Okay, Even though it's the middle of the afternoon, I decided to weight, since I'm changing clothes, and I'm actually down.
Last official weigh was 60K I think I saw the scale say 61K sometime in the past 3 days... Just now it said 59.6K So Im still at LDW. Yay. I'm considering whether to start an HCG round today. That would give me enough time for a short round before Thanksgiving, and time to finish it up or do another short round tween Thanksgiving and Christmas. But I'd have to take my first dose Today or Tomorrow Morning.... ![]()

I wanna thank everyone for cheering me on during my introduction to JUDDD and my attempt at P4 maintenance.
I've decided to go ahead and start another HCG round, yesterday, and so I don't know what I will be doing in this journal. Maybe I'll save it for reporting progress after this round which will be a short one. I guess I should start a different Journal? |

It's your journal, Metqa, why should you start a different one? Why not just keep us up to date with how your hcg round goes and then on to JUDDD after you're finished? We all want to know how you're doing.

Hi Metqa, I agree with everyone, no need to start another journal. Glad that JUDDD helped to keep you at LDW or thereabouts.

Well, since I just realized Journals are different from threads, and only one per person, I suppose I'll stick to this one, but now I wish I'd given it a more neutral title!
![]() Thanks Linda and Verbqueen for the encouragement. It really gives me a boost, thanks! ![]() Hey Barbara, You popped in at the moment I posted. Yeah, The JUDDD is cool, even though I didn't do it properly, it was still helpful. Seems a lot of folks are trying it now. Must be the Season of the JUDDD! ![]() Last edited by metqa; 11-01-2011 at 07:50 AM.. |

I do try a lot of different plans, for curiosity's sake, but it is BECAUSE my graphs get TOO Fancy, with too many mountains and hills, that I have to use them for real! ![]() But I'm not really changing plans this time, I'm just going back to the reduction phase of HCG, These plans were just me messing around with stabilizing cause I could. I'm actually kinda glad my weight didn't change much at all, because I want to be back to how I used to be where I could enjoy my WOE without worrying about gains or losses, just staying the same. That was my goal. I wanted to stabilize for a while before going back to reduction. Quote:

That is too funny!
We didn't live on a base, but worked at Camp Drake in Northwestern Tokyo.....near Camp Zama, the Japanese base, if memory serves me correctly. We lived in a rural community in Asaka, and let me tell you, if you want to learn the language in its vernacular form, live with the natives!!! C/Drake was not far from Ikebukuro! I actually cried when we left for stateside........I so loved living in Okinawa and Japan! Last edited by sazzie; 11-02-2011 at 01:11 PM.. |

![]() I think I'm gonna Crochet for a bit and go to bed early. I'm not hungry but I'm afraid I'll get my usual late night munchies and I don't think I need any more to eat. My MCT Oil Arrived today, two days early! I used it today but now I must re-evaluate what I know and how I will do this plan.Warning! Lot's of What if's and hypothetical Yadda Yadda For My Record Keeping of My Though Process Only- Not actually interesting to anyone not directly involved i said I'd do low fat/cal one day and high fat/low carb/calorie deficit the next. Sorta A JUDDD round. And I want the thermogenic benefits of MCT oil, and I'm trying to figure the best way to have the High Fat Day. Based on some recipes and information i found, there are a few ways to incorporate MCT into a high fat plan. -Replace Some of the oil, in oil based foods/recipes, with MCT(ie. Using MCT oil instead of vegetable oil to saute the chicken and serve it with Mayo blended with MCT oil) or -Replace most of the oils, in oil based foods/recipes, with MCT(ie.Use MCT oil to saute the chicken and make Mayo made with egg yolks, coconut oil and MCT oil to serve on the chicken. or -Replace all of the oils in the diet with MCT by following a Low Fat menu (use MCT oil to saute a lean chicken breast and make Mayo with Fat Free Cream cheese and MCT oil to serve on the chicken. I want to maximize the effect of MCT without dampening the fat burning, so I think I'll probably take the middle ground of using the MCT oil to replace a lot of the fat, but I'll also have meats with natural fat, like bacon(till I run out). But As my food options change, and my results vary I will decrease or increase my use of MCT and high fat foods. Right now I have a lot of regular cheese and some fat free cheese. I have some eggs but I'm running low. I have Fat Free cottage cheese. I have Whole milk and Skim Milk. I have Cream Cheese and Fat Free Cream Cheese. When I run out of Whole milk, I'll just use skim milk for my kefir. When I use up my eggs, i'll use the carton of Egg whites. If I wantButter, I'll use mostly MCT oil with a bit of butter, or with butter flavor extract. this round will be an evolution for me, i will see how I lose with High fat days vs low fat days, and if I lose with High Fat, I might just Add MCT oil to the low fat days to make them High Fat also. If the High Fat food days cause problems I'll trim the natural fat and use only MCT oil with a traditional Lean plan. Those are my thoughts. Safe Zone-no more Brain bending hypotheticals...for now... I found some recipes for using MCT in normal cooking like mayo, gravy, dressings, and such, rather than just adding it to drinks. I'll post them as I try them. You remember last round, Barbara, when I added a little bit of MCT here and there, mostly to pan fry my tilapia, and I didn't stop losing. It made me bold!
ButI did not use much cause I didn't know how difficult it would be to find MCT oil or how expensive. Now I've got my MONSTER 32oz bottle, Watch Out!!I'm gonna make some Mayo with it, even though I have a Jar of Dukes Mayo, which I love, but figure it would be better during the round to make a Coconut oil Mayo, rather than just stirring some into premade, as delicious as it is...I can have the Dukes in P3. Today's Menu is Taco Salad again, using up the last discounted Bag of Salad Greens. Tommorrow I'm looking to have an Italian Meat ball sandwich. I already made the meatballs with 96% lean ground, and egg whites instead of whole egg, regular Parmesan ( cause the Fat Free has MORE calories ) and spices. I'll make it with Healthy Life Hot Dog Buns, at 80 calories each, Pizza Sauce, Fat Free Mozzerella, Sliced onion, and mushroom and bellpepper if I can get to the store for the last two ingredients. |

So I'm Doing an HCG EFGT JUDDD round! ![]() First DD I lost the load weight plus 0.44lb. After the UD, I lost another 0.44lb. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, cause if that's another 0.44 then I'll be out of the 130's. ![]() ![]() My Low Days are about 400-600 and my high day was about 900, tomorrows high day will be over 1000 because I'll be using MCT oil from now on. Oh, Yeah, Gracie, I'll take all the successful vibes I can get. Gee, with so many watching, I sorta have to achieve don't I!
![]() Welcome to the show, So Happy. The UD calories will be easy BECAUSE of the HCG. Since it's supposed to be 500 Kcal and Last round I did days as high as 800 with ease. that extra 200 will be a breeze, but will most likely just end up being the MCT oil calories, which should also make it easier cause of it's thermogenic and satisfying effects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Round 3 of "2011"/PHASE 2 SUMMARYTotal Loss from~59.6K (131.12lb):1.76 Pounds Inches:0.0 Date ___ Day _ Morning Weight _ +/- ____ Round Total ___ Comments ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10.30.11.. 00.......131.12........+0.00.........-0.00.........Took First Dose in the evening when I decided 10.31.11.. 00.......134.20........+3.08.........+3.08........ .Forgot to take dose Ate junk food, and meat 11.01.11.. 01.......132.00........-2.20.........+0.88.........First VLCD Took next Dose first thing in morning 11.02.11.. 02.......130.68........-1.32.........-0.44.........Tried High Fat Day with MCT oil 11.03.11.. 03.......130.24........-0.44.........-0.88.........Reese's cup for Breakfast, Not a good idea. I can't turn my head properly, cause I'm sore and stiff from my shoulder blade up through my neck to my ear. I hardly slept at all last night from the pain. I took an acetaminaphen when I got home but that didn't work and i took another one and an ibuprofen at 1am and that didn't work, I was in pain all night. I was sure I wasn't gonna loose from lack of sleep and possible swelling but I lost more than I expected. ![]() I won't be able to do some of the things I wanted today cause of my back and neck, though.
