Never tried juicing due to all the calories but I will be anxious to see how you do! Juicing cant be all that bad, if only for a few days! Glad you will have a rest soon hun, you need to take care of yourself, you have to keep you well!

Amber, I hear you about the calories!...I am going to try and keep it to the lower sugar fruits and veggies as much as I can. Kitty, If I get crunchy, I can eat celery and carrots! Lots of tea and water too...but I am not giving up coffee...I will limit it to 1 in the morning though for the 3 days...The plan says 3-6 days of the smoothies but 3 is the most I think I can commit to!
I am hoping it will help me feel more energy, be less bloated and back on track!
I'll keep you all posted!

well...I weighed this morning...212.6. FEH. But I totally deserve that and more, believe me!
1 day of the smoothie/juicing down. I will admit, I was hungry a few points during the day, but hot tea helps with that a lot! I can't imagine what I would be like if I didn't have the whey protein in the smoothies. If nothing else, this 3 day "fast " will make me appreciate all the good things I can have on plan!
I got the taxes finished. We always owe, so I always wait until the last minute! I also got the house back into some what order...
Now I just need to kick this cold. FEH! I am hoping all the fruits and veggies will kick it to the curb!

Meg- what does FEH mean, I am so bad with these internet abbreviations, LOL

Sounds like the juicing is going OK, I like beets for sweetness in juices, like beetsm kale and spinach, yumm, beets are good for ya, sorry you are still sick, 212 is not bad, you seem to be hung around that weight I think that something is going to have to shock it out of you, maybe this will do it, I know how it is to hover at a weight, freaking A even now the scale wont move, but I am hoping once I shock it with exercise again it will!

Amber...FEH doesn't stand for anything I don't think...It's like yuck or boo or something..
I guess I made it up!
I will have to try beets...I have been using just fruit and the protein powder and water. the fruit is sweet, but fresh fruit can be iffy...today my strawberry and banana was kind of bitter...I figured because the banana was a little less ripe than I prefer, or because I am using Wegmans brand protein powder! I needed it and didn't feel like making another stop. It's not bad actually, and it has only 2 carbs per scoop, so that seems better than some of the other labels I've read with 4 or 6 carbs.
I am cooking a pot roast and it smells so good! On Sunday nights we give my father in law dinner. Sometimes he come here, but usually we just bring it to him. He won't cook for himself and he doesn't eat right, so we do Sunday and Friday, and Andrews Siblings do the other nights...I may eat some meat and veggies for dinner..I know I should just suck it up, but I don't wanna!

Hi everyone!
I did good on the juice, but 3 days was enough! I was really not happy. I felt hungry and tired the whole time. And I didn't lose anything! So not worth it...I am now doing the best protein power menu I can while traveling. I am in San Francisco, so lots of good seafood! I had mussels and a great salad at lunch today. Totally yummy! I did have a piece of sourdough bread too...I couldn't resist! It is a san francisco delicacy! But it was small, so I am not going to get all bent about it...just move onward!
I'll be here until Friday. Next week I will be home all week! I can't wait!

I got to play tourist today! My new pic is me by the golden gate bridge.
I am so glad to be going home tommorow! I get to be home for a week.
I know I sound like a broken record, but it will be a good change to rest and regroup and start over again!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I am home and rested, and ready to get back on track today! I have my plan and I'm ready to go...I'll be drinking lots of green tea and water today! The first day is always the most challenging.
215.5 this morning. Egads! No place to go but down!

Meg-I love San Fran and the osurdough must be eaten like the chowder in the bread bowls, yummy!! I love the pic, I love the drive across the bridge and up to Sausilito and through the Redwoods, San Fran is probably my 2nd favorite US city!

I do think its hard with you on the road all the time, I will look for Wegmans powder, I stick t Beverly Intl but Tony is open for switching it up!

Hi Amber!
The Wegmans powder is not bad...I'll probably try some others, but it's good to know the Wegmans is good...it'll do in a pinch! I am going to try designer and pure protein, and then branch out to online. I am going to place a netrition order some time soon, so I will probably add some to that when I get around to it.
I had a good day today. For dinner I made a recipe I saw on here where you cook up cole slaw mix and add chicken and laughing cow cheese. I also mixed in some teryiaki sauce and garlic powder. It was YUM!!

Thanks Kitty! Yes that is true, it is way easier to get into the routine being home! I've been on plan really well for a few days, and I feel so much better! I'm not going to weigh for a few days. Trying to break the scale trap!

I went to rite aid today to buy vitamins. I take fish oil, D and B-complex daily and they had a sale where you buy $30 worth and get $15 in wellness bucks, so I figured I's go get some. I got my vitamins, and noticed that they had twinlab whey protein for buy one get one free. I got 1 vanilla and 1 chocolate in 1 lb bags. It has 120 cal and 5g carb per scoop, but I also noticed that the scoop size is larger than the wegmans, so I bet it is actually pretty similar. 1G sugar listed on the lable.
I haven't tried it yet, but it will be a good deal if I like it! I used the $15 wellness bucks from the vitamins, so I paid $3.99 for 2 bags, and I got $2 in wellness bucks from that purchase! Go Me!

Meg- yeah on walking, yeah on Rite Aid bargains, LOL That stuff always gets me off when I score a deal, let me know what you think of that!

I hear ya on the scale it is a pisser and best to just focus on what is right and then one day you will be amazed when you step on.

We rented the Movie "War Horse" to watch tonight. I heard it was good. I always like a good Horse movie.
Yes I am a nerd!
Glad you guys love getting deals too! My hubby just rolls his eyes at me and my coupons. Ha Ha!

War Horse was so good! It was not what I expected it to be...It was a story that followed the horse through out the first world war. It was a little violent at parts, but that's war! andrew and I both really liked it...now I just have to get it back to the red box today so I won't get charged another day!
I am working from home today, and then tommorow I go to Toronto for the day. Wednesday I fly to colorado springs for a conference and then fly home Saturday. bleah...
I can tell already that this is going to be a hungry day. Argh!!
MUST STAY ON TRACK!!
I did walk this morning, I was going to try and hit a yoga class today, but alas, my conference call schedule is packed this afternoon...
