Hi Jess! I'll miss you when you're out...so when are you going to weigh so i can be motivated to get my percentages higher. Today was a bust for me...but probably still under my carb allotment. I had lunch with my friend and ordered an omelet with avocado and creamy sour cream sauce on top with bacon...mmmm. I busted it with fruit...my body is really craving fruit today...so, I'm following my body's wishes....for fruit...not for doughnuts...lol!

Hey, friends! I'm back in America--having eaten and drunk everything in sight, but tomorrow I'm climbing right back on board. Missed you guys!

I'm kinda thinking I may do a steak day tomorrow, to ease back in, then FF starting Monday morning.

You go, Jen. Eat that fat, girl!

Home!! We missed you, too. Enjoy your steak day or whatever you end up doing. I'm in the midst of a rogue P2 myself and waiting for my new pellets to arrive. See siggy for my current progress.

Rest up and enjoy the comforts of home.

Morning, world. I slept badly and wish I could've slept in, but I promised to go to church this morning, since there are no sopranos available to sing today except me.

I started the day with coffee with cream and a cheddar bratwurst. (No time to thaw and cook a steak.) I plan to have steak for lunch and dinner, and then start the FF tomorrow!

Later!

I'm sorry you had a cruddy night's sleep, Jessica. I applaud you for dragging your fanny into church to sing for the Lord when no others could make it. May you be richly rewarded with a wonderful rest tonight. Enjoy your steak and then FF'ing after that. When do we get to see pics of Mexico and hear how it was? Hmmm?

I did not take a single photo in Mexico, but hopefully Hallie will send me some of hers to share. Since we always go to the same resort, we've kinda run out of new things to take pix of!

I did a little bit of grocery shopping this afternoon and am ready to resume the FF tomorrow! I got in a good rhythm week before last, and was enjoying, so I'm going to take up right where I left off!

That makes sense. I wouldn't take pics of the same place year after year either. Enjoy getting back into your groove.

Morning, Jess! So glad you were able to enjoy yourself and know what you have to do to get back on the train again! I'm going to do some low calorie days to hopefully take off some bloat and water after my drinking...i can stay away from the sweets, but not the alcohol!

Good morning, ladies. Jen--I totally hear you. I drank so much on my vacation....because, well, that's what we do on vacation. And a lot of it was margaritas, which are sugary. However, one good thing is that there, they make them with fresh limes. So at least there's no bottled mix. And my eating.....oy, not good.

But today I'm off to a nice start on my FF. I've had an ounce of cream and two pork sausage links, and am at a nice 87% fat.

I know what to do. Now I just have to do it!

Oops--forgot to mention one sad thing--when I unpacked my suitcase, I found that my bottle of hcg1234 had somehow come open and the entire thing leaked out. Luckily, it was in a ziplock bag, so it didn't leak all over everything in my suitcase. But it is gone, and at 25 bucks for the bottle, still deciding whether to replace it or to order some "real" hhcg on the internet.

Oh Jess! I'm so sorry that happened. I would definitely go back to the real hhcg pellets, though. Why mess around? Let's get-er-done! I am still waiting for the ones I ordered to arrive. I hate that they didn't give any indication how they were being shipped or an ETA for them. Grrrrr! I'm running low on the old Vox pellets and I hate the other brand I bought months ago. But I will do what I have to do.

Have a great day!

I'm also halfway contemplating going to a clinic and doing Rx hcg. Then again, I had such great success with those Vox pellets on that first round.

Hmmmmmm.....what to do?

Well, I replied to your FB message and it's rather disappointing. Quite infuriating, really. I don't know where to get Vox pellets anymore. The website said Vox but the bottles are brown and the pellets are large and ivory in color, just like the last bottle I bought. I'm calling to scream at somebody (politely) tomorrow and then shipping them back for a refund. There had better be a refund or I might go postal.

The last bottle of Vox pellets I bought had no hcg at all listed on the label. I don't know what the deal is with Vox nowadays.

Good morning Jess!! Sounds rather disappointing about the pellets. I have never taken the pellets only the drops. Just humor me; but why would you use HCG 1234 when it doesn't have any HCG? I hope your fat fast day went out well. I overdid it; not by much still within my 1200 cal window, but was hoping for less. Oh, well, I was very happy and full

Well Jen, supposedly, it has amino acids and minerals and such to imitate the effects of hcg. I bought it because someone I know here at LCF was using it and said it really killed her appetite. Gotta fess up the truth, here--I've never really been sure if hhcg really does anything or if it's just a placebo effect that helps us convince ourselves to stay on a 500 calorie diet! (Know this is blasphemy to some, of course....)

At any rate, I seem to lose about as fast with the fat fast and no drops of any kind, so for now, I'm just going to apply myself to that for a while!

I've start today off with coffee with HWC and two fatty pork sausages topped with a "gravy" of HWC and the sausage drippings! Yum--and 87% fat!

I'm at home hanging out with various installers and technicians all day today. Switching back to DirecTV from cable. Will check in later!

Does it kill the appetite? as well as the FF? Just curious! I am right there with you regarding placebo effect. Anyone can lose eating 500 cals

You have to be sure it says something like 6x12x30x60. Otherwise it has no hhcg in it. They are so dog-gone tricky! I hate that!!!

BLASPHEMY INDEED! After all that those little pellets have done for you, you chock it up to just eating 500 calories and the psychological boost you get? Good grief, woman! They work. It does just what they say it does and we who have broken through set-points that held us captive for decades know the truth. Shame on you. You know I'm just kidding, right? Well, sort of.

Hope you enjoy being back with Directv. I will email you with the latest I have found on the Vox pellets.

There's nothing WRONG with the power of the placebo effect, though, right? If it works, it works. Who cares if the mechanism is physical or psychological?

I am now at 800 calories and 87% fat. I'm in my groove!

Got my new internet, phone and tv all installed. Now I'm off for a nap--I tossed and turned horribly last night...think it was because I was vaguely worried that I might not hear the door at 0-dark hundred when the DTV guy was supposed to arrive.

I hope you get a good rest tonight to catch up on your zz's. I'm glad you're in the zone again, too. Congrats on getting "all hooked up" with all the technological junk. That is always such a hassle. Glad that's behind you.

Sweet dreams to us all!
