Katy - feeling about the weightloss? Excellent! Feeling in general? Still slightly sick but def getting better.
Andrea - ugh, I hate TOM bloat. Keep strong and maybe this one pound is all you'll gain. Hopefully when it ends you'll whoosh down, if not sooner. I'm honestly not sure I could be this strict with AF around. Ate more today. Had chicken sausage (not my favorite), turkey, deli meat, and a few bites of real sausage. I'm not expecting the scale to move tomorrow as a result. Grocery shopping is super easy on this woe. All I bought for me today was deli turkey, eggs, chicken breasts, and sprite zero. Four things! Of course I already had stuff (cottage cheese, broth, turkey burgers, and chicken sausage). I'm missing coffee w/ cream. ![]() |

I meant with your cold, but good to know you feel excellent about your weightloss! How could you not, you are just wooshing right on down the scale!
I don't blame you for missing the coffee with cream, I have a hard time going without, it's kind of my one staples since I don't have to have guilt over partaking and I just love it! Although not as strict as you, I am also enjoying how easy vlc has been. It's nice to not have to count in my head what I've had for the day and just eat protein. |

Thanks for asking about my cold, Katy.
Coffee with cream was a staple for me too. It was even my treat many days or something I'd grab running errands to make me not miss all the other bad stuff calling my name. I'll happily add it back in a few days. You are doing awesome with vlc and working out! I'm jealous of your menu since you get fat to eat. So today was the first day since starting stillmans 12 days ago that I didn't lose. I knew it was coming. I'm down 12 pounds (7 were regained, so 5 are new lows). My goal is 4 more before transitioning off stills. Although I may consider finishing out the two weeks with Andrea, it depends on how I feel. Menu will be turkey, chicken, and broth. Simple. |

Holy Guacamole! Look at you go!!!
![]() ![]() Great job on the Stillman's!!!!! I am up 2.6 which is really quite remarkable since I'm the queen of 5 pounds in a weekend! LOL! Got right back at it on Sunday after everyone had left and am doing well today. So happy for you girl! |

Thanks Mel! Look at you almost halfway to the 80s!! Wow!
Andrea - yay on the pound leaving and taking some with it. Yes, drink, drink, drink! Laura - mmmmm...guacamole! That sounds excellent! 2.6 is remarkable. Drinking alone usually causes that kind of gain and I know you did more than have one lonely drink. Thanks for cheering me on. ![]() So I've been drinking like crazy today but not going potty. I peaked at the scale and look to be either up or maintaining (yes I weigh at night too). Hopefully I'm surprised tomorrow cause maintaining or gaining is extra hard on this woe. |

No loss for me today. Boo. It seems like cruel and unusual punishment to stall doing this. I'm hanging in though. Come on weightloss!!Andrea - after two days in a row on not losing, I have even more respect for you for staying strong after showing a gain. Mel - I hope that you post a loss today!! |

You are doing great!!! I'm sure the heat is playing with the scale too. If you're drinking a ton and not going to the bathroom you may be slightly dehydrated. No worries, you'll get your whooshie soon!!!

Two days with no loss stinks! I hope you have a good loss tomorrow!
I'm down a pound today... with TOM starting this is unheard of! I haven't had much hunger the last few days but today I'm hungry! I have to stay focused. |

Gracie - I hadn't even considered dehydration but it makes sense. My pee this afternoon was pretty dark. I've been downing the water like crazy.
Andrea - wow! Good work! I'm so glad you are doing so well and doing this with me. It's getting increasingly difficult for me, in large part because I'm not losing. ![]() Ate deli turkey, chicken, and more chicken. I spiced up the chicken but skipped the mustard. |

Amber, there's only so much fat your body can hold onto when you're restricting this much. I know it will woosh away soon!
My eating was fine today but I was really hungry a few times during the day. I had harboiled eggs and turkey sausage for breakfast, chicken burgers for lunch, and I made cuban steak for dinner and had some with cottage cheese. I did pan fry the steaks in olive oil, so I'm sure that's more fat than Stillman recommends, but it's a healthy fat and it should help with the hunger. Hopefully it won't stall me!

Yum Andrea. Your menu sounds awesome. Hopefully the oil won't stall you. It sounds heavenly.
So I told myself if I didn't lose this morning I'd start the transition to low carb/juddd. I'm down this morning - 222!!! I was sad at first because I really wanted an Atkins shake or cream in my coffee. Then I realized how dumb I was being for being sad at a loss. So I snapped out of it and am keeping strong. Had a spicy chicken breast for breakfast. Will have eggs for dinner. Not sure about lunch yet. 55 gone forever! Happy 4th of July! |

Yay on the loss, Amber!
The olive oil didn't mess me up... I'm down another pound and a half this morning! I couldn't believe it... especially with it being tom. Another pound and I'll be back around siggy weight. I made DH pancakes from scratch this morning... one of my favorites! But, I really didn't have temptations to sneak a bite like I usually would. I had some turkey bacon and turkey sausage for my breakfast... I'll be sure to drink more today to make up for the sodium. We're grilling out today at home, so I'll have lots of meat to choose from... we're grilling burgers, chicken breast, steaks, and some turkey bratwurst. Anytime DH fires up the grill I always have him grill some extra meat for me to have in the fridge. Happy 4th! |

Andrea - that is so awesome!! You are doing so great, especially with TOM. You'll be at or below sig by Sunday. Grilled meat sounds great. Our grill is in storage (we are in an apt temporarily) and it's raining here so no grilled foods for us. Darn.
Mel - yes, only a few more days. I will def stay with it until Saturday, but may go longer. I really want to stay on this until 219. Three more pounds. So we have a big town celebration with tons of kid stuff this evening that we hope to attend, but so far it's raining. Hopefully it stops. Otherwise, we've had a really great day. We went out for BBQ and I had pulled chicken (dry). Then we took ds to the mall for their indoor play area, then he split a pretzel with dh, we got him a baseball hat, and then took him to build-a-bear for the first time. He got a blue Teddy with white stars for the 4th. It was a really fun time at the mall. Even dh who hates the mall had fun. I'm currently super hungry but planning to wait for dinner. If it's raining it will be eggs, but if the sun comes out, I'll be eating out somewhere. Maybe at worst a grilled burger plain with mustard. |

Had a 6oz sirloin for dinner. Not the best choice, but man, it tasted like heaven.
![]() The skies cleared in time for the festivities. Ds had a blast. We saw ponies, played, got his face painted, and danced to a band playing oldies. He'd never seen a live band and was mesmerized. So fun. |

Scale held steady at 222. This is now 1 pound in five days! I'm finishing out today and tomorrow and then transitioning off. I think I hit a wall and need to go back to the calorie swings I had with juddd. My frustration level is high.
![]() Today will be: turkey, chicken, and eggs. |

No change in my weight today... but, I ate a lot yesterday. All protein, but just way too much! So, I'm not surprised. If my losses slowed like yours have, I'd probably move on to something else, too. Isn't Stillman's supposed to be temporary? I've read mixed information on it, but it doesn't seem like it would be a good thing to stay on for too long. I've never craved a salad as much as I am now!

Andrea - I'm craving salads big time too. It's weird but definitely a benefit to stills: to crave veggies.
Katy and Mel - thanks. So I have not switched since I told myself I'd do this for another week - until this Saturday. I'm trying hard to honor my word to myself this year. I'm super happy that I did this for a few reasons. First, I'm down 13 pounds. Can't beat that! Second, I'm in deep ketosis. And third, I'll have a new appreciation for veggies. But geez, I'd love the scale to move soon. |

Ok, I know what I wrote, but I officially quit stills today. I'm up a pound today. I cannot take this another second. I'm going to transition off with fattier meats today, but no veggies yet. Seriously, it baffles me how Im up. Grrrrrrrr.

How frustrating! I'm up a pound, too... but I'm thinking it's because I had like a cup of lettuce and a 1/2c. of shredded cheese yesterday. But, really, if a tiny bit of lettuce and some cheese would make me gain, then how in the world and I going to fully transition into a less restrictive eating plan?
