My 120 lb adventure

I decided to keep this positive, I am going to lose this 120 and further more I am going to keep the darn weight off, so I have to start out with my head in the game an positive thinking!

Hi all, my name is Lynai, same as username (keeps it simple) and I live in MN.

I have been lurking and getting inspiration (and tips)from all of you for the past few weeks. But I have been HCG lonely, as I am not telling anyone outside a few people that I am doing this method.

I was skeptical when the dietician at my Chiropractors recommended this metod, I had never heard of HCG (yes I live in a bubble). Over the course of a couple weeks I researched as much as I could, the good, bad and ugly. I decided that the good outweighed the ugly by far.

So here I am.

On Sept 7th I weighed 281
I lost a few pounds before making up my mind to do HCG and on my last load day Sept 30ths, on HCG (drops), I weighed 275.
Today October 19th, 249.8!!!

That is 6 pounds on my own in 2 weeks
and a whopping 25.2 pounds on HCG in 20 days!!!!

I am down a total of 31.8 pounds

I have another 90 to go, but I break it down into 30lb increments, so I have 30 more pounds to lose 3 more times

Thank you to all who have been posting, I have been reading and you really are very inspirational.

Hi and welcome!
This is the only diet plan that has ever worked for me, and even though I haven't done so well lately, I'm committing to restart as soon as my new hcg gets here.

I am glad you are seeing such success already!!

That's awesome! Proud of you for losing a few before starting HCG. I think I gained a few before I started - needed things like my one last kiss with Ben & Jerry...

Keep it up! If you're continuing on P2 for a few more weeks, I think you've timed well for a P3 Thanksgiving, which is very doable... I use Thanksgiving as something to look forward to. If you end soon enough, you could be on P4 by then too, which is even better!

But you know yourself and what you can handle... you're on a great track! Keep up the good work!

Thankyou Torister!

IThinkIcan, yes I planned it so that I would be at near the end of P3 on Thanksgiving and my Load Days for round two will be Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!!! Yay!

I know Deb, isn't it great I really like the flexibility of this plan, not even so much for the load days, but if I need to stay in P4 for an extra week to accomodate a vacation no biggie, I can start p2 when I return.
Not that I plan on doing that often, but it is nice to know that is an option without killing the progress or getting off the wagon so to speak. Luckily most my vacation time are spent up in the northern part of my state on our lake place and I can make my own meals!

Lynai, this is a great "diet" plan. This can absolutely be the LAST diet you will ever have to do!! It was difficult for me to stop Round 1 and go thru the 3 weeks of P3 and P4 but well worth it for me to engrain the discipline into my psyche!! I plan for this to be my last diet and I WILL maintain once I get to goal. Good luck to you. It definitely sounds like you have your feet (and head) firmly planted for this journey. Anxious to follow you through your successful rounds to your ultimate success!!!

Well thanks for all the kind words and support, I'm so glad I decided to post here, your all awesome!!!

Today I didn't go down, but I didn't stray from the plan so I'm thinking water retention or the fact that I haven't had a bm in a couple days, I drank some Smooth Move tea, that should hopefully right things for tomorrow

Hope you have a great trip Betty and you and Deb get to meet!

Good news, things finally moved and my weight did too, dropped 2lbs to 247. YAY

My goal is to get under 240 before I have to go on P3, so I have basically 20 days to lose 10 lbs, and be 237. That will put my total weightloss from September to 44 lbs!!!
38 on HCG and 6 on my own prior to that.

I'm so excited

I was down but Onederland is eluding me. The first step on the scale it said 199.5. But I always weigh 3x and take the average. So I weigh 200.0. Maybe tomorrow if I don't stall again! I took smooth move too, have not seen bernice for 2 days. Results were in effect this AM and so I am expecting to see the scale show the difference tomorrow!

Well I was bouncing around 247 for what seemed like forever, 247.8 247.8 247.6, in reality "forever" was only three days, lol

When I was dieting before a plateau was a week or more, here I am so used to seeing the daily drop on the scale even if it only a half a pound or so, that I get concerned over three days...oh well.

Today I saw some movement, brought me down to 246.6

I did not eat an apple yesterday and had only one grissini, so wondering if that what got things going, well time will tell.

So far R1P2D24 -27 pounds plus the pounds on my own for a grand total of 35 so far!!

So I need to put this three day no loss in persepective, I tend to get impatient sometimes and miss the big picture.

Yay, I am in in Onederland, but boo, I am stalled. Doing an apple day. I am stalled right at 199.5 so terrified of gaining ANYTHING!

Lynai you are doing great with your losses, just remember no loss days are normal. I psych myself by saying this is a day I am losing inches rather than pounds, so I don't obsess too much!

Ooooh I'll try that!i I am pretty good at convincing myself into a postivie (or at least not gloomy) outlook at just about anything that I intially find negative.

Thanks for the tip

Thanks for the tip

I do try to motivate myself and psyche myself up, but it happens to be true usually and I would not psyche myself (or you!) up with a lie

BTW, my gain was TOM. So I know it will come back off. After an apple day, I am back at 199.0. I am anticipating a pound or two off when TOM leaves town. Go away you! So my faith in the diet has been restored again too.
