You are totally right Gracie. I know that i should let it go, but it does creep into my mind that I could have been close to the teens now. But I'm mostly just proud that I'm down 45 this year and it's not even half way over. My year goal is only 80, so I'm more than half way there. I'm excited that I have not given up and still feel so confident that I will eventually get to goal.

Today should be a DD but I need to switch my rotation, so today will be a md and tomorrow a DD. I'm starving this morn so I'm glad I can have a few more cals.

Got invited to Mexican. Had a salad with grilled chicken. Used salsa and sour cream as my dressing. It was really great. My medium day may have been an UD. Oh well, tomorrow will be a strict DD.

Today has been TOUGH. I had a protein shake for breakfast (160), a sausage dog for lunch (200) and was still starving. I measured out approximately 140 calories in cashews and savored those. Still hungry. Definitely didn't pick the best bang for my buck type of meals today. Been sipping diet soda and unsweet tea, trying to trick my brain to stop bugging me for food. Oh, tomorrow will be deslish. I can already mentally taste the bacon burger I plan to order at lunch.

229!!!!! Sooooo happy with the scale today! The last time I was in the 20s, I was in my sisters wedding. It was 2004 (8 years ago), and it was on my way up on the scale.

Today is an UD. I plan on having a shake, cashews, bacon burger, sausage, salad, and ice-cream. I'm drooling with hunger. Haha

Okay Amber - you talked me into it. I'm starting with an UD today. I am really leary of 500 calories on my DDs. Not sure why though! I did this for so long without an issue. So, I may do 750 DDs for a bit to ease back in. If I lose well, I'll just leave them there.

And awaaaaaaaaaaay we go!

OMG - Congrats on the 220s!!!!!!!!! I'm green with envy! LOL! WTG!! WOO HOO!!!

Laura - I'm sooooooooooooooooooo glad you are restarting. I saw in another thread that you said you're up some, but trust me, it will fall back off when you commit for a week. It will be gone in less than 14 days I bet. And then you'll be knocking at 229. So hurry up and let's walk into onderland together. How does late August sound for you?

Today was an UD and it was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed today after being so hungry yesterday. Had what I posted above. I haven't been counting UD calories but estimating instead. I figure my shake (200), cashews (300), burger (700), brocolli w/ butter (100), sausage (400), salad (300) and icecream (200) put me at close to 2200. I'm not 100 percent sure on those calorie counts but if I keep losing at estimations, I'm going to keep with it. When that stops, I figure I'll buckle down and stay closer to 2000, which is where the JUDDD calculator has me for this weight.

No scale movement today. Woke up hungry today. I think Tom is due soon so I blame him for being extra hungry this week. Ugh. I know I'm in deep ketosis but the appetite suppression has gone out the window. Maybe tomorrow, when I have calories to eat, I should try to eat extra fat? Hmmmm...

Mel - I'm still 30 away from you. Maybe I'll see the hundreds in three months. One would be magical, and prob impossible. My goal is sept 2 - when my nephew is due.

Thanks Danielle and Katy. It was a great day. I love our food choices on lc. We really have the best woe.

Hey Amber!!

Well despite my subconscious throwing a temper trantum because she didn't want to count calories - I made it through my UD on target.

Now the real work begins today on my DD! I'm leaving myself some leeway but will keep it under 800 calories for sure. Shooting for much less, though.

August onederland? I can't even imagine that I could make it then but it certainly is a goal to shoot for! I KNOW you will make it!

Danielle - hopefully I celebrate your birthday at my big goal!! I'm totally prepared if I don't, but oh a girl can dream!

Mel I need you to come and whip me into shape.

Today was good. My turkey unwich was blah. I missed my bootlegger club, add cheese, add 'sauce', add onion. Oh how I missed it, but it was over 100 cals more than bland, sad turkey Tom.

I told my mom that I can't have bagels, cake, or her amazing lasagna. I reminded her of my woe and she is going to pick up stuff for me and change up some menus for my visit. It really empowered me to have that convo beforehand. If nothing else, it will make cheating harder since I put it out there that I'm focused, and goal minded.

I leave tomorrow but will checkin beforehand.

Mel - I need you to move here and be my personal chef! Actually, your support is a big part of my success. Seeing you hit 199 has reinspired me that it's possible.


228!!! I jumped off and on a few times trying to knock the number down a pound. It would not budge. 49 pounds are gone today!! Just 29 until onderland.

It's crazy how fast and slow weight loss seems sometimes. The other day I reread my journal and I so remember how excited I was to post my first ten pounds gone. When I hit twenty, it was magic. It seems like yesterday in a way, but I'm down 49 pounds. When did that happen?

I hope everyone has a wonderful week! My goal for vacation is to weigh Monday morning and be down 50 pounds. I've never lost on vacation, but darn it, I'm going to try.
