Gonna try out that pizza recipe that sounds yummo!

Don't you love when people who know nothing about Atkins or lc in general try to give you the lecture about how you're gonna die! I did my final paper in my nutrition class on the myth's of Atkin's....my prof loved it and asked to use it for future classes. LOL

So I was a bad girl last night...too many drinks! Then the snacks at the party I went to were all stuff I wasn't supposed to eat. I'm up 1.8 lbs this morning. Gonna drink a lot of water today to hopefully flush out the bloat.

Lexi: Good to see ya around again! Yes, it seems like I always drift back to LC after struggling, but that's b/c I know it works! I have major frickin' issues with bread, chips, fries, etc., so LC helps me with breaking those foods' hold over me. I still have "bad" days, but I do truly believe that a reduced/moderate carb way of eating is healthiest! Good luck, girl.

Cle: When are you leaving? You're going to St. Lucia, right?

Danielle: I love a good cheeseburger! Lol. It makes me happy inside. Your paper sounds interesting...that's cool that your professor liked it that much. I do get tired of random people "preaching" to me about how I should eat low fat.

Nikki: How was your holiday weekend? I had to work, but I still managed to have fun.

Slept like crap last night, & I didn't eat anything till about 3 p.m. today. Work was busy. I am hoping tomorrow will be better! Going to work out in the morning...maybe the elliptical. I really dislike the amount of cellulite I have on my thighs & butt...ugh.

Ok, so I worked out the longest I have in awhile...did about 31 mins on treadmill (8 mins running at 5 mph...I do intervals to build up running time), 15 mins on elliptical doing resistance intervals (going from a level 1 to level 8 & back), and 15 mins on the bike (changed resistance throughout). I feel pretty damn good--I must say! My face was so red bc I was a sweaty mess, but I felt like I accomplished something.

Thank you!! I have issues with over eating, BIG TIME! Don't matter what it is! Thats why i LOVE LC, it allows me bigger portions Good luck to us both!!!!!

Thanks, Cle! I need to go check out a Zumba class again...the one I went to last time, I didn't care for the instructor. I need to try a different one. I do love dancing though!

Was up 0.2 today...that pissed me off. LOL! I swear, that scale is a meanie sometimes. I'm starting TOM though, so I know that's part of it. I think I had too much sodium yesterday though, after looking at my food diary. Trying to do better today.

Hey Jayce, I was lurking in your journal () and came across your post about the book, Protein Power. I searched for some info about on the internet and was curious enough to request it at the library. I couldn't put it down yesterday. It's a great book with some info/facts I didn't know about. I want to thank you, although you didn't know it, because you mentioning this book has really helped me to get back on track using this method.
