Danielle- I have a recipe for a delish WW cake. Take a cake mix and a can of any fruit with the syrup and bake it!!! It's only like 1 point a slice... That is of the old WW program. Glad you are coming down on the scale girly!!! WTG!!

That is super cool about Amber's birthday!!!!

Had a great night out with the hubbs. We did nothing of real importance but it was nice being out! We went out and had dinner and then walked the mall for over an hour. I did have 2 beers but I had saved a couple points for that, plus I had the weekly "bonus" points to use; so I did. Right back on track this morning and feeling good.

Last night I brought up to Bryan that I had to figure out where to squeeze in my walking. He let me ramble for a little bit and then says, "well would you be willing to wait til the evening times and then we could go together?" I almost fell out of my chair! Pretty shocked to say the least but he's always surprising me these days.

Cassidy that cake sounds YUMMO. I wonder if it still applies with this new program? I'll have to check it out! I forgot to tell you, my accounting professor added a note to one of my homework assignments asking me what degree I was after and if I was considering going into accounting because she says I have a knack for it. I thought that was pretty funny!

^^^^this part made me tear up! Why? Because in the 18+yrs we've been together, I think he truly does want me to succeed for real. I think he has made so many changes mentally and emotionally this past year(for the better) and he finally sees how important it is for me, not only to feel better about myself, but for my health. He has amazed me so much! I guess I'm just flattered that he truly wants to be a part of this particular journey with me because let's face it, I have been dealing with weight nearly our entire marriage and this time it feels genuine on his part.

I realized something this morning:
I have about 9 months until my half-marathon, give or take a couple weeks here n there. If I can lose 8lbs a month, I will have lost 72 pounds. Holy freakin hell that's a big number!!
That would put me about 180 and only 40 pounds from my ultimate final goal. 8 pounds a month!

I got this!

Walking last night was great! We did about 2 miles. I even jogged a couple times So weird! LOL It was a cooler night so it was a good time to go out. Bryan walks really fast too so that kept my pace going and got my heart rate up there. It was so funny, we're getting ready to leave and my youngest DD asks me if I have my inhaler. She was all afraid i was gonna pass out from not being able to breathe cause it's been so long since I've exercise. God love her!

something about that realization yesterday about the huge amount of weight I stand to lose if i keep at it, has really triggered somethin in me to keep it going. I love it!

Danilelle- a half marathon is really freaking hard, you have got to start and start out doing what you are doing, get the Couchto5K for your Ipod, and repeat each week a few times if you need to, walk and run 30 seconds it seems like an eternity the first few times but then you really build up fast!!!! So glad you are realizing your potential and that you can do this, honestly I never ever thought I could do it, so I know anyone can do it, you have to suck up all your inner strength and determination and just do it day after day and you will amaze yourself at the power you gain from taking charge of you!!!

You know I started running in May, and then Tony was recovering from his ACL and the therapist had him start running a few weeks ago, well I was sort of ticked, like hey this is my thing that I have been working so hard on, and now he wants to steal my thunder or something, well you know, with him beside Saturday I felt so much stronger with him there cheering me along and pushing me, so its a good thing! Now I sort of want him to be able to run with me, it is the greatest feeling to share that together!

It felt pretty freakin great to know that I *can* actually jog. It probably doesn't look real pretty but I can move. And hey, at least it was dark outside! Boy howdy do I need to get me some sports bras tho. Wowzers, the poor girls were having a free-for-all for 2 miles!

I am shocked as heck that I made it 2 miles. My feet were on fire around mile 1, especially my heels. Of course after I took a bath and started relaxing is when they really started hurting, I was scared I wouldn't be able to walk in the morning! Nope, they are a-okay today so far!

Amber, I can imagine how exhillierating it must've felt to be side by side with Tony and running! I can't wait for that!!

Funniest thing is we had so much fun last night, giggling and talking about totally off the wall stuff. Me lubbs my husband berry much.

yeah its under Podcasts, it is all broken down so he tells you when to run or walk and it has music to it, sort of lame music but it works,

Robert Ullrey's C25K Podcasts search it and it should come up

No fighting last night, I didn't run. LOL Did another 2.5 miles. Tonight I think we're going to go for 3 miles. I wish I had taken this semester off, I've got too much other stuff going on

Amber, I did find the c25k stuff on itunes but it doesn't work. Gonna have to just google it I guess?

Today has been a not-so-productive day. Pretty much just messed around all afternoon after therapy. Hey, what's a girl to do right?

I'm thinkin that I am rockin this WW thing. Seriously tho, I jumped on the scale this morning and I'm down 2 pounds (unofficially) and still have 2 more days til weigh-in Friday. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! <<<<<<that was my best Napolean Dynamite impersonation.

Danielle- hmm I am not sure why it didnt work, you need that program, or a stop watch, and do it yourself, you might be tricky enough to take some music and record over it walk, run, when indicated?

Here is the page that explains it, great job on losing, so happy you are liking WW!!!

Amber, I did find c25k stuff. They're mp3 files, I just gotta convert them over to itunes and I should be set. I've been reading that site for the last day or so, tons of great info there!

Cassidy, I am seriously considering changing my major I am loving accounting!

Blonde, thank you! I am really liking WW and the freedom it affords me and my family but still be eating healthy. My attitude, well, that just comes from alot of hard work (mentally) this past year I think? Firm believer that everything happens for a reason and that nothing happens until it's supposed to, so perhaps this is my time!

Walked 3 miles last night. I didn't have the c25k stuff converted yet so didn't start it. I'm going to start it probably next week fresh starting on Sunday or Monday. In between I think we'll just do some long walks and I'll do some weight training. We totaly hauled it last night! I could feel it be easier to breathe and move compared to the first night where I was really draggin a$$ the 2nd mile. Again, had some amazing conversation and laughs all while on my way to achieving my goals!

TOM showed up today. 4.Days.Early. Not a happy girl!!!! I am bloaty and feeling totally blah today. It sure explains why I've been a little ****** on wheels the last coupla days tho!

Yes, effing time of month Cassidy! It makes me a raving lunatic most times It's not like I need the stupid thing any ways! I hate it so much, mommy make it go away!!!!!!!!

We've gone 3 nights in a row for walking and Bryan was talking about maybe not going this evening to give a break and my first thought was Nooooooooooo I wanna goooooooooo! So I dunno what we're gonna do. I need to find a good weight training dvd, I don't own any of those.. hmmmmmmmmm. *thinking* guess I get to go shopping!!!

I am about over this here Access class. I flew through Excel like crazy, but for some reason, I can't see logic in this program at all. Maybe it's just my mood today. I'm leavin it alone for the rest of the day and doing something else..

Oh, and can we say STARVING!?! I feel like I've eaten all afternoon and I cannot get full today. WTH is up with that?! See! Another reason TOM needs to get lost!!

I snuck a peek on the scale this mornign and I was up one of the 2 pounds I was down yesterday.. didja all get that? I think I may end up either being the same or down only 1 pound come weigh-in Friday. Ah well, hormones, what's a girl to do.

TOM- hmm I have it all the time now I am hoping that soon settles it is getting really annoying, but at least it is sporadic and not that bad!

Sorry I have been MIA but lots going on these days and most is it not so good but that is a whole other story! The good one is I am down a few more pounds so that totally outweighs the bad!

Hope you have a great day! We have this girl!!!!!!!!
