you did great! and you know the pound is definitely not fat so I bet it's gone soon! sucks to see a gain anytime you are on plan but especially when you are being restrictive!

Hi mrsmcdade! We can definitely do it!

Andrea - I'm more than a little scared to see the scale tomorrow. I ended up eating a lot today - shake, bun less bacon cheeseburger, quiche, and some nuts. So much for a slow transition. I'm sure I'll bounce up, but I'm hopeful it will be a temp bounce and fall soon with Juddd'ing.

Amber, I ended up eating too much today, too... I had some nuts and some Dreamfield's so I'm not sure what the scale will show tomorrow! I guess after 2 weeks of Stillman's I just needed to eat!

Andrea - I hope you have good luck on the scale today. Dreamfields sounds good. What kind of sauce did you use? Are you going to keep doing stills this next week?

So I was pleasantly surprised with the scale this morning. It stayed at 223, still up just one. Today is my UD and I get 2000 cals. I'm having a shake, carrabbas chicken bryan w/ Caesar salad and green beans, and not sure what else. Maybe grilled nuggets and a few nuts? I calculated carrabbas to be roughly 1200 cals.

The scale is actually down .4 pounds from yesterday's weight. So weird. I just used some butter and parmesan cheese on my dreamfields... I wasn't really in the mood for the meat sauce I made for my husband. We might be having dinner at Outback tonight and I know that Stillman's won't work there so I think I'll have an Atkins-style dinner and then go back on Stills tomorrow.

Outback has a pretty good plain chicken breasts, in the event you decide to go on stills. But I'd do Atkins style and get Alice Springs Chicken. YUM! And WTG on losing more!

I'm done eating. 2000 calories goes pretty fast strangely. I'd have thought I'd get full fast today after being on stills but nope, my stomach is just as big! oh, my salad today was amazing. Simply amazing. And my spinach melted in my mouth. Veggies have never tasted so good.

Amber, I didn't want to be the weirdo at Outback who was not only passing on the bloomin onion, but ordering a plain chicken breast! We ended up having some wings for appetizer and I had the cobb salad with grilled chicken and blue cheese dressing. I was going to do Alice Springs, but the salad was calling to me!

Oh how I love that blooming onion. I wonder how bad the carbs are in that...

So scale stayed the same again for me. 223. Makes me think I'm already stabilized after stillmans or else my scale is just broken. Haha. Today is a DD, so usually I'm down after one of these. If I'm the same again tomorrow, I may go scale shopping.

Today was a lot of eating on the run. Had about 480 calories - coffee w/ cream, atkins caramel shake, and bar.

I made spinach lasagna and have it ready for tomorrow's lunch. Also have quiche ready and bought pistachios.

Haha Melanie. My mind must be in the gutter because I was expecting something dirty!

Back to 222 today. Hurray! I'm super excited about my menu for today so that makes today good too. I'm so impatient for the teens that these next three pounds will surely be torturously slow. I've been at this weight a week now. TOM is knocking so that wont help. But I'm giving myself three weeks to hit this goal. Three weeks. Come on body!

I'm STUFFED. I've been sleepy and headachy today so ate a good bit of pistachios trying to eat away both the exhaustion and headache. It didn't work. I calculated that I'm right at 2000 cals, so on target.

At work today we had a birthday lunch with pizza, chips, sugary soda, and cake. I sat on my hands. A skinny lady gave me advice about all things in moderation. Uhm yeah, that doesn't work for me. Thanks for the advice.

Keep at it and those lbs will melt away in no time.

Exactly. It's funny, but I lost 40 pounds before I got this job and only 15 since I started. These people know I lc but don't really know that I've been successful. When I visit friends or former coworkers, it's such a confidence boost compared to the new job.

Scale stayed 222 today even after what felt like a very indulgent UD. I'm very hopeful that tomorrow will be a new low. I keep reminding myself that I should be elated my stillmans loss stuck, but the whiney baby inside me is growing impatient.

Andrea - how's it going?

I may have had 700 cals today instead of 500. I lost track with the pistachios. Drats.

I'm doing okay... I haven't been back to strict Stills, but I've been staying low carb and today was VLC. The scale's been staying the same, right around 339.

Andrea - that's great that your losses are sticking too. Now hopefully we can figure out how to make our scales move more.

Mine is STILL at 222. I'm getting frustrated. I have a lot of things working against me with Tom coming and all the pistachios I ate yesterday and some stress with work, but I don't care. Move scale, move!!!

Gracie - I think you are right. It helps hearing it from someone else. I'm hopeful things move, but I know I need to exercise patience.

Ate a late dinner at outback. It was delish! Alice springs chicken, broccoli, and salad. Perfection. I may have exceeded 2000 cals.

So I calculated my day yesterday and did in fact exceed 2000 calories. I was a few hundred over. Today was 223. I'm so frustrated and mad that the scale is being so stubborn but then realize I exceeded my last two days of calories. I had too many on both the DD and UD. So today I'm going for a perfect DD. Tomorrow I may try 1900 calories as my UD limit instead of 2000. I need to get this going.

Today's plan is a shake and bar and nothing else.

Yay!! Danielle is home! Actually, I do okay on DDs. My trichina is to eat all my calories pretty close together to get a full belly at least once. Then I slowly get hungry but manage to sleep fine on an empty stomach. I added a tablespoon of cream to my shake to make it more filling too. Soooo good.

So I managed to stick to the shake (210) and bar (210) for 420 today. Hoping for a good number tomorrow.

You will get there. Just don't starve yourself in the process.

Just kidding. I know how it is, I often find myself not eating all that much on some days. You just aren't as hungry after a UD.

Mel - the juddd calculator put my DD number at 377!! So I'm technically feasting at 400-500! I just can't get it lower yet.

221 this morning. I did a happy dance and got back on the scale and saw 222. I'm claiming the 221 and mad that I stepped back on the scale. New rule is that I won't get on the scale again if the first number is good.

Going to try 1800 today instead of 2000.

WTG!!

Never ever ever ever step back on the scale when it graces you with a new low. Ever! Lesson learned.

How's the weekend going so far?

Seriously. If the first number blows, my motto is to try try try again. Now, if the number is good, I vow to accept it the first time and call it good.

Today was great. Dh needed new work clothes so we went shopping. He's tall, thin, and could be a clothes model. Every single thing he tried looked great. I'll never know that 'problem.'

It is a DD for me. I had grilled nuggets, a shake, and bite of hotdog. Estimating about 525 for today. Tried to drink lots of water but we were out a lot so prob didn't get nearly enough.

222 again. Today is supposed to be a DD but I don't think I have the heart for it today. Might switch to an UD and change my rotation. Not honestly sure what to do to make the scale move again. Anyone have suggestions? I don't like staying the same weight for so long.
