Hey boo! Thanks for your ongoing support...I appreciate it! Can't believe we'll get to hang out in a little over a month. Woot woot!

Scale was up this morning...le sigh. I was under my calories, but not by much. My sodium was a titch high, so that may be what caused the slight jump. I've gotta buckle down in a few areas like sodium & carby stuff.

Saw this on my FB & wanted to share!!!:

Expect a positive outcome, and then go make it happen. Expect a fulfilling experience, and then go get it.

A positive expectation doesn't guarantee a positive outcome, but it sure does make it more likely. When you expect the best, you give yourself many distinct advantages.

A positive expectation enables you to see more positive, workable possibilities. A positive expectation gives you a solid reason and a powerful motivation to push forward.

When you wish to go in a particular direction, it helps to first turn and face in that direction. By expecting your most highly desired outcome, you can vividly envision and focus on a path that will get you there.

Your efforts impact the quality of your life, and your expectations impact your efforts. It just makes sense to make those influences as positive and affirmative as possible.

Enjoy looking forward to a positive, fulfilling future. Expect the best, and do the work to make it so.

Yanno for the longest time I always thought I was way up high on my sodium...switched to a different calorie counting app that tracks sodium and I am finding that I am WAY low... crazy! I guess I need to pay more attention to the stuff I'm eating LOL

I saw the Ralph Marston post on FB...Love it!

Well at least your sodium was low as opposed to high! I gotta work on eating less processed stuff, and that aspect should improve somewhat.

I'm kinda "vegging out" at my desk right now. Ready for my lunch break! I'm going to hit Subway since I have a giftcard (overslept this morning, so didn't pack food).

Hit the gym & did the Arc Trainer this morning -- boy, was it cold! There were more people than usual, but I chalk that up to New Year's Resolutions.

Packed my lunch & snacks, & I'm planning on getting in 4 cups of water at work (my cup is marked w/ 24 ozs).

Midway through the work week!

I was thinking this morning, "What are all these people doing here at 5:30 a.m.???" Lol. Funny how I'm used to only seeing a small amount of certain people.

Oh, Amber, I was talking about new people in the gym, but I understand if early in the morning is the only time you can chat on LCF...do what ya gotta do, girl!

Happy Thursday, LCF lovelies!

I am feeling really good this morning. I did great calories-wise yesterday (of course exercise provides a buffer with eating, which is awesome, LOL). Saw 215.4 on the scale when I got home from the gym...so close to my next mini-goal!

I downloaded Chris Powell's Choose More, Lose More on my Kindle Paperwhite (which I , btw)...I'm finding it motivational already & am looking forward to reading more today! Thanks to Danielle, I was very interested in checking it out.

Did 33 minutes on the elliptical early this morning -- I've been awake since a little after 4, but had to wait till my gym opened at 5. LOL!

Good Morning Jamie!

I've been struggling with the whole "when will I have time to hit the Gym" issue and you just answered my question.

I can go before work, it'll take more pressing; but I'll have to keep in mind that it's so worth it.

Good job on the loss!

Morning, Lyn! Although I have time in the evenings, I prefer to go in the morning before work b/c that way I can eat dinner & relax at night with my bf & the kids. Exercising in the morning also seems to give me energy.

Good luck w/ it -- you can totally do it!

Eating was good yesterday...I enjoy being able to work in "regular" food as long as I track it & plan accordingly. Weight was the same this morning, so happy with that! I realized just how close I am to reaching my goals this morning, and it's an empowering feeling. THAT is precisely what I need to hold onto in order to be successful.

This was so awesome to see from you! ^^^^ That, my friend, is what will get you to your destination and beyond. When you start believing, not just for weightloss but in everything you do, things will begin to change.

Good morning, my lovelies!

As always, your encouragement & eating/exercise examples serve as a point of strength for me -- thank you for that!

Saw 215.2 Saturday, weight bounced back up last 2 days -- I'm thinking it's b/c of the "ratchet drink" I had Saturday, LOL. It was a strawberry lemonade Four Loko (malt beverage) -- those things are huge & over 600 calories! I did eat low for the rest of the day, but I'm thinking I'm carrying some bloat still.

Yea, I really need to watch the type of alcohol I drink & make sure I limit it. I don't drink much, but that drink was a doozy! LOL.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Blonde...I do feel positive lately regarding my choices. Working on it every day!

Worked out this morning -- 30 mins on the Arc trainer. I did a hill interval program & my legs definitely feel it already!

I'm making the White Castle pie for dinner, so gotta grab a few things from the store on my way home. Hope they like it! My mom & I love it!

Hey girl, do you add anything to it or make it exact to the recipe? I made it once before and I wasn't impressed, seemed like it didn't have enough flavor.... but Linda Sue's coney island chili dog pie... that's a different story!!! lol

and four loko is bad news! My bf used to drink it all the time and I made him stop because it was total "a$$hole juice" for him lol!! At least the strawberry lemonade one tastes pretty good :P

I don't remember changing anything in the recipe...my mom didn't either. Hopefully it turns out ok! I've never tried the coney island pie...sounds yummy!

LOL @ "a$$hole juice"...brown liquor tends to make me that way. I become more easily irritated, for some reason. The strawberry lemonade one is the one I had!

It was the weekend! LOL.

I grabbed 1 for me & 1 for him while I was at 7-11. We'd had a long talk that morning re: my anxiety about moving, leaving my job, etc., so I needed to lighten my mood.
