oh man! she's really sweet and motivating, but boy am i intimidated by the weight machines. first session she had me doing all kinds of crap i've never done. i'm still sore from that session. today we did a nutrition session and then i did 20 min of cardio. i am doing personal training twice a week and then twice a week i will go in for cardio. i like it. glad i have to be accountable to someone. I have to weigh in on the food log site every week and at the gym once a month so no getting around that. they did a body fat thing and i was embarrassed. i'm so frikkin fat...but i'm working on it..

had brunch at black eyed pea...got a quiche (didn't eat the crust much), fresh berries and a carrot muffin...oh and a mimosa. (i'm not sure what the cals look like but i'm just gonna guess based on what i'm seeing online somewhere between 7-800 cals)

I got a giggle out of that because that's how I felt when I was training w/ my trainer.

Morning, Tyl. I just got back from the gym...running intervals was hard today for some reason. But glad I got it in & out of the way. How often are you meeting up w/ your trainer?

so i didn't have the most successful dd yesterday lol. it was veterans day and since my love is a vet, i always take him out to eat. we went to chilli's for lunch. we had chips and skillet queso, i tried not to over do it. ordered a lunch portion turkey club (with guac and bacon..what was i thinking) it was served with a small portion of fries and a bowl of soup. brought the soup home.

well i followed that with a bowl of egg drop soup and 2 crab rangoons for dinner.

it wasn't horrible but could have been better.

i'm getting ready to go to the gym in a few. UD today. we're going to the movies to see in time around 2..will eat there... gonna get a turkey burger and sweet potato fries... looking forward to it. breakfast is a protein shake and greek yogurt. not sure about dinner just yet. jason wants shrimp, so that should be easy. we shall see.

i will pass this message along.

so far so good! i have to stop eating out so much. i find dd's really easy, but have this guilt about eating on ud's. so once i put that aside, i think i will be ok. i'm not a huge fan of calorie counting but i'm using an app on my phone that seems to help with that. i wanna give it a couple of weeks to see if i can get the kind of losses everyone else seems to be having. I have a feeling my UD cals aren't enough, i'm aiming for 1800. but since my trainer suggests 1500 a day, that would avg out to 3000 for two day of 2500/500... i think i'm gonna try and aim for 2000/500. The JUDD calculator was pretty close to those numbers.

how are u feeling about it? it seems so livable, so i really want it to be successful.

I really like it and am so glad that I have the option to eat regular food again. It was and still is hard mentally to not count carbs and eat 'forbidden' food but my body is responding well...I mean by not gaining 4-5lbs eating the way I'm eating. I seem to be more maintaining more now but I think it's because TOM came then my body had to get used to the carbs again so I had water weight gain. Now everything is in the clear so I feel like I'm really starting fresh now. I'm still working out the UD/DD thing too but I'm shooting for 1900/500 that balances out to 1200/day. We shall see...I want success like others are haing. The JUDDD board losses are incredible. Good luck!
