Hi everyone!
So far, good day...I ate a good induction menu and I took a 1 mile walk when I got home. I am going to get these cravings under control! I am off to Virginia tomorrow, I will stay low carb. I am determined!!
Drinking lots of water (and some crystal light!!)

We are all reinducting I see!!!!!!!!! We can do this ladies. TOM is knocking at my door too which explains the snickers mini I had yesterday and ALL the sugar cravings.

I am enjoying my time at home! We had a fun weekend. I had a slip up. Hot sun plus cold beer is too tempting! I didn't lose at all. I am giving JUDDD a whirl. DD today. 2 weel induction period for me is 467 DD and 2362 UD...I will get as close to these parameters as possible. I will have to take a mile walk today so I can get a few extra cals! 467 is pretty low...but 567 I think I can totally do!

Go for it hun, I know why do we want to drink when it is so nice out, well better than smoking huh? I went to poker and they were all smoking and I was so grossed out I was like how did I do this and smell this bad for 25 years? Ughgh I so wanted to light up though that is the darn thing you hate it but want it, but each day is getting me further from it!

Amber...I know what you mean about the smoke beign gross and still wanting to light up! It's been almost 2 years and I still feel that way sometimes!
Nikki...JUDDD is an alternate day diet, so you don't have to be LC per se, but I will still try and avoid sugar and if I do have carbs, I will stick to the healthier versions. on a Down Day I have 462 cals and on the up days it is 2300 cals according to the calculator on the web site...I have been reading a lot lately about the concept. it's been getting a lot of press lately, so I figured what the heck i will give it a try.
I must admit that I am pretty sluggy feeling today, having had only about 150 cals so far (a whey protein shake made with the powder, water and a little coffee...). They say that the DD gets easier. I just hope I make it through the day! UGH!!!

Meg, I did well with JUDDD at first. The higher carb level led me into binge behaviors though. Lots of people do fantastic though!

Hi Meg, how is it going?

I can't/don't fast like Tina and Monica. I get a bad headache, and sick if I don't eat. So maybe try to go easy on yourself - just start cutting back on the food on DD, then maybe you can get into fasting. I will never fast - I just don't do well.

Anyway, on DD I do a lot of hot drinks - coffee of course, and sugarfree hot chocolate, and broth. Sometimes I eat a boiled egg for breakfast DD, that with coffee is really filling.

Anna is right, some can fast, others can't. I RARELY am able to fast. I typically have to eat something in the morning. Even if it is small. Meg, I also started with my DD's at 700c and worked my way down! oh and what I eat on DD's are protein based foods.

Meg, when I was JUDDDing, my DDs were about 700. I could not go lower without feeling awful. The weight came right off too. My UDs were about 1600-1700.
All the DD food were protein heavy - no shakes for me. Lots of eggs and lots of cabbage and steakums stir-fry.

Hi everyone!
As you may have read on another thread, JUDDD is not going to work for me at this time...so I am back on low carb...basic simple low carb eating works if I don't cheat! I know this. So here I go.
Menu for today:
Breakfast
3 eggs scrambled in coconut oil
1 oz cheddar cheese
Lunch Bubba burger Grilled with 1 slice american cheese
Salad with italian dressing
Dinner
Not sure yet...I am volunteering at Ronald McDonald house tonight wiht my book club. We are cooking dinner and doing light housekeeping.
We are making pulled pork and all the sides...way too carby a meal for me.
So I will probably eat something like grilled chicken and a salad when I get home.
Or...if I am too beat, I will have hubby order in wings! :P

I think I am just not in a place where I can do the Down Days...I really can't stand being that hungry, and it lead me to WAY overeat...Not JUDDD's fault, mine totally! I just couldn't hack it!
