Thanks for stopping by, ladies. I went to the gym this morning & did my intervals on the treadmill. Ran faster today than I have previously, so that was cool. For some reason, my weight is up to 225.2 after being at 223.4 the other morning. I know our bodies aren't "machines," but it's frustrating when I'm still eating well. Maybe I need to drink more water...IDK.

Just came back from gym & showered, now bedtime. I have a pain in the front & side of my left calf...don't know what that indicates. I stretch after I work out, so....not sure.

My eating was a little off-plan today, but hopefully the exercise will help combat it. We shall see. Nite, all.

Been "down" mood-wise. Haven't wanted to be around people. I think it has something to do with it getting dark earlier. I think I have SAD bc I usually get bummed when it starts getting close to winter. I want to sleep.a lot. :-/

Hey ladies...thanks for stopping in. Cle, I still need to make a trip down there to FL! I seriously need a getaway.

Cassidy, I am ok today. My boss has been plucking my nerves, but I'm just gonna keep doing me & he can keep all that stress. I really need to claim a sense of peace & joy so that I don't allow others to take it from me. I need to work on this!

Well, I haven't hit the gym since Friday night. I did a lot of walking & stood the whole 1st half of the football game Sat., but no formal exercise. I ate off-plan for dinner that night, & I saw a gain of 4 dayum lbs. the next a.m. *sigh* I have been really tired the past few days, so I need to get back in the gym tomorrow. It irritates me bc even my trainer said to have a "treat" day & eat on plan the rest of the time, but that doesn't seem to hold true for me.

Jayce- one thing, treats work occasionally on traditional low calorie diets but not so much on LC diets, so a little cheat is going to show big bloat, so you either cheat and accept it or don't cheat, LOL Hence my 19 pound bloat this past week from the trip, God it is mind numbing!!! But home 3 days and lost 15 pounds of it already it is so disturbing, I have done this 4 times now you would think I would learn my lesson, LOL

Another thing, whenever I have a heavy gym workout I always gain more the next day, your muscles are holding water and making more glyocgen to burn the next time, it evens out, then the next day you are usually down, so don't get discouraged!!!!!

You are doing great, being careful with your eating and you are exercising, all good stuff for you!!!!! You will see a big whoosh one of these days!

Think I'm gonna try only weighing 1-2x's a week...this weighing every morning routine is starting to drive me cuckoo! Lol. Forreal though. I don't want to obsess about it.

Tyl: I seem to prefer working out in the a.m. but it's not feasible for me all the time bc I work both day & night shifts every week, so I feel you. It does make it harder to set a routine.

Jayce- yeah I only weighed once a week for months, then somehow I got to weighing everyday and it is crazy it will mess with your head! LOL Pick a day and stick to that, I liked Mon and Fri, cause it kept me on track over the weekends, I think how easily it melted off for months and now its like impossible to get under 200, so frustrating!!!!! I wish I could work out in the mornings, I like it on the weekends, going and getting it done first thing, but my work week is way to early! I get up at 5 now, so no time for that. As long as you get there that is all that matters!

I like the idea of weighing Mondays & Fridays...think I will make that my new method. Thx.

I know when you get under 200, it will be an awesome feeling. I haven't been that small since '05, I believe. I miss it like crazy!!!

Oh, wanted to share a new love of mine: Trader Joe's 7-Grain Sprouted Bread. It's got 7 carbs per slice, but 3 grams of fiber, so only 4 net carbs. It also has 5 grams of protein each. It's somewhat chewy in texture, which I like bc it takes me longer to eat. Love!!!

Ohh Jayce every time I drive the hour to Trader Joes they never have it, that is probably cheaper than the Eziekel and less carbs!!!!! I love the Julian Bread but since I got rid of my big freezer I dont have room to keep 6 loaves! LOL

I don't think I've ever tried the Ezekiel bread. I do think that Trader Joe's prices are very reasonable. My freezer's not that big, so I can only fit so much in there! lol

I think that's my frustration with exercise. I can't seem to find a consistent routine. Go figure, I'm usually a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants typa girl, and the second I want consistency I can't have it.

Pick a certain day you're gonna weigh and stick to that. The weighing every day started to really dictate my moods on an everyday basis and it realy affected my day. I think you'll do great just weighing once or twice a week!
