CeeCee- Yes tonight I will put that costume on and take a Wonder Woman picture!

Well a new journal, I have been on here almost 15 months, what a life changing 15 months it has been, being over 350 pounds at one time, you think you can never lose weight and find any level of self acceptance and happiness, but you can do it!!! Now this has made me even more determined to reach my goals and work on maintaining this weight loss for the rest of my life, I was thinking about things I want to do yet and things to be accomplished, so I will share some of those things with you. You guys that have supported me all this time know the story, but there are always newbies looking for advice, and support, so have to be ready to help them too!

What losing a person has taught me:

1. No one can do this but yourself- We can blame bad heredity, people, life, situations, but ultimately our decisions of what we put in our own mouth and how we choose to move our bodies comes down to us, we can make the changes necessary or not, its up to you.

2. You gotta move- can you lose weight without exercise? Of course you can, but it is going to be easier to keep it off and easier to move and easier to look better with some exercise going on, and its a great stress reliever!

3. You gotta drink water- a lot of water, water is what flushes the nasty fat out of our bodies, it is the number one vehicle for fat removal! Drink water!

4. Get support- surround yourself with people who support you and love you unconditionally and want to help you! I could have never done this without Tony loving me the way he does, and the way he tries to support me even when he ticks me off! And you know you guys here at LCF are really what kept me going!

5. You don't realize how shut off from the world and life you are when hiding under layers of fat, the world will open up to you and you will change, losing a tremendous amount of weight is life changing!

6. Make whatever diet you choose to follow a life style change, don't say it is diet, like something for a short time, resolve to change you and your relationship with food. I know I will never go back to eating the shear amount of junk that passed my lips just because it was a free, or it was there, or everyone else was eating it, or it was just so good.

7. Write down your goals, all of them and print them out and read them daily!!! Read and re-read why you want this weight loss!!!

8. Fitting into smaller sized clothing is the best feeling in the world!!!!

9. Make increasing your level of fitness a goal, never in a million years did I think I could ever run, I would have bet I had a better chance of winning the lottery than running a mile, but you can do whatever you want if you want it bad enough!

10. Pay it forward, whatever talent you posses that might helps others, help them!!!

11. Reveal in your successes!!!!

So I have been hovering at about the same weight up and down (+-5 ) for the last 3 months, partly due to too much partying on the weekends, it has been a crazy time with the wedding, b-days, celebrations, etc. But I need to see some virgin weight loss:

My goals are the following:

1. I would really like to get to 175 before surgery!

2. I want to be able to run a 5K without stopping, and do a race!

3. I would be happy to end up a size 10.

4. I really, REALLY need to battle this smoking problem, and end it once and for all!

5. I really want to work on decreasing body fat and increasing my muscle definition. through working out.

6. I want to do a zipline adventure!

7. I want to go back and swim with the dolphin and ride his dorsal fin now that i wont kill a freaking 1000 pound mammal with my shear size!

8. I want to be able to go to the pool/beach and not feel like a freak with my nasty skin flopping and being so self conscious.

9. I want to continue to amaze my son, when he says how proud of me he is, or is impressed by stuff I can do exercise wise, that means a lot to me!

10. I want to help others!

So I am starting back on this ketogenic diet today to see if that moves things along,c an I work out harder, absolutely somehow I have to find a way to do more exercise wise.

So here is the show, I never ever thought that past 40 years of age I would be able to do this, so it can be done!

Here are some of my favorite pics along the way!!!!

P.S. I also want to add that I'm impressed with the way you have to courage to try new approaches when your plan stops working. The older I get, the more I see that you kind of have to keep shaking things up to get the female body to let go of weight. Mother nature designed us to hang onto every last bit--we are survivors, haha!

Yes I am all about trying to shake things up, our bodies get really used to what we do to it, whether it is the diet or exercise, that is why it is so important to shake it up when needed, I think I am in one of those shut down phases, so hopefully another change will get some more off!!!

I want anyone who sees this to know they can do it, I lay it all out there, so if it helps one person that is a success!!!

Eyedoc- thanks for stopping by now send some of that running mojo my way!! Running is the biggest challenge for me that is why I keep pushing myself with it, usually the stuff we resist the most makes us the strongest!!! One of these days I am going to able to do the whole 5K and run one!

Amber- Great pics!!! Yes you are the most inspiring person on LCF in my book!!! I love all of your dedication. It has certainly rubbed off on me.

Also, you said that you are like a 12/14 now right?? Well, at my smallest I was a 6/8 and I weighed 168-170 at my lowest. And that was still with the little skin on the pouch area that I have. So I think you will be MUCH smaller than a 10 based on my sizing. We look like we are made up the same and around the same height. You are gonna rock this thang baby!!!

But you got youth on your side, LOL!!! I really dont care about the size, as much as I want the skin removed, and what ever I am dealt with I will accept, but the skin gotta go it is just gross and disgusting, that I think is the biggest contributor to me not being happy with myself!

Oh wow Amber, every picture tells a story don't it?!?! You have really come a long way baby!! And it is amazing what a lifestyle change/mental outlook change in really what is a relatively short period of time. Your determination and sheer will to do what you have done is freaking amazing!

Me too on wanting to do the Zip Line, there is a really nice one up here in the White Mountains where you zip line through the trees at a ski resort. The weight max is 250 so for a long while I was so bumming that I couldn't do it after body weight and clothing, but heck now it would be a walk in the park!

Wishing you the best of success in your next 25 lbs loss/milestone!

Oh girls exciting night, well I had my trainer session I survived on the 30 carbs eaten exactly 2 hours before and a shot of superpump for energy no dizziness so that was good!!!

So came home and then went to look at the house on the golf course, well it is a mess it needs work, but if we can swing it and we are willing to spend the time and money it is a really good investment it is huge, beautiful large lot so now thinking, no one showed at the Open House, bummer!!

So the package from Verbqueen came today, OMG I cant thank you enough, you made my night!!! I will be passing these on to Glam for sure, the 14's no mas!!!!!

She had 2 size 12 pants, I have been debating about trying on 12's cause I thought no way can they fit, well they do, OK a little tight, but they are freaking 12's do I care? Heck no!!! I honestly cant even remember ever wearing a 12 in my life I had to be like 12 maybe?

So here is the full fashion show, sparkly butt and all!!!!

These are the NYDJ in 14 they are nice jeans I will be getting these after surgery in maybe an 8 or 10!!!!!! They really fit nice!!!!! Thank you! Glam will look wonderful in them!!!

A freaking 12 are you ready??????????????

A little tight but no spanx I had my VS underwear on from the gym and they have no control!!!! I wanted to try with no control!! LOL

Another freaking size 12,

Tony was loving these, I had to keep him focused on the pics at hand, LOL

These were 14 Heritage jeans

So wonder woman made an appearance tonight!!

i know CHINTZY WIG AND I didnt have time to put a lot of effort into this tonight, but wonder woman will be getting better and making appearances as we go and as she slims down further, LOL This is the size large crappy Halloween costume!!!

Bobby and Tony are totally freaked with me having dark hair so what if Wonder Woman wanted to know if blondes have more fun????????????????

So she had to take a prisoner....................Capt America was a bad boy, so he had to be tied up!!!

So we had a fun night, LOL

Verbqueen thank you, man those 12's made my night, and I am 5 pounds heavier then before Vegas and I couldn't wear my Old Navy 14's when we left for the trip, go figure what a little exercise will do!!!!!

It all looks fantastic on you! I had a few more pairs to send, but I couldn't cram them into the flat rate box, so maybe santa will leave another box of pants on your doorstep in a few days! I have another pair or two of the heritage jeans. Those are from Talbots and I paid something like $80 for them and hardly wore them, so I'm so thrilled to see someone get to use them!

Girl--the Old Navy Sweetheart jeans are really SEXY on your boo-tay! Dang, they look great! Those were worn exactly one time, so they are brand new! And the good news is that Old Navy often puts them on sale for about $15-20, so watch the ads!

So glad you like and can wear! Made my day to see your "model shots"! Enjoy!

Verbqueen- I am sending you a thank you anyway I am going to throw in the money for the postage, I could tell that these jeans were hardly worn they were all like brand new! I cant thank you enough!! I just noticed that Capt America's fly is down, that is from the jeans, LOL He came running up to hump me and pulled his fly down, LOL

Too funny about the Heritage jeans being from Talbots, that is where Tony's ex works, I swore I would never wear anything from Talbots, and they didn't have plus sizes for a long time, OMG you better believe I will be wearing them when we go pick up his daughter, she was so appalled when we started dating............she told everyone Tony is dating a fat chick that weighs like 250, Hahahaha little did she know I weighed 325, LOL Tony's daughter must keep talking to her Mom about me losing weight cause she says stuff to Tony, she has not seen me at all, so you better believe I will be wearing the Old Navy jeans with my VS bra the next time we pick her up, LOL She is like 5'1 and a size 2, LOL I am sure she loves that Tony married the fat chick!!!! LOL Revenge is sweet, like my ex saw me at Nan's party and someone came up and said I was watching Bob watch you he is looking at you with his jaw open, LOL Those are the best compliments!
