I've been eating a lot of dole salad kits. I think the dried fruit is throwing me off.
It used to be an occassional thing, but I seem to have a little dried fruit every day now.
Not only does it give me unneeded carbs but it also hurts my jaw (TMJ) to chew it.
I'm done with them.
Crumbled bue cheese on my salads adds enough flavor without the dried fruit.

I went to my Trevose Behavioral Modification Program last night and I MADE MY GOAL!
To join the program I had to commit to losing 20 lbs. You have a monthly weight loss goal...which is pretty small...depending how much you have to lose.
15 weeks into the program and I am down my 20 lbs. Way before they expected me to get there.
The goal there was 167. I go in the evening so I am always a little heavier than I am in the morning on my home scale...

So this morning, feeling good about myself, I put on this long black and pink shirt with leggings and black boots. My husband said I look good. He rarely comments on my outfits. Then he said it was a much younger look than I usually wear. I don't know how to take that...but he is probably right. I wear jeans a lot and leggings are not my thing...of course, I never fit into them before

Take it as a complement!!! I am sure you looked great in the leggings!! I love them they are so comfy but as you stated I have been to fat to wear them......but in a few months I hope to be able to put some on and strut my stuff!

Congrats on meeting your goal for the program that is always a wonderful feeling!

Wrote this post in the Maintainers Forum and thought I should copy it here to keep myself accountable.

It has been a few weeks now that I have settled in at this weight.
(This weight being between 164-166 on my home scale and 167-169 on the scale at my weightloss group.)

I've been debating on trying to lose more or what to do. I've never met my weight goal before so I feel a little lost.

I have decided to keep doing what I am doing. Keep my calories about the same and my carbs about the same as they have been.
My goal now is not to lose but to firm up, so I am going to have to start exercising. I always need something to obsess about- it is my personality- so for now I am going to start obsessing about firming up.

My first goal is push-ups. Requires no equipment and can be done almost anywhere.
I bet I can do about 2 if I drop to the ground right now...I'm going to work on a mini goal of getting to 10...

164.5 lbs this morning.
As I get further along is this journey I am less affected by the fluctuations in my weight. I guess I am getting used to it. I still hate to wake up and see a number above 165 but it does not put me in a bad mood all day anymore. I know it will be back down in a few days. I guess if I saw it continuously I would get more worried.

I didn't start my push ups yet. I guess today is the day. I need to firm up.

I took a good look in the mirror today. I'm happy with the view from the front. The view from the back is horrible though. It makes me think I should not wear a bathing suit anymore...just shorts so noone has to see that bumpy mess.

If you can not do push ups- the easiest way to start is my using stairs. Start with your hands on like the 3-4th stair and do some push ups. It is easier...then work your way down until you can do them on the ground.

165.3 this morning and 5 push ups.

I had my picture taken at work yesterday for our photo board. It is a new camera so I have to work on the coloring - seems like it is too bright or something...but I love how my body looks in this photo.
I look just like a normal "average" person. I don't think I look the least bit chubby.

Thanks everyone!

I'm going to a 2nd birthday party this afternoon. I think it is going to be snack foods and cake. I just ate some chicken and I am going to eat a salad before I leave...then I am going to stop on my way and get a big iced tea so that I am not tempted to drink a soda...

Hoepfully I make it through the party without mindlessly reaching my hand into the bowl of Cheetos.

166.7 this morning! I don't know where this weight is coming from. I looked back over my food journals and I am eating the way I normally do - so I am not too freaked out because I know I could not have gained this weight in fat - it must be water.

I go to the doctor this morning. I'll be interested to see what her scale says compared to last time.

I find that I am most comfortable at or below 165 - so I am going to work to get there. Anything above that makes me unhappy...so I am going to try to get down to 162 so if I have these little gains then I'll still be at or below 165 hopefully!

5 push ups today.

I wanted to copy this from my blog so that I keep myself accountable here too...

I went to the doctor today. She has one of those scales that tells you a ton of stats...so I was 169.5 on her scale. My first weigh in on that scale was June 9, 2011. I was 197 then...so I have lost 27.5 pounds since June.

Her scale seems to think I burn 1539 calories at rest. My current calorie count is at about 1750 calories - although I am not at rest all day.

So- anyway- my scale at home is 167 today. My low was 163.9. I am comfortable at or below 165. I think I am going to buckle down and try to lose 5 pounds. That would take me to 162 and allow me a 3 lb buffer that I can gain without being uncomfortable. So, I am buckling down and really trying to get back into weightloss mode for 5 lbs. Hopefully I can get that done in 3 weeks.
