So my morning started well, but now I'm bummed. I had my 1st doctor appt with my new physician (haven't had 1 in a long time due to lack of insurance) & I had to go back on blood pressure medicine.
Sucks.Getting bloodwork done sometime this week, so they'll test my cholesterol & thyroid. Question for those reading: what supplements (and in what dosages) do y'all take? Last edited by Jayce; 11-17-2011 at 01:40 PM.. |

You know what hun, keep exerising and I bet you lower your BP soon, that will really help, my resting heart rate dropped so much lower since losing the weight and the exercise and I am sure once I quit smoking it will drop further! It was like 128 and now is 63 or something the last time I had it checked.
Supplements OMG, take a good multi, take fish oil for your heart, vit c, d, e, a, calcium/magnesium, selenium for skin,zinc, potassium for leg cramps, amino acids, borage oil, and flax oil. I take a lot but I swear they work!

I had the same problem with Fish oil the costco stuff seems to be fine though I am shocked I tried so many different brands you have to eat too, take the pills and then eat right away, sort of keeps them down I would take them and then eat at work, not good!!!

Went to DC Friday night & just got back last night about 12:30 a.m. Had a good time...drove up to George Mason U to support sorors at a probate show, then yesterday I hit up the DC zoo, met up w/ a friend a had lunch/drinks, then met up with 1 of my sorors I know from GA. I ate off-plan yesterday, but walked a TON at the zoo (a lot of big hills) & in downtown DC. I was at 219 before I left, so I'm only up a lb this a.m. Not bad.

I'm gonna be honest: today I didn't eat breakfast or lunch while at work, so I grabbed 20 chicken nuggets from McD's on my way home & ate all of them. I also ate 2 small bags of Bugles & a lot of a Lindt chocolate bar I'd bought before I started LCing. I slept off & on from around 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. I've had zero energy.

Cass: I don't have anyone to cuddle though...lol.
I take PB8 probiotics, potassium, chromium, ALA, B12, & I picked up some D3. I use extra virgin coconut oil in coffee. Take magnesium at night. I need to find a good multi & become diligent about taking fish oil. I'm contemplating buying SAM-e to help with mood regulation.Did 30 mins on treadmill (10.5 mins of that running) & 10 mins on elliptical. Was dripping sweat!
