Trust me, I'd love to go too! This turned out to be a more bang for your buck typa deal so that's why he's doing it. Pay rent just like a regular complex so there's no huge bill right off the bat. Thank God!

Thank you! I'm finding that this trip isn't going to be an easy one. I think my days of easy peasy are over and I've worked my metabolism into a tizzy finally. I'm gonna have to fight for every pound I lose. I'm ok with that. I wake up each day and realize just how good I feel physically compared to a high carb life. The trade off works for me because now I don't feel like I could keel over at any second NO, thank you for being my friend. You've helped me more than you'll ever know lady!

I feel just the same way, Danielle! It really is a trade-off, and it's totally worth any challenge and sacrifice. You are an inspiration!

I was thinking about how when I ate high carb I would just HAVE to lay down and rest in the afternoon. After almost two months of low carbing it I almost never feel that way anymore! Pretty good trade off I think.

It did take a while. It was not like day two of induction I did not need an afternoon rest/nap. I just recently noticed that has been a while.

So, I was naughty last night. Well, not really naughty, but enough that I paid for it all night. I ate half a piece of garlic toast with dinner. OMG. My tummy blew up like a beach ball all night. HALF of a piece! Definitely found something that I am extremely sensitive to and won't EVER venture down that road again. OYE.

I can't believe I forgot to tell you guys!! The other day I tried on a pair of capris that I had stopped wearing earlier this year because, while they fit after they stretched out some, when I'd button them they were reeeaalllly tight and snug. They went on without any tugging or pulling or being tight. So, after a couple hours they stretched out to a point where I may not be wearin them much longer. But they fit! Changes are happening despite the scale telling me I'm the same.

AWESOME!!!! I love it when clothes tell us things that the scale does not. The other day I wore a pair of workout type capri sweats that had a drawstring on them. I'm like, ok, who needs a draw string when I bought them. They were certainly snug enough that they fit more like leggings. Totally no need for the draw string. I had not worn them in a long time, but got them out a few days ago. Then I'm like "WHAT! They wont stay up! I actually HAVE to use the drawstring to keep them up!" .

Congrats on the capris!!!!! One of my favorite things in life is loose clothes. I guess cuz I've spent most of my life in tight clothes.

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Loved the movie! Typical Adam Shankman movie. Tom Cruise was great, and the music was so much fun! Had to come home and listen to my Journey albums Now I can't wait to see Magic Mike in a couple weeks! Channing Tatum and Matthew Mcconaughey....

Scale is up 2lbs Meh. I guess that's my *reward* for skippin the popcorn. SMH
I'm giving myself a month and if nothing changes I'm going to have to reassess wth I'm gonna do. Monday will be 3 weeks. The 25th will be the end of the fourth week and 1 week before I leave for MT. Let's hope something happens!

My friend Christina told me to read Primal Blueprint so I am. She said I wouldn't be sad if I did That's my homework for this weekend, hoping it will spark something that I'm not seeing in my own plan.

You will get it. Don't forgot that bread... that is probably why you are up. Drink tons of water and you will be down in a few days.

Thought about the bread, but half a piece? Really????? 2 pounds???????????? It was maybe a 1x2in piece I ate. I have also never experienced constant hunger like I have this time around. It's getting old.

Hang in there honey! Don't give up!

The first two weeks are like of like a weight loss "honey moon". Weeks 3 and 4 can be tough. Some times it just takes some time for your body to get into the groove. Even though I've lost 26 pounds in the past 8 weeks, I had more than one week where I did not lose much, or any, weight. The scale has gone up and down and all around. But I know from past experience that if I hang in there for the long run that the scale WILL eventually go down.

I started doing an online calorie/carb counting thing. I use the my fitness pal. There are others out there. Friend me if you join! It has helped me lots . I'm so glad that somebody suggested that I do it. Now I've got my sister, mom, and uncle joined up there with me! And some of my low carb friends!

I'm just shutting my big fat trap from now on ..........................
Just put on a pair of pj pants (it's a lazy day what can I say? ) that I haven't been able to even get over my hips in the last year. Yup, wearin 'em all comfy & cozy with room to spare even.

....told ya I was neurotic All this dieting mumbo jumbo has really done a number to my psyche I need to just learn to BREATHE!!!!

I am taking a breather Danielle for the summer. You are not neurotic this losing weight can make all of us somewhat loopy. I am in a phase or not losing until September and just working on maintaining what I have lost by 5 lbs up. Right now I am 4 lbs up from my last official weigh in and I think it's because of TOM still being in the house but I will not know offically until he leaves but I am Not going to allow that to drive me batty! In the mean time I WILL enjoy my summer days and continue my exercising. Enjoy your comfy P.J's with joy!

LOL Thanks Maggie! Yeah I'm just not gonna say anything anymore and "just be". I dunno that I can afford to take months off of here and be able to stay on track. I need to be here and accountable otherwise i starting wandering around and get myself into trouble. I think you'll do well with your goal for the summer, you're on a roll and I know you won't do anything to undo all that awesome progress you made!

--------------------------------------

So, I'm not going to weigh for awhile. The numbers drive me nuts I do well knowing that changes are happening the way my clothes fit as well as health changes in the way my body feels. That's enough for me right now. I need to stand by my own words that I AM MORE THAN A NUMBER. I am going to "Just Breathe". Matter of fact, that's going to be my next tattoo I think. Its a great reminder to keep myself calm and not sweat it so much all of the time!

Hi Danielle,

Hooray for your clothes fitting looser!! That's fantastic. I agree with you that it's important for us not to give the ole scale too much power. I am also trying to stay away from it for at least a week. That was my "old" weighing schedule, once a week. Maybe I'll go back to it.

Have a super great Sunday, and enjoy listening to those Journey songs---they are the BEST!

Hugs,

Jenna
