I weighed in this am at 189.3 - it's not a new low, but way better than 190s! I'm still sticking to plan and avoiding counting/logging. I'll prob have to wait until tomorrow for a run, so maybe do some arm work today. I also want to try 30 day shred but I'm worried about how it would affect my running.

Except for the jumping jacks it is mostly arm work, planks, push ups good stuff it should not effect the running too much

![]() Ceecee- You're lucky if you have it on demand- I may have to hit up WM. I have some kind of boot camp stuff on demand, but it's a killer- I swear it's a half hour of straight squats. I had to stop when I started running, my legs always ached so bad from it! |

squats are killers I swear anything that uses your legs and large muscles like that is deadly and squats can hurt your knees if you do them improperly my trainer kills me with squats I know I wont be running for 2 days after, LOL

I used to use the squating machine when I went to the gym... makes squatting much easier!!! I loved that machine.
I logged on to map my run and mapped my neighborhood. It is about 2.5 miles so I will venture out today and attemt to run/walk that route!! PRAY FOR ME!!! LOL |

I'm glad the day is over! Our realtor called last night asking for a 4-5pm showing today - seriously??? We haven't had any showing requests for like a month, and NOW, when the kids are quarantined, crabby and wanting to be lazy on the couch? I worked all day to pick up toys (over & over again) and do all the cleaning I've been neglecting since the weekend. DS2 followed me around crying cause he wanted to cuddle, and here I am washing fingerprints off the walls! GRRRR!!! We haven't heard anything about the showing, but if it had gone well we would usually have heard by now, so I did all that work for nothing!
And to top it off, I just found out that the mother of the kid I babysit (who gave us pox) PURPOSELY exposed him. I can even understand that, but to send him to daycare and a babysitter's when he has it and not tell anyone? I'm just a bit peeved, can you tell? When he came over, we assumed he was covered in mosquito bites, but had I known he had been exposed I would have been a bit more careful about things like putting toys in his mouth. To top it off, I've been battling the dreaded Diarhea all day. Needless to say, exercise is on the back burner until we're all feeling better. No worries though, I'm still on plan, and maybe this um, unintentional cleanse will result in a few lbs loss ![]()

I would be ticked too, that was rude that she sent him knowing what he had and exposing other kids like that, moron!!!!!
I have not had one showing in 6 months, I said to Tony lets just pull it off in Sept when our contract is up with the realtor and wait til after the holidays, there are 8 houses jus ton my block for sale and no one is buying anything! So here we sit, selling a house is so frustrating!!!! |

AAAAWWWWW Sorry about the house selling blues!! James wants me to sell my house... I look at him like WTH... are you nuts!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to build my equity in it because I got a great deal on it. Paid 95k and the tax appraisail is 146k.
Now she was wrong for bringing that baby out of the house like that. Some people think their job is better than their kids well being but I will leave work in a heartbeat if anything is wrong with my DD. Yea she is dead wrong for that move... I hope you told her off... I would have.

I'm not as mad about the pox today, what's done is done and I can't do anything to change it. I have a few weeks off (she's on vacation), so I'll re-visit the issue later. But I will def. make it clear that her indiscretions got my kids sick, and ask her to be more curteous in the future.
Yeah, our contract with the realtor is up mid-Oct. If we don't sell by then, we'll take a break till after the holidays too. It's just soooo frustrating ![]() We're still pretty under the weather today. I was up for a few hrs during the night with the kids, but we slept in till 9am so it was all good. I don't think I'll be able to run tonight - I still can't move too far from the washroom ![]() Have a great day ladies! |

![]() I KNEW there was an upside to not feeling well! (Of course, I'm sure it will go back up once I can keep food in my stomach...) Another advantage? I polished off that Ben & Jerry's with no consequences. So far, no fevers today- I think the worst may be over. ![]() DH picked up 30 day shred for me last night. Oh man, I tried it this morning and even level 1 is a killer! I didn't even finish - I'll try again later. More good news? DH found out today that a job he's been waiting for just came available! It would mean a nice promotion, and he has already been recommended by his managers so it's a pretty sure thing. Have a great day! |

GO DH!!!!!!!!!!! I pray he gets it!
I am going to try that 30 day Shred today if I make it home. I feel like I am stretched between three places... My house, James house, and the hospital with my BFF!!! Lord knows I have no time to exercise right now. |

Thanks Ceecee.
You must be exhausted going back & forth like that! You should try 30 day shred- I just finished and am sweating like a pig! (Maybe even more than I do when running!) I love how she mixes up the moves - 3 min strength, 2 min cardio and 1 min abs. It's much easier to get through something when you know there's only a few seconds left. And it's only 20 min- I think I'd like to try to do it every am before the kids get up or while they're eating bfast. |

187.8 (-.3) <----- New low!!!
![]() I'm feeling much better today, and thankfully so are the kiddos. I'm not horribly sore from yesterday's 30 Day Shred, and I did the whole thing without stopping this morning. Hopefully I'll get to run tonight, but I'll have to see how I am for time. I was at my sister's last night working on a wedding cake for her bff, and will probably have to go back again tonight. I'm super excited/nervous because I'm in the process of booking our first party! It looks like it will be pretty simple- a 1st bday, Sesame Street theme with a candy bar. Yay! |

Ceecee- I pray you`ll find balance in your life and be able to find some time to take care of you too.
I didn`t get to work out today- got about 10 min into Shred and the kids were hanging on me so bad I had to quit. I planned to get back to it later, but I ran out of time. Now they`re all sleeping and I don`t want to wake them up with all that jumping around. It turns out, this is no "basic first birthday" party. They have a guest list of almost 100 people! So far, they have TWO bounce castles, a clown, elmo, and a full buffet of food. Who does that for a FIRST BIRTHDAY??? ![]() The woman has to talk to her hubby, but it sounds like we`re doing a huge candy bar and very elaborate decorating. If we do it, I`ll def. take pics to post on our website. |

Yea take plenty of pics. I love seeing portfolios for stuff like that. Let's you know exactly what they can do. Well sounds like that is going to be a huge cake!!!
Well my friend is going back to Memphis... Something to do with her insurance so they are going to do at home care there. So even though I am sad she is leaving I am kinda relieved because my life will be a little simpler. Now if I can just get James to move into the house it would be all good. My coworker said this weight loss is more like the race to the ring. She thinks once I lose the weight James will have no choice but to propose because I will be fine and he won't wanna lose me!!!! We will see. Anywhoo, I am glad everyone is feeling better. Good luck to you and your sis for the first job! I know it will turn out great!! |

Our 1st party was cancelled
The day of the party is the same as my neice's baptism (same sister's daughter). The lady originally thought we could decorate the night before, but we can't get into the hall until the day of. She was really nice about it though, and will keep us in mind in the future. On the bright side, she had some fantastic ideas that we will definately use in the future. |

Yeah, and next time we'll be prepared.
Geez, I haven't been for a run in over a week! Between being sick, kids being sick, and all this party business I've been doing the 30 day shred every morning (this is day 4), but it's been a struggle to fit even that in. My 2 yr old has been wanting to cuddle non-stop all week - today is the first day all week he hasn't had a fever. Hopefully things will calm down this week now that everyone finally seems to be feeling better. I want to enjoy the last week of summer!Food has been good. Tonight, when my parents found out we couldn't make it over for dinner (didn't want to get my neices & nephew sick), my mom sent over homemade chicken stew in bread bowls. YUM - Gotta love Mom! I sat down to eat it, and ate just the "lid" of my bowl and a few bites of stew, but all I could think about was how many carbs were dripping off my spoon! I ended up swapping it with some grilled leftover zucchini & sausage. |

Yea Kristyn, I am kinda happy as well. I need time for me and my family. Thank GOD for Mom's!!!! That was sweet of her to think of you.. and good job on switching to LC foods instead. The running will pick up as soon as everyone is well. You are doing such a good job even trying to do the 30 day shred. I am going to the hospital today and Tuesday but only staying for a little while since I have to clean and do tons of laundry. I am also going to work in my yard so that should be a doozy!!!
