Great work glammy!!!!
![]() You're so smart. It took me at least a couple of sessions to get my weights right for those pyramid stack sets. It is awesome that it goes fast. The HIIT cardio feels like your dying, but its only for 20 mins. Have fun with that. And oh fellow excel lover, you can sooooooooo play with excel for those workout numbers (if you write them down like me to track what weights to use when). You get to see how much stronger you get - its pretty motivating to watch the numbers go UP. Happy sewing n stuff ![]()

Good evening!
Amber-- yep, gotta make a habit. Gotta gotta gotta gotta. I feel like doing some work-- that one year date is coming and I'd like to have a little more to show for it! This is the VERY FIRST YEAR OF MY LIFE I HAVE NOT GAINED WEIGHT. Seriously, I was 150 in high school (a skeleton for sure) then made my way up to 175 in college (still a skeleton) and then BOOM the weight started piling on after getting married. Sheesh. Not yet, Seabreezes-- but she has the toile and has sent pics-- so now I know what needs to be tweaked and can get busy and finish. How was your lovely day in Hawaii today? I am so jealous of your husband's hikes! Hiya Miss Latte! What's brewin'? Thanks, Tig! I'm hardly smart-- I'm just doing the barest minimum to get a little hint of muscle failure. Yeah, even the cardio tomorrow will be laughable to someone who REALLY does HIIT training. Oh well, I have to start somewhere. I really do need to shed the lazy do-nothing portion of my personality. I never had it before I was fat. Gosh, do you think there is a correlation? I'm going to video call Gary Taubes and give him the sweet shimmy shake I usually reserve for Dave Grohl. I didn't say pictures, Martini-- did I? maybe it was YOU. I know you are dying to show your pretty face to the ladies! And I know for a FACT you are pretty! Hi Stephanie! Hi Labmini! Hi WriterLaura! Hi everyone! ![]() |

Weight: 249.2
Exercise: 40 minutes BFL weight training, upper body: Day 1, Week 1 Evening dog walk Supplements taken: emergen-c lite, Bragg’s apple cider vinegar, multi-vit, cal/mag, b complex, CLA, Cod Liver Oil, extra virgin organic coconut oil Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs, 3 sausage links Lunch: Salad w/ romaine, salmon, blue cheese, bacon, avocado, cucumber, ev olive oil & wine vinegar Dinner: crumbled ground beef w/ onions & parmesan; romaine & avocado Well, I had a very successful day. Busy busy day. Good day. Tired now. My Positive for the Day: realizing that I really do need to be on some kind of “program” and not just freebirding it. Here I go again! |

I agree that it helps to have a 'program', I seem to be more focused and driven when I have a plan and stick to it. The downfall of that is time - sometimes I just get so busy that I can't track and write down everything I eat. It's all on plan but I just can't ****** it all!

Today was beautiful here. Went for a water workout and the eye doctor with hubby. He has cataract surgery on Thursday.
We had leftovers from the last 2 nights of company. All legal food. Tomorrow is hair cut day and errands. Hope to get a swim in or gym between errands. The weeks seem to speed by.... Sweet dreams everyone and hugs ![]() |

Looks like a great day, Angela! Having a program is good! I hope you have another great day today!
Seabreezes - When I was working out at the gym on Sunday I watched something on TV about Hawaii. It made me envious of you. |

Glam- sounds like you have a great plan! My recent success (can I call it success its been 2 weeks!) with exercise has come from following the Firm 90day rotation but not using all Firm tapes so I don't get bored.
I need structure I just can't conform tooooooo much! I really like your idea of VLC all week and once "cheat" day of berries, cream and greek yogurt. These are all LC things that I miss as well and can throw me Thanks so much again for your advice on supplements! I am on Day 2 and I didn't have any stomach trouble at all and I am taking a LOT of vitamins for me! Good luck with this new plan! We are all here to cheer you on! WOOT! WOOT! ![]() And hello to everyone else I've missed hangin around these parts!!! ![]()

Amber- Vegas was good- good food for sure! You have picked the perfect place to get married! It is lke Disney world for adults! Even for the short time I was there I got a nice feeling from the city.
I did fine there food wise a sugary yogurt was as far off as I veered- weight wise I am in a giant stall since restarting- NOTHING is moving- hoping its because I am consistantly working out so maybe its muscle? Sorry for the thread jack! Glam I forgot to mention I think I may have stumbled my way into making slop for dinner last night! |

Good morning, Ladies! Just got back from the gym, I did my 20 minutes "HIIT" cardio. The "HIIT" is in "air quotes" because LOL at the "intensity" portion of that acronym. I used the treadmill today and just started at a slow walking pace and bumped the speed a level every passing minute. I made it to 3.9 at the 17 minute mark before deciding that was enough and started bumping it back down with every remaining minute. Wasn't quite following the BFL instructions, but I'm happy with the start I've made. I actually pushed myself a little, so that's something I've not done at all this year. I sweat, I had tingly thighs, I downed my entire water bottle before I got back out to the car... AND I DID IT.

I found doing HIIT on a treadmill a bit tricky since its one minute intervals and the damn incline took forever to raise (speed worked a bit better though). I preferred the elliptical for it, and increased resistance and revs to get that heart rate up there.
Doesn't matter if you're doing it perfectly love, its your first week and your finding your feet on your new program. Pushing yourself is a WIN!! Your a winner (weiner) ![]() I wanna see pics of the martini! /jealous |

Wellllll I have cooked two days in a row!!! Turkey chili and today turkey wings and crack slaw!!! THANKS GLAMISHA!!!! The BBQ sauce came out....interesting...LOL I have some left so maybe I will stop at Costco tomorrow for a birdie and do pulled chicken in the sauce!!! I have 3 wings left and more crackslaw. Taking it one meal at a time is going well. I had 3 mini cake chunks at a luncheon but other than that...an good day. Drinking 3 L of water is not easy. I have hatter feet so I appear to be retaining water. Oh Joy! But I will keep drinking it!!!
![]() I don't not post pictures because I'm not pretty...(* *EYES BATTING*DIMPLE POP*SMILE) Thank You!!! I don't like my picture whipping around the internet. Angela, once again you've inspired me with your way of thinking through things. I think your new plan sounds great. Sometimes we have to mix things up a little to get to where we want to be.
