Winning the little ones like I did was very fun. Going in not ever expecting to win and then winning off n on for the week was exciting. Too bad it couldn't be millions and then I could retire and just become a professional student like I really want!

I pulled something in my back yesterday so I'm moving way slow. I hope this isn't gonna be a problem this weekend cause I'll be p.o.'d for sure. I'm also trying really hard not to think about the pile of homework that I KNOW is waiting for me already that I *should* be doing this weekend.

Hey girl - just checking in to see how you're doing. I've never done WW but I know people who have and it seems to work so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's a good fit for you.

I can't believe how lucky you girls are when it comes to winning stuff. I don't know that I've ever won anything worth more than $25. You all must have the magic touch. So jealous!

Have a great weekend!

I'm back. I need a couple days to recover! Seriously, WAAYYYY overdid it Sat. night. I think I found all of Cee's lost pounds by way of too much beer. But holy cow I love me some Blue Moon. It's shocking how many beers one can consume while totally engrossed in people-watching at 10 o'clock at night. With it being Sat. night all the people were comin in to the hotel to go to the clubs and casino, etc. OMG some of these women, the way they were dressed!

Didn't win big this weekend, sorry girls. I tried though! The one thing this weekend did was make me miss Vegas in a major way. I think we are planning a little trip to Vegas very soon. We were talking about it this weekend, then in therapy today our therapist asks us to plan something to mark the start of our new life together, a new beginning together. Could it be anymore ironic?! So we'll plan something for us to do something fun in Vegas. I think maybe Elvis needs to officiate this time.

Sunday morning I was moving way way slow and not in the mood for neon and cigarette smoke so we left the hotel and went to lunch and a movie. We had the best time this weekend, makes me anxious to plan another one!

Now its time to get serious tho and get going with weight loss and exercise. I have 300 days til my marathon!!!! Per my therapist, I need to find something that is going to motivate me in regards to exercise and not be afraid to pull the trigger in spending the money to do what I want that will keep me motivated. And yeah, well, the gym is what keeps me motivated; going some place, getting me out of the house, seeing others success, yep that does it. she said that because I am home 24/7 doing school and taking care of the kids that this is why this appeals to me in a big way.. So, with that I'm going to look into a gym and not feel guilty for spending the money. yeah, good luck with that, eh? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.......

back to reality today and time to hit the books and start mom's taxi!

I'm alive. Barely.

I'm drowning in accounting homework that is due by tonight. On top of that I am trying to read up on the WW plan as I have zero clue how it even works anymore. Having a hard time wrapping my head around it all, and way overwhelmed by all there is to read.

I will consider this a successful day if I get this chapter done and remember to eat. That's it! Nevermind about the other 3 classes I have YET to do homework in.

Vegas thing; possibly may be going next weekend don't know for sure yet. We're kinda stuck in a weird place with all 3 therapists (yes, there's 3. My individual, his individual, and our couples... ) saying they don't think we should wait long to do our renewal. Originally thought about going in October, but seriously, it is in the heart of my semester of school. If we go, I want to be able to stay for at least 4 days and not one of these overnight deals KWIM? But that's alot of school days not being utilized and that scares me at how behind I will get. Not to mention that from that point we're about a month out from moving. I would LOVE to go to your wedding Amber, OMG that would be soooo fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dunno, we may say screw it and just go for it in Oct. I will know more in a day or two. Bryan's gotta see if he would even be able to get this time off next week anyways, so may not even be an option if his boss says no way.

Sorry so short, gotta get started on the books. BBL

Successful day yesterday! Got everything done for class and then some. Shocker, I actually understood more than I thought I did and flew threw the homework!!!! Love it when that happens. Now I gotta study for an exam tho so that bites

I also remembered to eat. Yes!!! I worked the WW plan, had a stumble or two along the way but for the most part it was good! I am still so weirded out that I can have fruit! I LOVE LOVE LOVE fruit. I had a cold orange last night during Big Brother, holy schomoly was it good. This time would usually be where I had a Slurpee and some sort of carby junkfood, but that orange was sweet and cold and refreshing..I was a happy girl!

I still have a ways to go with this WW thing. It has been so long since I've done anything like this I have forgotten everything, or it's changed. I am determined to somehow try and make this as low carb as possible, trying to keep myself as satiated as I can so I don't feel so deprived of anything.

The weather has cooled alittle. Yeah, down to 99 instead of 109. If the sun werent so friggin bright all the time that might be tolerable. I can't wait til its finally 60. *sigh* for like 2 seconds and then it will be 100 again. I really need to move!!!!

Nothing on Vegas yet. I have no idea what we're gonna do Maybe December?

Fruit is amazingly satisfying especially after not eating it for so long!!! Let's face it fruit didnt make us fat, the bad combos of fat and carbs mad us fat, so enjoy it. I buy the best and freshest fruit I can find so I can really enjoy it when I eat it!!!!

i love fruit too. I use it when I'm craving something sweet, so i will freeze some grapes - when we go out on the boat pop a few frozen grapes and ahhhhh. yummy. on my break in class a cold pear. or after my lunch some strawberries. Blue berries are awesome in a protein shake smoothie
glad your homework was easy.
thanks for kicking my butt in my J

I add in a little fruit here and there. I figure an apple HAS to be better for me than other things I could grab...
I know several people that have had success on WW. Good for you!

Hi Sweetie! Oh how I know what you mean, but I am so stoked with your perspective about your yourself, your life and where you want to be. I don't know what makes these things so illusive and then suddenly something clicks in your head and BAM, a light bulb goes on. If you can truly be happy with yourself you have whipped half the battle. Follow whatever plan you feel is best for you, and don't worry about your weight loss, just the plan and eating right for you. Everything else will follow...eventually.

Danielle, I did WW for a while and I think it helped me to do something different from the LC and then after a while get back on that. I lost pretty well on the WW and now that I am back on LC, I am really focused and losing. I hit 24 pounds today since starting back and am fired up. I have gone down 2 sizes and am so excited. I think you will enjoy the flexibility on WW and I think for people that have to cook for a family it is a little easier than the LC way of eating. You have this, I know it!!!!!!!

Have a great weekend!

Phew! Am I ever glad it's Friday cause I am one tired girl. The good news is I think I get to go out for a few hours with the hubbs. I've missed him this week, he's worked such long hours this week and I've been buried under so much homework I feel like we've barely spoken.

Dren, yes, I am finding that I love the flexibility with WW!! It has helped me tremendously this week under so much stress. I had to think twice about stuff I was eating and then remembered, oh yeah I'm doing WW I can eat this. I've being in the mindframe of Atkins for so long that it's been quite the adjustment to think there's other things that will help me lose too. And lemme tell ya, cooking this way this week was SO. MUCH. EASIER.
BIG Congrat's lady on the weightloss so far, that is fantastic!!!!!

Oh yeah!!! So I weighed this morning.I'm down 4 pounds since Monday. I had actually regained the few I'd lost prior so I was sittin at 254 Monday morning after our weekend. This morning I was 250 even. And hey, I didn't starve this week!!

I like that lil guy

Oh and this one

Cool new smilies!!!!

Ok guys, I gotta go get ready to pick up the kiddies soon.
