Good thing her frend was ot the one behind the wheel! Please keep us posted
going Hang in there, $on! It takes at least 6 weeks for the body to heal from most injuries & major surgery is DEFINITELY an injury! Still no yeast infection is a BIG plus! Guess the kefir is doing it's job! ![]() |

Yes FIL is in intensive care, they said he will come out of it, I feel bad for Tony's Mom, and I iwsh they were closer, we really hate that they are tucked away up there when all their kids are down here, but that's another story! Very scary and I am worrying about him!
I drove yesterday not far, realized I could not walk through the grocery store, I thought I was standing upright but I guess I am not cause my back was killing me,but got my nails done and stayed upright all day! We watched movies last night so then I had a chance to relax. Bobby is sick as a dog so I am taking him to the doctors this morning, and praying I dont get this cough he has! Well now have to get ready quickly!!! Have a good Saturday!!!

Amber, I'm glad you're feeling better! I am also hoping you don't get Bobby's cough - that would be BAD. I'll keep Tony's Mom's BF in my thoughts - that's scary stuff.

Oh girls I have not been on here cause I feel like ****, I am like so sick of this surgery and feeling bad, I cant stop bawling, I must have broke down like 6 times yesterday, it is beautiful I cant do a thing, every step hurts I am so sick of feeling this way I said to Tony I would take my fat blubbery stomach back to just wake up and feel normal! I am hoping maybe it is the drain and I feel better when that comes out the site is getting so sore I cant get comfortable, I am so over this, I am not a wuss but sick of being in pain every step I take, the swelling the numbness I am just over it! I am praying tomorrow something good happens at the doc I am afraid I wont get the drain out it is still putting out over 70 cc yesterday so I am not hopeful about that, I tried to walk around the block I was worn out, then I swelled so bad from moving, one thing to help causes another problem! I hate coming on here and just complaining, I dont know how I am going to work on Wednesday, but I think tomorrow will the turning point if the drain comes out. Bobby is sick as a dog, he is coughing so hard he has so much snot he is puking, I feel bad for him, but I am trying so hard not to catch it so i am spraying lysol like a mad woman!
IAM- I broke a jar of kefir, thank goodness it wast the one with the grains, I couldnt bend down to clean it up, so that mess was here for tony, he has been so wonderful I feel so bad he is doing everything, the kids, me the laundry the shopping, I feel useless and guilty putting all this on him. I am just not in a good place, I try so hard to be positive but it just all caught up with me yesterday! |

Yes, feeling normal is near. Those drains are a pain in the tookus! Is the movement and swelling irritating them? It would be so hard just relaxing, but it is what you need. So much going on inside. Wonder woman workouts under your skin. Let it happen. You will soon be sprinting around Amber style again. Hugs!
Poor Bobbie! Healing prayers for him too. Are you taking zinc? |

![]() ![]() Big hugs Hun. Tomorrow will be a better day. Recovery is so difficult emotionally. I went through a very similar up and down period after my heart attack. I went back to work earlier than I should have because I thought that would help me get my mind right, but it was a mistake looking back. So rest, take car of yourself, and if you need to cry, cry!! It's all a part of the process. M |

Yeah Meg I know you are right about work, I thought I was going to go back tomorrow and now I see there is no freaking way and once I go back there is no turning back so if I use all my time, I use it!! I still dont feel any better and I am not going to try to hide it, I had another terrible day, tried to go for a walk and ended up with burning pain and tears it was terrible, I guess I am just suppose to lay on my butt and do nothing!

No way in heck can you go back this early. You will just be miserable if you try, and you are having enough to deal with at home. Give it time and, yes just lay around on your fanny! You have been doing the job of several women, now's the time for you to just sit!
Hoping the doc has some good news for ya! |

Bejewelme/Amber: I just found this thread as someone directed me here from the skin removal thread and I was asking about you.
I'm so sorry your are having a hard time. I, too, think if you can get those dang drains out, you'll feel so much better! Thinking of you! |

Praying things get easier tomorrow. I know it's hard being forced to do nothing. Is there a tv show you would be interested in? When my MIL was laid up for a few weeks, she watched a few shows she never had the time to follow. I think it was Gilmore Girls & Grey's Anatomy. I bet you could stream just about anything online. |

Gentle
Sweetie! Call me when you feel like a chat! Even if you DONT feel like one.... Wonder Woman is seeing her humanity side and none of us super heroines like that side of us! That is why we took on our super personnas! Let me try to convey to you- YOU ARE RIGHT ON TRACK! Feeling "so done with this thing" at this point is SO NORMAL. Feeling helpless and a burden IS part of ALLOWING others you have been taking care of for years RECeiVE A BLESSING in giving back to you! I know it doesn't make sense right now, but it is all in the plan too make better people out of others around you ~ also, they will have a better realization & thankfulness for all the little things you have ALWAYS taken care of that were often taken for grantid. (You will also have a new appreciation for them) Kinda lousy for us! Because we are caretakers & it is hard to be the one taken care of! Trust me if you can...I know from 1st hand experience! IT STINKS TO BE ON THE RECeiVING END OF ANYTHING! However, years from now you will use this experience in a way you can't see right now. As for work! Use all your time! That is why it is there!!! No better time to use it!! IF YOU DON't TAKE CARE OF YOU NOW ~ YOU WON'T BE IN GOOD HEALTH TO TAKE CARE OF OTHERS LATER! Amber, no one can do what you are doing right now. What you say???? Healing your body!!!! & NOONE can do that but YOU!!! Wonder Woman can't do it, Amber is the ONLY one that can accomplish the challenge of this experience!! Yes, the surgery WAS NECESSARY! You have kept a multitude of skin infections from happening! You didn't have this done for vanity reasons but for health heasons! I know people that didn't have excess skin removed that have suffered for years upon years with painful disabling infections & you didn't want that for your life. Sure looking good in your little blue bekini will be great HOWEVER having freed your body from future infections IS WORTH the struggle right now. ![]() Last edited by iamfaithful; 03-19-2012 at 04:36 AM.. |
