The poundage could be from lack of sleep too. I gain when I don't get a good night's zzzzz's.

Yea the plan is to eat VLC!!! I think I am going to do meat and eggs with a little cheese. Then gradually add veggies.

If you go out and you drink get like vodka, or something zero carb take a crsytal light packet for a water bottle and make your own mixer, then low carb, but not too much alcohol!!!!

Drinks... Not successful. I had hunch punch and more!!! Oh boy but I ate low carb for the most part. I didn't too too bad. Back to give you girls details later when I make it back to ATL.

Okay. This weekend was a blast with my BFF and her roomies! We went out to a few local clubs, went to Sing it or Wing it (Karaokee Bar and Grill), and went to a gay club to see the drag show!!! Boy was that an experience!!!!!! Never been to one. Of course my eating was off plan but I still made sure it was protein packed so I think I did WWWWAAAAYYYY better than I would have done.

Then we had a day full of shopping!!! Oh how I love to shop! Belk was having a great shoe sale. I didn't weigh in this morning... I forgot but kinda glad I didn't because I would have beat myself up over it. Just plan on sticking exactly to the plan and doing VLC.

Next week my DD is staying the week with her Granny in Nashville. I don't know how I am going to cope without her!!!! ;( I am going to try and stay busy so I don't get too sad. But next week is the only week she can get her because she has trials lined up after that so...Gotta deal with it.


Menu for the Day:
B: Sausage patties (didn't have any eggs!!)
L: Chicken breast with some boiled eggs from a buffet
D: IDK.... haven't got that far yet.
S: I have some mini turkey pepperoni's if needed.

Sounds like you had an amazing time!! Staying off the scale is probably the best thing you can do for yourself. Of course it will show a gain, but it's not 'real' but there's something about that mental picture that sometimes can set us up to fail. Smart girl!!!

I love Leslie! I forgot I had a few of her dvd's too, I'm gonna have to go dig through my box! Beats walkin outside, huh?

Try and enjoy your free time while the baby gets to spend time with family. Maybe you could use the time to try out new recipes or workouts? Then you can say you spent it wisely and at the same time won't give yourself time to miss her! I always hated when my kids would go for like a month in the summer, holy cow that was hard! Its good for them tho, and mama deserves a break!

CeeCee- I know it is going to be rough without DD, I hate summer when I have to split weeks with my ex, but remember it is good for her, and a good little break for you to mentally focus on you for a change!!! Work out, go food shopping try some new recipes, then when she comes back you will feel more in control!!!!

Thanks ladies... Yea I will focus more on working out. I really am trying to step it up. My college Homecoming is October 14-16 and I want to be 30lbs lighter by then. It's gonna be rough but I know I can do this!!!!!!

Martini- Exactly!!!!!!! I want people to be like.... GURL YOU LOOK GOOD. And I would't mind getting a few looks from some guys I used to date in college. Oh those were the best times!! LOL

So, yesterday when I got home I ate two carb smart almond bars.... I know. I won't be knocking anyone's socks off if I continue that foolery!!! Luckily those were the last two. So NO MORE CASSIDY! Other than that, my eating was pretty much on plan.

So I didn't make it to visit my friend in the hospital yesterday. I just needed a break. I have been visiting here every other day for the last two months when they got here for rehab. But I am happy to report that she got her trac button yesterday so she can eat soft foods. So that is great. If only we can get her to stop cursing the doctors and physical therapists we will really be making progress. :/ I will visit her Wed and Thurs. Her doctors want her to spread her visitors out. So Wed and Thurs it is.

The plan yesterday was to clean up.... THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!!!! I walked my Leslie Sanson workout and went to sleep. Can you say tired. But I have clothes that need to be folded all over my guest bedroom!!!!! I am gonna get it together today.

Here is my menu for the day:
B: Boiled eggs and turkey sausage; Coffee with HWC and splenda
L: Tuna w/mayo and mustard
D: Chicken breast
S: I don't think I will have one.
