Yes we took DD to see Santa... Went well initially until their camera messed up. Got one good shot... Not the best but the other was messed up.

Yea I saw my mom yesterday. It was good... She came over after visitation. Today is their anniversary... So she went today too.

Good morning, CeeCee! aaaw, a trip to see Santa! When my son saw Santa for the first time at the mall, and Santa asked what he wanted, my son just said, "A candy cane." So, Santa slowly handed him a candy cane. It was funny! He only waited in line for the candy cane!

I knew this but I thought maybe she had forgot about it.

Dogs are like kids, and puppies are like babies! Seriously. if you are thinking of getting a dog, consider checking out the various "rescue" organizations. You may be able to get a sweet, well cared for dog who is 3 or so and beyond all that puppy stuff...and housebroken! Bonus!

Cassidy, good luck on figuring out if you want a dog. I love dogs but don't want to make the poor thing wait to potty all day while I work.

I would love a dog. But then I remember that I'm almost done raising kids.

... Bryan thinks I need one tho cause the 2 big ones will BOTH be leaving next fall for college... that's a lot for me to deal with! However; DS and his girlfriend found a boxer a few weeks ago roaming the neighborhood one night...they brought him to our house. Cutest dog I've ever seen! He stayed with us a few days til we found his mommy and daddy.. I had the best time with that darn dog, they can be so theraputic! I still don't think I want one "all the time" tho.... maybe I'll just rent one

We did goldfish for awhile! Alex was like 4 and he was dying for a fish. Imagine my horror one day and "Sharky" was floating..... yep, you bet your sweet-behind I ran as fast as I could to buy another one before I picked him up from pre-school!

I think we ended up doing that like 5x before we finally got 'caught'.. LOL

I love dogs, but ugh..I don't wanna think about another "teenager" again!

Especially now that we're gaining some freedom we plan to do more get-aways etc.. too hard with a dog and knowing me I wouldn't have the heart to leave 'em in a kennel..

So yeah, maybe a dog is not such a great fit for the world's biggest baby!

The kids have hermit crabs, LOL Of course I only see Tony taking care of them, but they come out and are really social, they like having friends, we had 5 and lost one, the other 4 have lasted over a year and a half, I like them, they dont make dirt and they dont make noise or hair, LOL And they are friendly, LOL

If/when you decide to get one, the shelters/rescue groups have lots of nice mixed and full bred pups! We got ours at one that rescues pups from puppy mills and the amish that don't believe in fixing their dogs.

You probably should wait till you are settled for sure in a new home if you are selling. It would be easier then, and DD would be older to help take care of it. Perhaps build up to a dog....fish first?

Today I have lost a little over 20lbs!!!

Menu for today
B: Boiled eggs, sausage, coffee w/ creamer and splenda
L: Fish, Chicken, ... Whatever kind of clean meat they have at the buffet downstairs. They usually have a really good talapia

D: Nothing... IF from 1:30pm til 8:30am next day- 19hrs!!

YAY CEECEE! VWL is fantastic! SO happy for you!

I looove my dog! But, we got him as a puppy and that was a major pain in the ass, he destroyed two couches (TWO) before he grew up and didn't chew anymore. Also, keep in mind vet bills and quality food are both very expensive and recurring. So, I would wait until money isn't so tight, because vet visits and quality food are a non-negotiable part of having a dog! If I had to do it again, NO PUPPIES! A nice mellow full grown dog for me!
