Longest day ever. I am so very looking forward to the weekend. So I have a co-worker friend who is doing a low carb type diet as a liver cleanse. She and I have been talking, and she notices everything. Everything I eat and the way I look. I look forward to talking to her because of it! Ha! The thing is she notices and that helps me. Anyway, I had a rough day. :/

Maybe it's something in the air, because I'm having a pretty rough day myself. Tomorrow will be better for us both, I am sure! We deserve it!

It's a full moon tomorrow night. As soon as I realized that, my mood improved 100%. I don't even know if I believe in craziness around a full moon, but the way my students acted today, HOLY PETE, now I believe! My entire school was in an uproar. We had flooding, and at least two children crying all day long. My ears are still ringing. I hope your day improves and that tomorrow gives you a break.

Hi, hugs

Sorry to hear you're having a rough day

I hope tomorrow is a lot better! I slept all day because I couldn't sleep all night, and I got a bit sloppy with my diet. Probably going to stall a bit, but not worried too much about it.

Tomorrow should be better for me as well

I feel stupid updating daily when really nothing changes. Good momentum. Strong willpower. N9ne weighing daily so I have no idea where I am. No time for a cheat today. There's an art show I'm part of. 16 hour work day. Will check in tomorrow.

146.2 after dancing all over the scale. It gave me a broad range so I kept trying. I was hoping to see 145ish. I did have the longest work day I've had in ages yesterday so maybe tomorrow will do me better. I know I've said I'm making natural products before. Well, last night I showcased them in my friends studio. We've decided to partner up this way and so far, it's working quite well. I sold out of the best products last night, which was just a lot of fun and I felt so knowledgeable in everything I did. It made me feel great about my products.

At what point did this become a way of life? I've been eating this way for months and I don't feel bored. My relationship with food is weird. I don't feel the need to cook elaborate meals. I mainly just eat whole foods during the week and occasionally add something like a store bought salad dressing or my Friday night anything goes excursion.

My PCOS must be shifting again as my eyebrows had to be groomed today. Tamed. Mowed. Yikes!

Funny how everyone becomes an expert. Silly co-worker telling me I HAVE to start working out. I say once again, I still burn more calories than I consume. I work up a sweat doing this job I have. I get my heart rate up, but also shut up because I'm not you and you don't even work out so why are you telling me I MUST? What the heck is it about people? Whatever. End of the day weight was the same, so an even lower number could be coming soon. Take THAT, exercise! :-P

Clearly an expert. LOL. You would think losing all that weight you'd have some sort of credibility. You're 10# from your goal, that's awesome. Definitely an inspiration to me.

About the full moon,,,,my mom was a psych nurse for the state and she said there was a definite correlation with the full moon and the number of intakes they would have.

I have found that if people know you are trying to lose weight they will chime in with their opinion, whether or not they heed the opinion themselves or not. If someone asks how I am losing I tell them cutting back on sugar and cutting portions. Since answering this way which makes sense to most people the "advice" has basically ceased. If they think I should exercise to lose I ignore them. I exercise to tone what muscle I have.

What's interesting is the one is about 200 pounds overweight. She's not the one initiating the exercise, but she did chime in and say the most. My jobs are incredibly physical. It's whatever.

Well I didn't weigh yesterday and out of curiosity, I just now weighed and hit 144.2. This is how much I weighed when I got pregnant with both of my first two children. In other words, I was 18 the first time and 20 the second time. So. Kind of a big deal. Milestone.

Since my numbers are still dropping pretty quickly, I'm guessing my goal should be lower. It's my first goal. Once I get there, I'll reevaluate.

143.8 tonight. My 3 year old wondered what she weighed, so we each took a turn. It's weird to see my numbers dropping. My clothes are getting so big and the number on the scale keeps dropping, but I keep buying the same size tops. What the heck? One day maybe my brain will catch up with my body changes! I think people are expecting me to stop my "diet" and return to "normal". I've made so many good changes, I'm not sure why I would stop. I don't think I want to go to maintenance yet. That's what I'm saying. It is decided! Yahoo!

My daughter touched my skirt last week and it almost fell off. I went shopping and realized that no, I'm not supposed to be wearing a 12. I'm actually wearing a 6. I had to search out smaller fitting 6's because my legs are skinny, I guess. I also took my measurements today. I'll compare this with the last time I took them:

Date: 9/27/2011
4:43 pm
Weight: 154.4
Bust (fulled part): 43
Ribs: 33.25
Waist: 34
Hips: 41
Thighs: 21.25
Arms: 12
Wrists: 6
Calves: 13
Ankles: 8
Band (nearly under armpits-the newer way to measure): 36
Forearm 10

Date: 5/14/2013
7:46 pm
Weight: 143.2
Bust: 41
Ribs: 32
Waist: 32
Hips: 39
Thighs: 22.5
Arms: 11.5
Wrists: 6
Calves: 13
Ankles: 8.25
Band: 34.5
Forearm 10

I only measured areas I wondered about. Oh, here's the first one I took:

Date: 6/1/2011
Weight: 172
Bust: 44
Ribs: 37
Waist: 40.5
Hips: 45.75
Thighs: 25
Arms: 13.75
Wrists: 7
Calves: 14
Ankles: 9

I'm non-stop hiking them up, and I couldn't squeeze into them until the third week of January. Trillex was mentioning it feels as though it takes her longer to get down to the next size. I'm pretty short, and I really think it's 10 pound drops that send me to the next size. This is making me wonder where I will be next, if it rings true.

I bought a size 20 when I was somewhere around 201. It was right then I decided to do Atkins.
SO...
200...20
190...18
180...16 This is all true so far
170...14 Yup
160...12 (I actually think I skipped this-maybe my 10's are really stretchy or I just hit a different season or something)
150...10
140...8 (I'm wearing an 8 or two now at 148, or a medium, and one 10)
SO...
130...should be a 6 (though I think it was last fall I wore a 6 at 149...could be the brand)
120...should be a 4
110...should be a 2
100...should be 0

NOT that I'll be doing THAT. I was just curious. And Trillex also inspired me to try on the clothes I've shrunk out of. If I have any. I pretty much gave away a bunch. All of the biggest ones, for sure.

Oh, Happy Easter or whatever you're celebrating today!
I was just thinking back to this post. I did my shopping excursion in my too big 8's and I'm at 143ish. Left with a 6. I know this is good. I am stoked to get into the 130's. I think I don't need to go lower than a 4 though. So, I may only be in this for another 10-15 pounds. I can almost taste it.

Isn't it amazing what a difference in height and body shape does? You were in a 20 at 200, and I can fit into 14s at 215. I shouldn't wear them out in public for another few pounds, but I can zip them up. My 16s, that were too tight before Christmas, are sagging on me. Of course, I wear my weight up higher, and a, still in 18-20s for shirts, because I won't wear tight across the boobs.

So I haven't worked one of my jobs in a week now. It was my big calorie burning job. SO, my scale hasn't budged. Actually, it's up a little but I'm way overdoing the salt lately and with our heat nearing 90*, I'm not shocked. I was using a Jawbone last week but it broke. I think within 24 hours. Basically I slept (apparently got some good sleep, too) and walked nearly 5,000 steps when it stopped in the early afternoon. Anyway, my stress levels have lowered by not working this other job and I'm working for a friend which is downtown and I do have to walk a little bit. I'm feeling backed up but waiting for my body to catch up with my summer life, I guess. I've had a few slow days at my early day job, which is adding to the lack of loss. I am having a lot of people comment on my loss right now also, which is because 1) I've lost weight. Duh. and 2) I'm finally wearing clothes that fit or my clothes are hanging off of me. Anyway, we'll see what happens.

The natural products I'm making are selling so fast! I'm really excited about this! It's a one man show at this point. I won't be able to keep up after a while, I'm sure. I just made sunscreen for the first time!

No change, but I've been less active all week and had WAY too much sodium. Plus, I'm sick. On Thursday, I felt so awful and just wanted to eat carbs. I fought so hard. I think I went up to 22 or 23 carbs that day, including bars and shakes. I was so happy to see Friday. I'm happy for a three day weekend. I am not happy to be sick and not happy to not be losing weight this week. I'm running into a dilemma where my Friday nights have run out of options. I think hard about what I eat. If there was something really delicious that was carb heavy, I don't think I would need to think so hard about it. So. Just an observation. Oh, last week I also added in more tomatoes and that won't be happening this week. I also didn't end up eating my lunch every day. I'm not sure why. Or when, even. But I came out with leftover foods.

I ate like it was Friday. I gave myself permission to eat whatever I want on holidays or birthdays, or rather eat not so strict. So, I ate pizza toppings and some cake and candy for a birthday celebration. Not mine. I only had a few bites of each, but I totally indulged. This long weekend is going to be like this, I'm guessing. I actually don't remember the last time I had a three day weekend. Or three days off. I'm taking it! I didn't have a vacation at spring break, and I took a few days off around Christmas, but still had two jobs then, so I couldn't go anywhere. If I wasn't working one, I was working the other. I'm trying to just let loose for a change!

Scale is up from my weekend craziness, but it shows a different number each time I get on. I might be 145? Who knows? I was back on plan yesterday and today. I did fine, though not enough carbs. Feeling so crummy. Ready for health and for my kidlets to be healthy.

I broke down and went to the Dr. today. Sinus infection as I predicted. I'm still holding at 145. Too sick to care about much. Just looking forward to relief. I hate putting drugs into my body, so this is not fun for me, but I am definitely happy there is an end in sight.
