Haha Laura. You crack me up!

Danielle - wtg on no alcohol!! I'm not a big drinker but have gone out a few times lately and had too much. I need to stop it. It tends to set me back a good week.

Andrea - while a pound is good, I so understand that it just doesn't cut it. They say 1-2 pounds per week is good, so I figure 2 for people over 200. What did you buy today? I need to shop tomorrow.

Today was busy. We attended a huge BBQ and I ate some dry, lean pork. Nothing else. Had chicken breast for dinner. Drank lots of water, some crystal light, and one diet soda. I feel totally full and satisfied. Mentally I could eat way more. The cashews are calling my name. As are the Atkins products. But I'm not hungry.

Dh is nervous about this new plan. He wants me to stay with lc/juddd. I had to reassure him that this is a short term jump start and that it's necessary to overcome my diet fatigue. I also reminded him that he was against juddd at first.

Amber, I bought lots of chicken breast, low sodium deli turkey, low fat chicken sausage, turkey bacon, eggs, and fat free cottage cheese. I also found some chicken burgers in the frozen foods section that I'm going to try. They have 4g of fat each.

Andrea - thanks for sharing. I used your list to help me shop. Got eggs (boiled a dozen already), deli turkey, chicken breasts, frozen turkey burgers, and chicken sausage. Oh, and mustard, cottage cheese, and broth.

Mel - thanks. The pork was pretty tasty so I didn't feel deprived at all.

I'm down one this morning - 234. 6 to go to get to sig weight.

Today is day three for me actually. I'm down two this morning, so three overall after two days. I'll take it. My keto breath is pretty bad. Just four pounds above sig weight (again). I'm determined to lose those four plus one more to hit 50 gone forever.

I know, time keeps flying by. Did you all realize we are almost halfway through 2012?? Craziness.

I hate keto breath. I'm so self-conscious of it. But it's a fantastic sign that things are working. I ate great today. Deli turkey, grilled chxn nuggets, and hb eggs. Lots of water, tea, and diet coke.

I don't know if I'd even recognize keto breath... when I lost a bunch of weight the first time around, I was eating South Beach-ish so I don't think I ever got into ketosis.

Day 1 of Stillman's went well for me... I did put some reduced fat parmesan on my shrimp at dinner because I was craving some more flavor... the carbs and fat were really low so it should be okay.

I need to up my water, though!

Good job Andrea! Hopefully the scale will reward you!! I forgot that you did SB before. If you stick to this vlc plan, after two days you may wake up to the nastiest tasting mouth ever. Brushing doesn't make it go away. Yuck!

I'm down another pound today. That's four in three days. Sitting firmly at 231, which is three up from sig.

Yesterday wasn't hard really. I felt full and energetic but I had a bad headache and mentally wanted to eat more stuff. Like I wanted cashews midday, wanted to put mayo on the hb eggs to make them deviled, and I contemplated getting a bacon cheeseburger at lunch. My body was almost on autopilot trying to eat. Crazy.

interesting how your body wanted to get some fat! Good luck on Stillmans! I did it 9 years ago to drop fast before my sister's wedding....good results but man, is it hard!

The scale was up a pound this morning! Then, I blew it at a luncheon I went to and I just feel really down in the dumps, like I'll never be able to commit to anything.

I REALLY need to wake up tomorrow in a new mindset! I just can't find my motivation.

Andrea - I'm so so sorry. I prob would cheat if my scale went up too. It's just not fair after being so good. My motivation comes and goes. My only good advice is to fake it until you make it. It's really terrible advice but it helps me some.

My slow wireless on my iPad is causing some double posting. Sorry.

Saw 229 this morning. 6 of my regained 7 are gone. I'm going to eat an Atkins lunch tomorrow but otherwise plan to stick to stillmans until I hit 219. I'm hoping it's roughly two weeks away. Then I'm going back to lc/juddd.

Oh honey, 24! I wish!!! No, no.... turn those numbers around! I also have a soon-to-be 18yo DD in Aug, and a soon-to-be 20yo DS in Nov! The baby is 16 in July I cannot believe it!!

Thanks, I hope I do too. I hate being sick.

It's weird but I keep thinking of comfort foods to eat, carby stuff. I almost rationalized it and then said to myself, "self, are you hungry?" I wasn't. Then said, "self, you are one pound away from a huge weight loss milestone. Do you really want to go backwards again?" I so don't. So now that I've talked to my mental crazy carb addicted inner voice, I know I'll be fine.
