Exercise: weight machines, 130 callanetics abs.

Maybe worked out twice in the past 5 or 6 months.
It was time to get back, since the accident in may.
New Tenant really pissed me off this afternoon.
Instead of turning it inward I got my behind to the gym and literally "lifted" my anger with the weight machines.
I'm going to have to set some boundaries with this new annoying tenant.
Induction food the past two days. Going to make some flaxmeal bread for tomorrow.

Feels so good to be able to work out again.
Had to skip the leg extension and flexion machines for my knees are worse than ever..but was able to do all the other machines I used to do (with much lighter weights)

Was going to list the machines, but don't remember the names of half of them, will have to write down next time....

No, was counting on it. I've called the staffing agency all week but today. Seems I didn't get it but it would have been polite to let me know. I gave up that part time job training because the staffing agency was so sure that they were going to use me. the universe must have something else in mind for me. LOL

Well not quite, now he has all sorts of dating opportunities he didn't on his old shift. After our trip to Mexico on my birthday (sept 27th) it will be a free for all I'm sure. We came back as friends, then it morphed into something else....by october I'm sure well be back in friends territory again.

Food: been eating more carbs to heal, no gluten or sugar

Was laid up really sick for about a week and a half. I rarely get sick, but the headcold, fever moved into my chest thing was killer. On a positive front it slammed killed my appetite. LOL
Saturday Dave finally got a gas tank for his small old boat. After work around 5, we arrived at George Winter Lake in the county. Pulled out around 7.30. I stepped out on the boat ramp (which was steep), slipped on the slime and slammed my head, knee and ankle into the concrete slope. He said later "thats why I got out on the other side of the boat".....well thanks dude for letting me know. Badly bruised and swollen immediately afterward. Will post a pic. Had a thought of my ex B that night, even though he was nuts, he would have made sure he took my hand and helped me out of the boat....made me reflect about more examples in my "relationship" with Dave over the weekend.
Anyway, I won't be looking pretty for Mexico in a couple of weeks. My body loves to hold onto bruising for at least a month....will post a pic.
I did work out Sunday, but by yesterday everything hurt, my arm, both knees, foot...weird how the soreness was delayed a day. Now I'm worried about being able to do much walking in Mexico. Was trying to get in shape for the trip...but I've reinflamed my plantar fasciitus. Guess Dave can go on excursions by himself. I'll be sipping Margaritas on the beach. LOL
Was done with the chiro, but with the bad headaches from this fall, I made an appointment to go today and Friday. Neck feels worse than after the car accident.
Plan to go do some weight machines later today, I've been doing so well, don't want this to stop me now...



Cropped out my hair in above pic. It's amazing how gray I am. I usually just highlight....darn, that's not going to be enough anymore....I'm an "old" lady now...will turn 56 on the plane on our journey to Mexico.

Worked out woohoo! Excited I could do all the leg machines! Need to up my routine to 3 times this week. i did sunday, tuesday, work the next two. will do Friday...then sunday
Was going to take a dip in my brothers pool, but don't wanna fight rush hour and by the time I'd get there I'd be the main course for the skeeters!

It's weird, this bruise on my upper thigh didn't show up til 4 days ago. it was only a slight spot after the accident.



Manual dip I did 20 pounds not 10.

Hey girls, we reconnected last night. It's all good, we are going to Mexico next Friday, barring hurricanes...but he is still sick. The fever came back a couple of days ago. He refuses to go to the doctor. That man is soooo stubborn.
Worked the past two days. It'll be good to have tomorrow off to re-center with low carb again. I caved to Mrs. T's home made brownies last Thursday and been carbing mostly ever since.
I have 5 days off before I have to go back to work and hopefully will not be tempted by her home made goodies. LOL
Will work out tomorrow, going to try to intermittent fast.... try to hold out until around 3. We will see. Fighting head pain all day. Haven't slept much since hitting my head on the concrete. It bothers me to sleep on either side. Hopefully I'll get more tonight...need some rest.

Sat by the fitness center pool and read a bit.

Had a flat on the way to jc penney to use a gift card.
waited over an hour for road side assistance.
At first thought I bent the wheel itself, but the tire changer guy doesn't think so.
Hope that's true, if not, it'll cost closer to $300.00 instead of one.

Yes, $102.00 for the tire. I asked Dobbs Auto and Tire to check the alignment (they said the check is free). I walked across the street to target to kill time.
They called me and said that they did an alignment?
Say what?
It seemed shady. When I got back I said I wouldn't pay the $79.00 for the alignment since they didn't get it okayed by me in the first place. It probably didn't even need one....they were probably trying to get one over on the old lady with the black eye. Forget that!

Yay you! Hate when they try to pull crap on women! Bad attitude towards women lost our business at the local Ford dealer. Hubby took his $ to a dealer that talks to me with respect! They will get my business over and over.

Is the eye healing any? Probably looking worse before it looks better. Normal

Worked out yesterday again! Yes!!! Back to 3 times a week. It's been months and months since I've been on this regime. I"m hoping the resort has some sort of weight machine.
Eye/cheek is much better. Will take a pic in the morning. No longer having headaches when my blood pressure goes up. LOL
Worked 10 hours today. My man was more disoriented and grumpy. Mrs. T says he's been that way for days. His 60 y/o daugher (who is a nurse) stopped by and gave him a shower. He was belligerent and wouldn't let anyone do it the past few days.
Have a doctor appt tomorrow, then I will work out, finish packing. Want to get most things done tomorrow because I work Thursday and won't get home til 8pm. Need to be up by 4.30 to head to the airport on Friday. Whew.
Made the mistake of getting a Brazilian wax yesterday (very cheap groupon). Very red and irritated yet today. And itchy where she didn't pull all the hair out. It's sharp. Ouch. So far not too comfortable walking with thighs and stuff touching. Sorry TMI. Had to put an ice pack on it tonight. Using aloe vera. Hopefully tomorrow it will be better. I promise not to post a pic along with my cheek. Hxll, I would get "fired" from here fer sure!

Got back from vacation Tuesday night around 11pm. Long long flight. Dreams was an awesome resort in Puerto Adventura. Broke my toe the second day there, you know me..always with the physical drama. LOL
When I left I weighed 146.6 and this morn weighed 148.8. Not bad for all the alcohol I imbibed. I waited til the last night and next day to indulge in gluten...so I think that was a factor in not totally blowing up like a balloon
they told us it rained 3 weeks straight there before we arrive. We lucked out, got a bit of rain in the afternoon on day three...but still frolicked in the sea
