Amber, it is a universal truth: Eggs (and salads!) ALWAYS taste better when someone else makes them for you.

How are the kettlebells, do you do a specific workout with them? I'm afraid of hurting myself you will soon come to find out that I am numbero uno klutz! |

I love the kettlebells! I'm doing the Iron Core dvd, and it's the perfect workout for a lazy fat woman. I'm not so graceful myself, but with Sarah Lurie's instructions I haven't felt in danger of hurting myself at all. I like the workout and I feel badly I'm all off kilter right now and unable to do them!

I'm not even dumb enough to attempt doing weights at the gym and risk lookin like a crazy lady! LOL |

![]() It just started to pour rain - will have to make a slight change of plans as I don't want to get soaked walking down the street!! Dinner out for the next 2 nights - should be fine as I can choose what to eat! There will be yummy wine, though, and I don't say no to that. I am definitely in a maintenance mode at the moment, but that is OK. Have a fun day with your son home and the rest of you who have children home for Christmas. Just enjoy them to the fullest...... Hugs to ALL ![]()

Oh Ang it is true, eggs and salad!!!! Like I love a salad out mine at home are so uninspired, I move at WW speed and never take time to make nice stuff, Tony takes forever but it looks nice, LOL During the week though it is hacked up garbage on a plate, tonight I was trying to conserve utensils, it is a thing I have, Tony dirties like every darn pot and untensil-I tell him he needs pot management, LOL So I had meatballs flying all over, LOL Bobby is like maybe you need a better spoon? LOL
The Fire Companies around here have Santa on the Fire Truck OMG if I hear those screeching sirens one more minute I am going to scream!!!! LOL Santa is going to be deaf soon! It has been 2 hours, no lie! I was going to ask what happened with the kettle bells, but was giving you a break til Jan, LOL I am not the picture of strictness with the eating,so I am in no position to bust chops!!! LOL But as I said on another thread, it is freaking liberating to eat a little here and there and know I can maintain! A lifetime of hiding eating, and being the fat chick everyone is watching, then a year of deprivation it feels good!!! I have to control it and keep exercising but a cookie here and there, I am not feeling guilty at all!!! As long as I dont bake them, LOL

Amber, I think I resigned myself to the fact that I am probably not going to lose a thing between now and new years... however, maintaining is totally doable. i'd be fooling myself if I said that I wasn't going to touch any of the stuff passing through here.
But, I know you're comin for me come the first of the year and I'm ready! ![]() |

You girls!
I know, I know, no kettlebells-- with my son off school it just throws everything out of whack. Something has got to give, AND IT IS NOT GOING TO BE THE FOOD. Mean Girl will be sure of it. I am forgiving myself the exercise until kid's back at school, BUT NOT THE FOOD. I will not, cannot, and won't eat non low carb food. I will ease up on xmas eve and xmas day with some homemade low carb desserts, but other than that I CANNOT BEND. I really do remember that one taste is the kiss of death for me. I've proven it over and over I can't handle moderation and just getting back to business a la Amberkins. At this stage of my fatness it is impossible. My Hormonal Parasitic Fat Blanket is still too big and can control my brain and make me swallow Janet's Fukitol Pills. Maybe when I'm at goal and the HPFB is too small to control me I may be able-- but until them NO NO NO NO NO NO. Not going to happen. I am actually fine on my current roll, and am looking forward to some low carb desserts! Damn Parasitic Fat Blanket will not control me. |

MEAN GIRLS RULE! Getting mad at and being mean to my Parasitic Fat Blanket has really helped. I will not feed the parasite! I am starving it! I'm so mean.

Weight:
255.2 -24.8 pounds from highest 280 Plan Today: Atkins: OWL, day 21 3 generous meals No snacks Plenty of water Exercise: Nothing Vitamins: Rainbow Light Women’s One X1 Rainbow Light Cal/Mag X2 Nature Made B-Complex X1 NOW Amino Acids X4 Carlson’s Lemon Flavored Cod Liver Oil- 1 tbsp Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar-2 tbsp Nature’s Way efa-gold Coconut Oil- ½ tsp Breakfast: Black coffee (Freshly ground, French press, San Francisco Bay French Roast from Costco) 3 egg scramble w/ butter, 3 slices chopped Costco Hormel pre-cooked bacon, mushrooms, green onion, julienned Costco Earthbound Farm Organic Mixed Baby Kales, grape tomatoes, Trader Joe's shaved Parmesan/Romano/Asiago Cheese ![]() Lunch: 1 can Costco Albacore Tuna mixed w/ mayo, garlic, dillweed, cracked pepper, Gertie’s Finest Artichoke Tapenade (Costco) Celery & English cucumber sticks ![]() Dinner: Chicken breast (Coscto frozen individually wrapped) baked with garlic, salt & pepper; diced and added to Trader Joe’s Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce (Jar, 3 carbs per ¼ cup) w/a little added heavy cream Ladled over a bed of wilted Costco Earthbound Farm Organic Mixed Baby Kales HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ![]() Did I Snack? No. Did I Drink Enough Water? Yes Did I Feel Good Today? Yes Did I Sleep Well Last Night? Yes Did I Take Care of Business Today? Not really, a little—MUST GET IT TOGETHER! TIME IS RUNNING OUT! Did I Waste too Much Time on the Internet? Nope Do I want my golden years to be stolen by frail health and immobility? NO! Do I remember that a simple planned camping trip “cheat” punted me into 3 months of struggling to get back on plan, feeling like crap, and regaining nearly all the pounds I just spent a whole year losing? YES! Am I still damn mad, focused and determined to do what it takes to regain my Glamazon status? HELL YES! SCREW BEING FAT! I’M DONE! Notes: *The baby kale mix was new at Costco—can you tell I’m in love with it? I ate it twice today. I’ve never had much kale—a little in a salad, always fed it to our big iguana when she was still with us (She died of old age (11 years old!) just after our son was born—she was a big one! Very well loved, too!) or some in juice when I go on a healthy veggie juice kick—but never really as part of the meal. I LOVED IT! Much like spinach, but had more to chew on. So great with that curry tonight!! Husband and son liked it, too. My kid ate it raw, though—he won’t eat any greens cooked, but raw? He’ll shovel them down. Fine by me! *The curry was a winner! I wanted to add more coconut cream to it, but didn’t have any—so used regular cream. Note to self: buy again, with coconut cream! Easy quick to fix meal, took very little effort. Just the way I like them! *Artichoke tapenade in Tuna: AWESOME! Successful Day Count: 21! |

I know, I shouldn't complain that we are busy with lovely friends, but restaurant food is not what I can make at home. Oh well.........My clothes still fit, but I am not buying anything smaller and I would really like to do that!! I know you said you would be in Hawaii for your relative's first anniversary. I can't remember the month when you were making the dress. When will that be? It is really really windy here this evening. I am cuddled up under a blanket - almost unheard of. We have all of the fans turned off. "See" you all in the morning!! Hugs ![]() |

Thank you thank you thank you Ladies!
(Meg, I've only lost about 10 pounds the past 3 weeks-- the 280 was my highest ever last year, and in early November I was pushing back into the mid 270's-- but only 10 has come off since I started counting the successful days three weeks ago!) |
