Wake up Ang!!! Even I'm up! LOL Enquiring minds want to know. Was Carnac right? Crossing the fingers!

Amber, I agree...my body did the same thing. Certain places the losses stopped forever it seemed (not as long as poor Ang though ), then it would just start again suddenly. I think mine wants to stay here for now. Weighed in AGAIN at 148.9! Another set point I believe. I think (mine at least) bodies want set points to go back to. I believe that "if" I were to regain....I would gain to these points, then regain to the next, etc. NOT DOING IT THOUGH! Don't want my mouth stapled! LOL

Awwww shucks, ladies. Carnac was ALMOST right! 246.6 again this morning. Not mad at it! I am NOT, I repeat: NOT in the 250's and I am grinning ear to ear about that. This is about the right time for the infamous post induction stall-- and let me tell you, a stall in the 240's is so much better than a stall in the 250's! I'm delighted with my progress. I've been in the 240's for several days now, and loving every moment of it. Now I'm gunning for the 230's!!

Sorry I was late this morning-- had to get my son to his dental cleaning and to school before 8:15-- success! Then dog walk and breakfast with my mom. Now I can chill and figure out what to do today-- I forsee a lot of mopping.

And hey! If Amber hadn't been hogging the Poo Fairy with her senna tea, Carnac may have been a winner!

OH NO, Amber! Yeesh, that sounds awful. Hope you are feeling better!

Tiggy I would cook anything for you! Witchety grubs, snake guts, roo tail, koala noses, whatever. Australian Slop in a bowl!

The picture was from the last Ren Faire, I put it up to remind me of summer and inspire me to get creating! I was actually 10 pounds heavier in that photo than I am right now, but so what? OFF WITH HER HEAD!

Here's some more pics from that Ren Faire-- I was 254 pounds that day. (Yes, I was recording everything!) Today I tried the gown on, and I can actually pull the bodice completely closed. (It's supposed to be open like that, but I can close it! Wow!) The gown needs some serious remodelling, it was my first Venetian and I have since learned how to really make them. So, before the next faire I have some revamping to do! And I have to make it smaller!

That's my husband, he's game to wear anything I make him... but I'm a kindhearted woman, so I made it as badass and manly as I possibly could. He looked good, I think! You can't see too much of the detail, but there was couched braid trim all over that thing, it looked fantastic!

Angela - That dress is amazing, you are so talented! That is a great outfit on your husband too. How tall is he? He looks to be a little taller than you in the pictures. My husband is just barely an inch taller than me, and I'm so glad. Towering over men I dated was the only thing I've ever disliked about being tall.

LOL I love tall men as well since I am amber's height. BUT, I keep dating shorties the last few years. I still wear heels though. If they are that insecure, I don't need em!

LOVE the pics. Fantastic dress - very flattering on you actually. The pearlish waist is done really clever. The hubby looks HOT, but then I have a thing for men in puffy sleeves that look like pirates. Yarrrr!

Love the dress! You look fabulous in it! So much talent! Your DH is smokin'!!! Piratey hot! You make a cute couple!

Not quite as tall as you girls (you make me feel short...I like that for a change!), I was lucky that DH was 6'! Met him when he was seated. Never got to see him stand up until the 2nd meeting. Lucked out there!

Lunch and Dinner today:

Okay, so it was an Inductionesque carb eating day—but I made my food how I wanted to eat it, and that’s all it added up to! Okay then! I celebrated my 245 by eating the most salty food I could find, guaranteeing a waterlogged weigh in tomorrow. THE SABOTAGING JACKASS LIVES!! Just kidding. Maybe.

I had a sugar addict’s nightmare today. It was the last day of school, and my pastry chef friend (I KNOW!!) gave me a handmade beautifully frosted CAKE today , as a gift for watching her daughter one morning a week while she took a cake decorating class – natch. It was just so gorgeous and it smelled so heavenly, and I had to just gratefully gush over it--- but secretly inside I was crying a little. I had to walk all the way home with that thing, held out carefully in front of me like I was about to sing a dirge. Once we got home my husband LAUGHED at me! It was pretty funny. Later I walked it next door to the neighbors and they were delighted to have it. (My husband doesn’t like cake. CAN YOU IMAGINE?? He doesn’t like cake, so he just doesn’t eat it. I wonder what that’s like??? It took every fiber of my being to not plow my face into it and scoop it up with my mouth and destroy it like an animal... ah, the good ol' bad days.)

My positive for the day: 245 this morning! I’ve been high fiving myself all day. I am officially gunning for the 230’s!! I haven’t been in this position for 5 years.

Great job passing that cake along to the neighbors. I would have wanted to cry too!
