LOL Made a first date with M on Friday night then realized it's the wake, will have to change that. Had wings and beer tonight. What's amazing is that lately when I've had alcohol I've stuck to low carb. Always in the past I'd get a little loose and head straight for the sugar and junk food. It's progress I guess. Was 148 again this morn. Seeing the woman in black with my gf Mary tomorrow. I have to admit I was starving in the show today and came close to grabbing some popcorn. Started taking this liver cleanse today...it may be messin' with my blood sugar levels. I have a free coupon for this laser lipo procedure, where they beam this laser on your body part for 20 minutes at a time and it's supposed to melt some fat in your fat cells. Youre supposed to do a liver cleanse 7 days before procedure. I'll have to reschedule because I'm supposed to have it done next Monday. Won't have enough liver cleanses under my belt. Gosh, sweetie!!! Did I need to read this post! Thanks for these words. They are so beautiful and encouraging!!! Just like you sweet friend. So sorry to hear of your friend's pain and tragedy. I will pray for him.  Hash looks awesome!!! And btw, you have less tendonitis cuz your insulin is being controlled through your diet! It helps inflammation! Yay!!!!

Spent the evening at the funeral home. Got home and wanted some comfort food. Made some cauliflower pancakes with flax meal, egg, onion, konriko jalepeno spice and sea salt. They were ugly, but yum good!

Quick drive-by, good date on Saturday night, went to Golden Corral with family on Sunday and ate too much! Up a couple pounds of water (hopefully). Going out for mexican tonight, then back on vlc tomorrow. My car will be ready to pick up tomorrow, need to vacuum ashes in the rental.
