Ok, so I did a lot of reading online tonight & I am resolved to keep at this till I have a better grasp of my habits & emotions. I am not going to let my weight define me, and I need to stop thinking that way.

Processed foods are a major problem for me, so I'm going to work on that area. I want to have at least 1 fruit & 1 veggie a day, so that's my goal for this week. I'm sure the chemicals/additives in the junk food is terrible for my emotional state as well.

Keep plugging away girlie!! Not giving up is half the battle! Processed foods are evil. You are probably correct about them toying with your emotions! I could probably benefit from eliminating them also! Best wishes!!

Ok, weighed this morning & it's already headed down, so that's encouraging. I had 2 bananas yesterday...no veggies. I need to hit the grocery store.

I had a friend taking the John's Warts supplement and it helped her with her mood a lot!

And did you say MONSTER COOKIE!!!! I can eat every cookie Target makes.... from that Sugar to that freaking monster cookie!! LOL I shop in there so much they should rename it to CeeCee's.

Jayce all those additives in food and crap makes you crave them and they are terrible for you and can absolutely affect your moods, you need to watch Supersize me, man that is scary!!!! Look at the crap disease we have now, people like my Gram dont have that she is 90 she ate whole foods, real sugar not crap made from a box, I am trying to teach Bobby if you cant grow it, hunt it, fish it, or milk it, get rid of it, LOL He is so into reading ingredients now, I am glad, he is cursed with me and his Dad and he likes to eat, he looks good now but I could see him having a problem if he quits growing!

So I'm going to count it a success that I was able to have Chinese food & wine last night & not gain. I looked online before ordering & saw that chicken & broccoli is 1 of the best choices, points-wise. I did have white rice w/ it, but measured out about 1.5 cups' worth. I drank 1.5 glasses of moscato. Anyways, I'm happy that I was able to incorporate the dinner into my points allowance (didn't eat much earlier in the day). I'm feeling more "balanced."

Hey hun, I have been out of it as you know, I think eating whole foods is a good idea that is what I am doing now high protein but lots of fruit and veggies!

Hey Amber...glad to see you stop in. I def need to eat more whole foods in general.

1st week results: -1.2 lbs. Hoped for more, but it's a step in the right direction. I am going to stay focused! Gym in morning (haven't been in a month). The thought of going is worse than the actual going itself...smh. Lol

Nikki, I like the Zesty Santa Fe Style Chicken a lot...it reminds me of a chili
taste. I need to try other flavors.

Let me say, I officially am digging WW. I was able to have 2 glasses of wine last night, & I'm still losing weight. I have been cycling my point levels this week (mainly bc I've been sick & couldn't eat much some days), but I think it has helped. The only thing I'm still adjusting to is the fiber intake.

I went to gym & did intervals on treadmill...it felt pretty good, aside from my mp3 player flying off during one of my running intervals. Lol! The clip thing had came off, so stuff flew everywhere. At least there was only one other girl in there...I couldn't find the clip, so I'll have to buy a new one. Sheesh.

I was able to fit in a pair of jeans that I couldn't ever wear (had bought them a couple of years ago). I love being able to find "new" stuff in my closet. Lol.

Having pizza on Flat Out wrap...it's nice to be able to make substitutes.

Went walking in the park a few blocks over. I found some cool walking trails in the woods area, so that made me happy.

B: Coffee w/ "sissy" creamer (what my mom calls flavored ones, lol) & Dannon low-fat strawberry yogurt. Banana.
L: Progresso Light vegetable barley soup (ugh...why I picked that 1 is beyond me. Lol) & Thomas light English muffin w/ Jif natural creamy PB. Light string cheese.
Sn: WW chocolate raspberry ice cream bar
D: 1 c. Cheerios w/ vanilla Silk milk

Didn't use many pts today, but was a lot less hungry than yesterday.

I am close to my recent lowest that I saw 1 day a few mths ago....I am getting excited. I found a pair of jeans that I haven't worn since 2006, & was able to fit in them. That is an awesome feeling, so I'm gonna hold onto that mental image whenever I'm tempted to stray from my new way of eating!

Starting bk my 5K training...it's May 6th, so I gotta buckle down & focus.
