Weight: 143.8 Sleep: 6.0 Mood: pretty good, stressed in afternoon Afformations:almost an hour Exercise: Weight machines at St. Louis Workout, 10 minutes on recumbent bike fat burn mode. See how my knees do tomorrowToday was much better hunger wise. No cravings for chocolate. Maybe I'm having TOM sans the hemoglobin. Played hooky from school yesterday. Only slept 3 hours the night before felt like I was getting sick (woke with a cold sore on Monday).
Wednesday Halloweenie!!! Weight: 142 Sleep: 3 or 4 Afformations: 30 minutes Check engine light came on while driving to my job counselor. The D for drive started flashing on the dash. Called honda they said it was my drive train and to come in. I've been hearing gear rattling periodically when slowly driving uphill for about a year and a half. Didn't really think much about it. Stopped by a transmission place and they did the free preliminary diagnostic. Something is wrong with my second gear. They said I didn't need to rush it into the dealer (90.00 bucks for their complete diagnosis). Strangely, the check engine light didn't come back on. I'll take it by honda next Tuesday when I'm in the neighborhood after job couselor. Thank god the drive train has a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty. Thursday November 1, 2012 weight: 141.8 Sleep: 7 (the most since starting school) afformations: 20 minutes Exercise: weight machines at St. Louis Workout, and 10 minutes again on the recombinant bike. woohoo Going to do a couple of chapters of homework on Saturday then Michael and I are going to see the new Denzel Washington movie out this weekend. Looks really good!

Weight: 142.8 Sleep: 4 Mood: exhausted, hungry Afformations: 25 minutes Exercise: will do callanectics abs We did urinalysis in lab today. I was in moderate ketosis. Can't believe it! I've been carbing up at least twice a week. No wonder I've been able to stay below 145. My body doesn't do well in it. I've been real impatient and grumpy. Will have to work on getting a few more carbs each day I guess. Totally exhausted today, going to be a soak in a hot bath, and be a couch potato tonight.... |

THE MOVIE WAS FANTASTIC! Just when you don't think Denzel can get any better!!!! I want to see the bond movie this coming weekend. It's lookin' good too. Slept only about 4 hours last night. Had an interview for a part time job this afternoon. I really liked the owner (they rent formal wear - family owned) and he really liked me, but I don't think I'll be a good "fit" lol The position is for his store in the rich part of town. I don't have the clothes or the hair to pull it off. Been hiding my scraggly hair under hats lately. It was good practice anyway... Last edited by Izzysdream; 11-05-2012 at 03:40 PM.. |

I love Denzel, but I'm so out of the loop, I don't even know which movie you guys are talking about!
I know I need to take my Vit D pills on a regular basis again. I have been slacking majorly, and I bet it will help with the SAD too. How is school going? |

Weight: 143.5 Sleep: another 4ish night like last night Mood: tired and tending to "bark" at people in traffic, well, maybe a few yips. Afformations: 45 minutes Exercise: weight machines at St. Louis Workout. Woohoo I'm 4 days overdue! I've been having a slight rattling noise when I slowly accelerate up a hill (have an 09 honda fit sport), it's been going on since 35,000 miles. I now have almost 51,000 miles. Last week my engine light went on and the drive light started flashing. Honda said it was the drive train. Stopped by a transmission place close to my job counselor meeting. Am I repeating myself? So tired, can't remember. They said something was up with 2nd gear but it wasn't a rush. Stopped by Honda yesterday after my meeting. A gal drove with me and it started to make the noise but stopped. The manual says that I need to change transmission fluid at 60,000 miles. She said they weren't having transmission problems with the fit, but she would note in the computer my issues. My drive train warranty expires in about 9,000 miles. I looked online and others are having this problem, they said you need to change the transmission fluid at 30,000 not 60,000. But they seemed to catch it before I did at 51,000 miles. Wonder if I'd started some long term damage to my transmission. I've always had a manual transmission in the past this is my first experience with automatic. Think I'll print the complaints out and show them to her next Tuesday. I'll also ask why we weren't notified that this was a problem and does my warranty get extended 30,000 miles for the time I've gone over for the fluid change according to Honda Fit "Users" Anyway another headache I didn't really want have on my mind. Have a quiz tomorrow and test on Friday, I usually study for both on Wednesday night. Wish me luck on about 4 hours of sleep last night and tonight. The school is getting a visit from a government agency next week. The instructor told the class not to complain to them about the school (it was directed at me because they found out about my complaints) but to tell her first of any changes she could make in her teaching. I tried to ask when I first started if she could email the handouts on Friday for the next week, but that didn't work..... I'm over it. But they are sweatin' a bit. ![]() |

Weight: 143.4 Sleep: 6 Mood: the Idon'tcareblahs Afformations: 50 minutes I'm usually gung ho for the labs at school. We were doing butterfly blood draws and regular. I could care less. Finally did a blood draw, but it was unsuccessful. I've checked my urine the past couple of days and I have trace protein in it. That has me a bit worried. Maybe I should go to the clinic and get a blood test for my kidney function? I dunno. The mayo clinic says it's normal to have small amounts, especially if you exercise hard or are young (me the neithers). I really need to cut down on drinking diet 7-up. I drink tons of it. Today we were told we can't eat lunch at our desks (the lunch room has a small table and two chairs (9 students), I can't leave my sweater hanging on my chair when I'm not there. We have one young student Josh, who is type I diabetic. He had to leave the room to eat his snacks, was upset and left class early. A few of us were in funky moods today. Must be in the stars right now. Anyway the president supposedly looked in our room last night and made up some new rules for us. All show for the "audit" next week I'm sure. Need to kick this funk in the behind, huh? Last edited by Izzysdream; 11-08-2012 at 05:03 PM.. |

Hello my lovely ladies!!!
I didn't get my recharge over the weekend. Slept 4 hours Friday night and 3.5 on Saturday. Was Zombie mama on Sunday never strip teased out of my jammies. Luckily I got some sleep Sunday night for school yesterday. Weight was 145.2 this morn. Been grazing and out of ketosis. Doing some emotional eating. Need to confront Michael about something and I'm making myself neurotic over it. Needed to really get it off my chest tonight, but didn't want to call him at work (second shift) so I chickened out and emailed him a few minutes ago. Hoping he'll still want to be friends, I just cannot do more than that. Sorry. School is getting ready for the government audit on Thursday. Remember that work study receptionist job they promised me when I started but never materialized? Ha, they offered it to me this afternoon and are insisting I start tomorrow, one day before their dreaded audit. Now their claims about having the program will be true! I'll work 2.5 hours after class Monday thru Friday at 10.00 bucks an hour, thats about a 100 a week. Woohoo!!! Will all this sleep deprivation and stress of school etc I haven't been able to do the IF-ing. That way (IF) I was able to stay down closer to 141-142. My goal is 145 which I'm tipping a bit right now. Wanted to not go over 144. Need to reign in my eating and come up with a plan for being at school all day now. What I really need is REST for my weary mind and body!!!! ![]() OH I finally worked out tonight at the fitness center: weigh machines and did the recumbent bike for 15 minutes! WooHoooie. I've been too exhausted to go there glad I forced the fitness issue. ![]() Last edited by Izzysdream; 11-13-2012 at 07:01 PM.. |

Izzy - so glad they made good on the job they had offered! Sorry about the stress with Michael. If it isn't meant to be, you certainly can't force it on yourself. Hopefully being friends will work too!

Weight: 145.4 Sleep: 7.5 Mood: really good Afformations:30 minutes Got rest the last two nights. Haven't heard back from Michael and that is fine. Typed up some procedures for class this afternoon. Getting paid for more on the job learning! Woohoo. I was wrong about the audit, it was today. We had to fill out forms to evaulate the school, I gave them an okay. Now that I'm working there I'm hoping I can make useful suggestions to the teacher ( I think I mentioned written procedures when I first got there). I volunteered on Monday to do vitals on athletic students at Riverview Gardens High School. I met another medical assistant student from Vatterote College. Their program is 13 months (versus our 13 weeks), she'd been there 10 weeks and didn't know how to take a pulse yet. She said she'll be $23,000 in debt when she graduates. Dr. Goldberg put it in perspective. We will all be qualified for entry level jobs making 10 - 12.00 an hour to start and heck I won't have any debt. I'll be helping him find health fairs in the metroeast area that he's going to try to get us on as volunteers taking vitals, cholesterol tests etc... It's amazing what sleep and a lil bit of money can do for one's attitude! LOL I'm eating lunch at 12.30, a snack when I leave school at 4.00 and dinner around 6pm. Seemed to work today. Still full. Going to get in a nice hot bath and study my medical terminology flash cards.....ahhhhh relaxing..... ![]() Last edited by Izzysdream; 11-14-2012 at 06:40 PM.. |
