I've been trying to pull my mood out of the dumps today but I really feel like and and and and with all those negative emotions I'm feeling

I left my ipod with the subliminal stuff at home so no escaping from these feelings either.

Yesterday I had a few not so pleasant interactions with folks and some of it spilled into today too so I'm not having a good day today and I want to take my toys and go home and crawl into bed but I still have to go to job #2. Nobody will be in the office so at least I won't have to deal with anyone.

I'll be glad when today is over...

Thanks Wonder Twin. The bad part is I messed up my first week the first time I ever did this plan and then I fell off after week 3 so I am going to try and watch that week 3 trip up. I know I said I wouldn't do 50 days again and maybe I'll do a quick P3 weekend then back into P2 at the 25 day mark but either way I am doing 50 days. Big hugs Tamika!!! Is TOM lurking? I always get in that kind of mood right before he makes his appearance. Praying you feel better today

I have some tough love for you Instead of focusing on the 160 number, try to focus on TODAY. Do the best you can TODAY and don't worry about tomorrow. The pounds will add up but I think you are putting too much pressure on yourself. It's daunting to think you have to lose 50 pounds and can make you want to quit. If you focus only on TODAY and not a number I think you will be more at peace with the process. I know you can do it - but take it day by day. You're putting too much on your shoulders

I'm not sure if TOM is lurking because when I started this round I had some break thru spotting and then it went away. Since I don't keep track of my cycle anymore I am now all confused as to when it is supposed to be here. But you're probably right.

Thanks for the good advice. I'll have to start focusing on today, tomorrow because today is already shot...

I jumped off the wagon.

Hi Ladies, Thx for everything I really appreciate it! TOM made it here today and that explains a lot about my week last week. I'll have a better idea now since I can keep the info in my journal.

I went to see a friend this past weekend and that helped a lot with cheering me up but boy and I tired

Today I'm at 210.6 because needless to say jumping from the wagon and TOM were not a good thing.

I have regained my composure and have some new found determination to slim down.

Ahh TOM will do that to you. It always have me very emotional. Glad your weekend visit helped too..you're too frisky!!

yeah if it wasn't for my journal I wouldn't know when it's time. I go back each month and see when I'm feeling more bloated and teary..LOL.

This next week I need to work on getting all the way back legal on my meals. I know that the salad i've been eating is convenient but it's not all the way legal and I think the little things are dragging me down.

Not sure what I was thinking trying to take on as much as I was when I was last trying to get back on track... That did not work out well.

I'm maining just above the 2's and not happy, but happy not to be still going up.

I've cut back considerabley on the things I was committed to. Just taking a minute to catch my breathe.

Where did we leave off...

So much to update so little time.

Quick check in to say I'll be posting my thoughts and such in here as I get myself back on track.

Currently in fast mode for another 5 days + I'm on day 5 of my fast = 10 day fast. You know me, I like to take things to the extreme so we'll see how I'm doing after 10 days and where I'm going from there.

I decided to start with a fast because I had so many really bad habits I created in the past two years and I needed a breather and time to contemplate.

Now I remember...

Two years later I am 1 pound heavier than my last starting weight and 19lbs heavier than the last amount of weight I lost, Alrighty then Twilight Zone maybe

Nah, just a serious lack of taking care of myself and a whole lot of being overwhelmed.

There has been a lot of changes in my life since the end of '11 and not all of them good but I just recently aligned myself with a new company and was blessed with a talented life coach (the standard version, not the one previously mentioned - although he is still supporting me in my journey) and things are starting to move along in the right direction again.

Part II:

Some of the things that have been hampering issues, she is giving me perspective and action items for improving. I'm tremendously grateful!

Losing weight is one of those things.

I haven't picked an eating plan or anything for after my fast but I am considering juicing, but don't quote me on that Right now I'm focusing on the next 5 days. By Sunday I will have to make a decision on what I'm going to do.

I'm reviving my journal because I always get these interesting thought when I'm not using food to comfort my life and I want to record them all so I can process things.

For example, why are there so many darn food commercials on TV, MAN! It's like every other commercial is about food. I don't have Netflix or some of my other movie outlets so I've been watching movies on TV and wow I definitely know why we are a nation of people with a few too many pounds.

Another example, I'm driving to work today and the commute was awful :/ As I'm making my way to work I think, "Yes, I'll just pop in the Mcy D's drive thru, because I ended up on surface streets to get out of traffic, and get me something for my stupid commute... now mind you I been on this fast for 5 days already, yet as soon as I hit a rough patch I wanted to plug it with food! Yep, old habits die HARD!

On the positive side, I see a small but noticeable difference with how I'm thinking about food and how my body looks after 5 days, it's encouraging.

Almost two years later this is still great advice

I apologize I've only been in my padded room and not ventured out much yet to catch up on everyone. I'm mostly posting when I have a break at work because my evenings are pretty full.

I FINALLY had a break through today with my hunger pains. OMGoodness I was so hungry last night I couldn't sleep. I had to get up and fix myself something to drink I made a big glass of water with my lemons and such, drank it till I was satiated and still had a bit remaining. I covered it to have in the morning and I think that made all the difference.

Since I'm always on the go, I don't usually have anything first thing in the morning... Not good.

I felt pretty crummy yesterday. I'm happy to not be feeling like that today. *whew*

Hey lady, you're doing so well sticking to your fast. I did one earlier this year so I know too well what you're going through LOL. You're almost near the finish line..you got this! So happy you're back and posting when you can, you were greatly missed.
