Going to my dad's house today. I haven't shared my eating plan, so I don't know what to expect food wise. It will likely be a challenge!

My first day of not weighing myself daily! A little hard not to know what it is...but also freeing.
Cut way back on the HWC today and need to cut further back tomorrow.

I'm enjoying this WOE though, no matter what my weight is. I like the food and I like feeling in control.

I have not been weighing myself all week, so I'm not feeling a lot about my weight.

I think I will step on the scale in the morning...maybe. We'll see how I feel about it then.

On Tuesday Matt and I leave for our ride to Nashville. 1700 miles on the back of a motorcycle. And 6 days of eating out. Luckily I love meat and eggs, and I can get them almost anywhere...
The worse part of the trip is that I am going to miss my kids so much!

Back on the scale this morning and was another .9 lb down.
Whooshhhh - good week for me!
I guess cutting back the cream helped me a lot!

Tuesday my hubby and I start our bike trip to Nashville! (motorcycle, not pedal)
There will be lotsa eating out...but I plan on eating a lot of steak and salad...and asking them not to bring bread to the table!
I also plan on not drinking...I don't like being hung over anyway!

I did something I thought was great today! I sat down for lunch and dessert was already on the table. Delicious looking chocolate gooeyness. I looked at it and started wondering what one bite would hurt...
So, I called the server over, handed it to her and asked her to remove it for me.
Problem solved!

Of course lunch was a small piece of chicken, a few green beans and a big lump of mashed potatoes.
I ate the chicken and green beans and figured I'd wait for the afternoon snack - which ended up being popcorn, cookies and soda. So, I had some more coffee and now I am waiting for dinner.
Tomorrow I will shove a few snacks in my purse.

Back from Nashville and up 4 lbs from when I left.
Of course I usually weigh in the morning and this time it was the evening...and I have AF. Last month AF put me up a few lbs and took forever to come off...
We shall see what the scale says tomorrow morning and then I will try to stay off of it for a week!

Well, as of Monday the 4 lbs were almost all gone.
I did some looking at ****** today and realized my carb intake is slightly up from 7% to 8% this past month...I'm not quite sure what I am eating more of so I need to go back and really look through the food logs and see what I added back.
I think I am eating more salads...but I am not sure what else I am really eating more of that has carbs...I guess that is why keeping a daily food log is good.

Hi Paula, I like your new AVI! Looking good.
Maybe upping your carb intake to 8% is what helped you lose those 4 lbs? I've noticed I do better on a higher calorie intake and a slightly higher carb intake (25 gr. per day instead of 20).
Well done on already losing those 4 lbs and KUTGW!

Thank you. I was down another .4 this morning (since Monday.)
Maybe the uppped carbs is what is helping...I guess if it is working I should leave it be! Thanks for the reminder!

Down a little bit more today. I'm going back to my weekly weigh ins - I've weighed in more often this week, but not daily like I was.

I have a low carb lasagna in the oven. I'm going to take it for lunch a few days this week.
My husband doesn't like cheese, so I am making some spaghetti for him and the kids.

On Thursday I am starting my Behavioral Modification Program. It is a really strict program that I am going to do with one of my work friends. I hope that I can succeed.
The rules are at:
Rules of Trevose Behavior Modification Program
I am a little scared. It seems tough but it has some good success rates. I am already pretty strict about writing down what I eat and attending meetings. I went to WW every Thursday night for 2 years - except for when I was out of town, and often then I would go on another night and weigh in...so that part does not scare me.
It is the being able to lose another 20 lbs. that worries me. I can not imagine myself being that skinny...that would put me at 158. I just don't know - but I hope I can do it.

Hi Paula,

That sounds like quite a big step! Wouldn't it be great though if you could lose that weight!? I'm sure you can do it.
I hope you enjoy this (it sounds quite rigorous) and that it helps you with lose last lbs.
Have a nice week.

I had a big success this week.
My boss lost a lot of weight. She went from a size 12 to a 6-8. She had given me a lot of size 12 clothes last year.
Last week I asked her if she had any old size 10s still so that I could try them on. She showed up at work Monday with a pair of Tommy Hilfiger (my favorites) in a size 10 long...
So I took them into the bathroom and tried them on and THEY FIT!
I decided to wear them for the day and I got 3 compliments on how skinny I looked!

Woo hoo! I never thought I'd see a size 10!

I started the program tonight. I think it is really going to be good!
The ladies are so nice.
I have to track calories, when I eat, how hungry I am when I eat and where I eat.
Next week we weigh in and figure out our calorie goal.
I talked to the leader some and told her how many calories I am eating now - and my WOE. She was totally supportive of it and said she would work with me.
She did ask if I had 20 lbs to lose because it is the minimum to be in the program. I told her I do have 20 lbs to lose. She said to wear heavy clothes next week.
It is nice to think that someone thinks I am so close to goal!

I ate 2100 calories today! Wow. That is a lot!

I'm eating sloppy this week. I know I weigh in Thursday and then I am going to have monthly goals to meet...so I am sloppy this week. Of course sloppy is now 37.5 carbs, back before this I could have eaten that amount of carbs with breakfast!
In any case, I honestly feel like my thighs are expanding. They feel tingly and I feel like it is my fat cells growing! It is probably all in my head but I swear, it really feels that way!

After eating sloppy for the past week I stepped on the scale this morning expecting to see 184. But it was 179. Weird how that happens!

Tomorrow I do my official weigh in at TBMP. I expect it to be around 185 since it will be the evening and I will be dressed! Then I will start using their scale as my official weight, so expect to see a big increase from me tomorrow!

On another note, my mom is just unsupportive lately.

Hiya,

Sounds like the first week at the program is going well. Is your friend appreciating the support?
What a shame that your mum isn't very supportive at the moment. That can be quite hard I know (my bf isn't always very supportive of me).
Hope you enjoy your new WOE and that it helps you lose the last 20 lbs.
xoxo

Thanks! I ended up only being 13 lbs over their weight, but they let me join!
I still have to lose 20 lbs...
My friend kinda messed up. The first week they had us track our calories and told us not to try to lose weight. I ended up with 2020 calories per day on average.
She tried to lose weight and ended up with 1400 calories per day...and now they gave us a calorie goal...and there is no way she can cut further calories.
The good news is that they don't care if we stick to the calories or not as long as we lose.
I am trying to cut mine down anyway, but I know I can not do low cal and low carbs...and I chose to watch carbs more than calories...

Eva, it is a little complicated but it really has me thinking about what I eat, when I eat, how hungry I am when I eat, and it makes me face the fact that I eat less sitting at my kitchen table than I do when I grab food on the run. Looking at the behaviors is eye opening!

I blog about it...I don't know if I can post a link here though...but it goes through exactly what I am doing. I don't have any followers, it is more for me to be able to look back at it. But I can share it with you if you are interested.

On a good note, WHOOSH this morning...2.6 lbs down...177.3 on the scale this morning. I really never thought I would get below 184 lbs...so this is so exciting for me.

I can tell my mom is trying to be more supportive. I think she is jealous because she has always been about 10 lbs lighter than me. And now I have caught up to her and will soon pass her! We should not be in competition though. She has survived cancer, numerous surgeries...and she is past menopause...so she has a lot working against her. In any case, she looks great for her age...but I get the feeling she thinks this is a competition. I hope I never act like that with my daughter!

if it's an eyeopener like that then it's definitely good. That was my experience when I started LC-ing. It just made me realize how absurd my eating patterns were.
I'd love to read your blog. It sounds very interesting. I think I'm able to receive messages in my inbox now so if you can't post a link here you could maybe pm it.
Wow, thats a great whoosh!

It's good that your mum is making the effort to be more supportive. If she's so competitive it must be quite hard for her to see you pass her. And I think being aware of that is the best way to make sure you'll never do that with your daughter! Now that you know about it, you couldn't do it.

Hope you have a good week!

Well, I messed up!
Was away all week for work and ate out a lot! I also drank regular coke a few times which put my carb count up.
Then Tuesday I got sick. I have to think it was food related because I threw up, had the runs and my stomach just grumbled and felt like hell all day.
Wednesday morning I felt mostly better but I still had that sour taste...and I could not tolerate anything greasy, fatty, meat, etc. I just could not eat anything...except I wanted something sweet, hoping to take that bad taste away.
So I ate a delicious brownie.

So, now I am home, stepped on the scale this morning and I am up 4.4 lbs since last Thursday morning! YIKES!

Got to get back to clean eating! Low carb eating and drinking!
Maybe need a few days of an egg fast or something...

Woke up this morning and felt brave enough to get on the scale. I've been eating clean since thursday and feeling good...
So, I got right on the scale first thing and it said...176.1!!!!
This is my lowest weight yet! I guess counting my calories along with my carbs is really helping me. I'm hoping I can sustain this weight! 174.9 will put me at a normal BMI so my Wii can stop telling me "You're overweight!" Maybe I can get there by Thanksgiving which will give me the motivation to get through the holidays!

Had my weigh in at my program last night and I lost 4 lbs!
So that puts me 10 lbs down in the one month on the program. I am super excited!

Today I am wearing my size 10 jeans that last month I squeezed myself into. Today they fit comfortably and look oh so good!
