LOL i can't believe it, it's all gone soooo fast! Feels like I have to symbolize it some how... probably a cherry blossom tree with 3 blossoms "off" the tree.. I dunno yet.. got a few years for that one!

I'm huge into Japanese symbolism so that's what most of mine will be. I would most love love love for Ami James to do some Japanese art on me somewhere

I just wanted to say hello and say you guys are all such inspirations! Today is my first day on this forum and my official re-start day for atkins, I have been on induction for 11 days now but cheated a couple times and really wasn't following as best as I should or could. So no more of that! Today is the day, today is the day I quit hating my body and get my confidence back and you guys are helping me thank you!

So glad that you decided to restart Atkins! IMO it is the best thing out there, at least for me anyways!

I'm happy to hear that you have had that talk with yourself about your body. Took me forever to realize that I had to love my body at this size right now before I would ever be able to move forward and succeed. It's been a bumpy road since I restarted but I am comitted mentally to seeing it through to the end this time. The best thing ever was starting this journal and getting involved around here! Look forward to seeing you around and post often, it truly truly helps especially during those low times!! Glad you posted!

Thanks for the reply! I am new to posting and forums can you give me any pointers?! I feel very unorganized as to where I am suppose to be posting or what a feed is versus a post? Am I suppose to start a journal or feed? Thanks again for the support.

You can do whatever you want! If you feel like the accountability of a journal will help you then go for it, if not, then just find a spot on someone else's

Also bouncing around on the other forums here is helpful, there is tons of info here with lots of people with much experience. Good luck!

Coming up for air!!!

Busy hectic fun last few days! Errr, well, some things not-so-fun...like my garage flooding at 4pm on Christmas Eve!!!

Boy was I ever so thankful that I'd gotten everything wrapped and had gotten up early that day and done all my baking and prep work for cooking Christmas eve dinner!! Ended up wasting a few hours cleaning up all that water mess...

Santa was very good to me!

I got a new coffee maker, chi flat iron and chi curling iron, an iHome, a few cd's and lotsa spoiling!

Man, wish I'd have had the forethought to record Bryan's face when he opened his iPad! Classic shock!

The man was silly enough to believe I actually got him something practical, like underwear and socks.

.....course....it could have something to do with me convincing him that what i'd gotten him was "boring"...

God I had a chi years ago and gave it away and now I wish I had it, LOL I didnt know they made curling irons!! That is cool! I am glad you were treated well that is the main thing!
Garage-yuck that was a freaking mess you didnt need!!!

Yes, I love my new hair gadgets! lol I had a chi flat iron but it broke so had been using a cheapie one and Bryan was mortified at how damaged my hair got. The curling iron will be lots of fun to use cause I rarely curl my hair! The garage mishap is par for the course for us...*something* always happens! I am getting ready to go "mean" I feel so gross this morning!

Hey sweetpea! Yes, definitely had a great Christmas, toooooo good. Totally feel like I need to be rolled around instead of walking I've eaten so much the last few days.

I am so ready for the new year! Ready to hit the ground running and looking forward to changes physically and mentally with my body. Started to do some reading on training for my half marathon and its got me very motivated and excited!

Ok good chalk this week up to disaster arm the home with LC foods and exercise plans cause its all happening in the New Year, I am glad you guys are on board, I feel fat and gross I swear my stoach skin was taunting me at the gym today like look at me I am fatter, LOL I felt gross, but what am I doing, drinking a bloody mary! LOL

LOL, Amber, when I was eating just about everything last week, my tummy was so bloated, so I started saying I had a Buddha belly...then my 18 month old nieces started chanting "Buddha belly! Buddha belly!" & wanted to touch it. LOLOL.

Ugh, I hate the buddha belly! I hate when you eat so much and get so bloated that you can't even breathe in all the way cause it hurts too much.

I did somethin to my back! I dunno what, pulled something, a pinched nerve? The right side of my back is all enflamed and weird.. sitting here with stinky ointment on it in the hope that it will go away...ugh smells like an old folks home in here!

Went and saw the new Mission Impossible movie last night. So good!! And Amber, we were good, we stayed home for dinner and made yummy cheesesteaks...mine was in a bowl

And I had only 1 light beer. Success!

D- very proud of you, that is awesome see its not so bad is it?? Step on ein mastering the problem times for eating, you dont want to work hard all week and blow it on a single night, so not worth it!!!
