Yeah for tight buns, I am telling you hormonal stuff makes you all crazy that other girl that runs marathons said she cant do it when she is on TOM, so dont feel bad, look how long I was stalled and now I am moving again, it takes patience, I should not be preaching because I have none, LOL But it will all work out!!!

Amber- I'm so proud of you!

We got back from camping late last night. I was planning on waiting until tomorrow to weigh (I'm sure I'm really bloated from travelling) but couldn't resist, and am -.2 lbs!

We had an awesome time. It's a rough 10 min (20min with kids) hike from the car to the cabin, and we had to carry everything in. We made the trip at least 1-2 times a day, plus scaling a cliff to get down to the dock several times a day. I'm sure if I had skipped the junk food altogether I would have lost at least 5 lbs just from all the exercise!

I was worried about how I'd be eating since my mom was in charge of the food, but she amazed me. She even bought me atkin chocolates so I could have some treats too. Of course, I indulged in wine and smores every night, and ice cream when we went to town. I was on vacation after all
But man, we ate like kings! Steak, garlic shrimp, fire roasted chicken, and grilled zucchini & eggplant. Yum!

Tonight, I went for my first run in a whole week. It felt awesome for the first 10 minutes, then the heat hit me (99 degrees!) and knocked me on my a**. I made it 18 minutes before I was afraid I'd pass out and had to walk. After a few minutes I pushed for another 8, then staggered home. I've never come so close to throwing up after running.

It's supposed to be a really hot week, so I'll have to tough it out a few more times before I get some relief.

On the plus side, an aquaintance I saw yesterday told me how great I look, and how much weight I've lost. That feeling never gets old! LOL

Of course the compliments never get old, LOL I love them!!! Nothing makes you feel better than when someone notices your weight loss!

I know this heat is staggering, they have a heat advisory up until 8:00 pm and tonight is the night I go to the place for the boot camp with the guy that trains you for races, omg I am so scared I am going to have to run in this heat, and I am so afraid of puking,I almost puked last night after my intervals with the trainer, it was so hot and I was so sweaty I got home and I didnt even feel like eating but I knew I had to, I waited almost 2 hours to eat, really the running is not worth it in this heat, it is hazardous I think. I gotta make the 25 minute run, so I guess I will be going up on Thursday to the track, ughghg

New low today- 193.8

I finally got my water in, plus I probably sweated off those 2lbs while I was running. LOL

Amber- Why not just use a treadmill at the gym? I would if I had the chance. It sure beats the heat!

Cause I cant run on them <LOL You should see me I look ridiculous almost flew off I guess I could try it I think the running in the heat helps the conditioning though! You should have seen me at bootcamp doing sprints, the running was the easiest part, LOL Check my journal I have it all written out!!

Ya know that feeling, where you think you look really great, then see yourself in pictures and think, How could I have thought this was flattering? Well, today I had DH take some pics of me in a few different outfits so I could save myself the embarressment later. LOL

Usually, I avoid pictures at all costs. I felt so vain!!! BUT I did learn that one dress that I thought made me look huge actually conceals a lot, and the one I thought was great made me look 9 months pregnant! (In all fairness, I was really bloated.)

I'm really struggling with clothes right now because nothing fits right. Most of my stuff is too big (I know, boo hoo lol) but I can't replace my entire wardrobe every few months. I went to a bridal shower on the weekend, and was almost in tears trying to find something to wear. DH thought I was completely nuts. Will I ever hit a point where I feel good in my clothes???

Hun I know how you feel I hate my stomach skin, my thigh skin, I feel like the blob, LOL You need to go to Goodwill, yard sales, etc and get some cheap stuff to get you through. You are short, I am tall same issues with finding stuff to fit it sucks and when I was fat I knew a 3x would fit now I have no idea what fits, LOL

You look super in your new pic!

Thanks for the kind words Amber & Laura My biggest issue is my stomach. I carry so much weight in my middle, it's just really hard to look past it. If I was more proportioned I bet I could wear a 12 or even a 10. That's my goal for my bday.

I went for a nice run today. We took the kids swimming at my parents house & DH dropped me off 3.5k away so I could run the rest of the way. Aside from some minor wardrobe malfunctions (A bathing suit top is not a substitute for a sports bra!) and running into a pretty high wind, it wasn't bad. There is a long stretch of road that's so long, with zero houses that I swear it feels like you're running in place, but on really loose gravel. I still haven't finished this stretch without walking a minute or two This road is my biggest enemy!

My fitness goal is still to run the whole way to my Mom & Dad's (9k) by November, but I'm begninning to doubt myself. It's been too hot to get any decent runs in, and the max I've done is 4k - not even half way - and that was on a track, not uneven roads.

On a side note, TOM is due to arrive in a few days, and I haven't had my usual PMS gain. Not that I'm complaining, just sayin'. Actually, I've been peeing so much I'm starting to wonder if I have a bladder infection! Maybe there's another loss in my near future???

Awww, Don't beat yourself up over one stinking run. You're doing awesome! I'm the first to say that some days you have it, and some days you just don't.

I'm down 1.2 lbs today, and still going (to the toilet lol) strong. After a month of ups & downs, I've had three consecutive losses! I think I feel another one coming on tomorrow... maybe I'll get to say goodbye to the 90s soon.

Down to 190.9 today Over 5 lbs in the last week!

I had an awesome day yesterday. In the morning, I went to visit some family on my dad's side. My aunt didn't recognize me as I walked up!

Then went shopping, and all clothes were BOGO 1/2 off. I got a cute denim skirt (sz 14!) and a really cute strapless dress for $16 total I wasn't sure when I would wear the dress, but I couldn't pass it up.

Later, we went to help my parents & grandmother bring in the hay bales from their fields. I grabbed my old jeans (that were busting at the seams in Feb) and realized they were way too big! I actually rolled down the waistband so they'd stay up! LOL My mom wanted me to drive a tractor, but I was like, heck no! I want to be throwing the bales with the guys! And I did. I felt so strong and fit - not even out of breath.

We took the kids swimming to clean off, then DH suggested going to see Harry Potter. I bought the tickets online (practically free once I used my coupons) and we busted A$$ to get there in time. We literally had 10 min to get ready. My new dress fit perfectly, so I grabbed a shrug and we were off.

The movie was awesome, and I got to wear my new dress! Life is good!

Would you believe, even with the hurry we were in, I made DH take a pic? I'm so vain. LOL. Had to make sure the dress looked ok before I went out- Pictures don't lie like the mirror.

I tried using my mom's treadmill today...no go. LOL I did 10 min total, but hated every second of it. It was too narrow & I felt like I was tripping over my own feet. AWFUL! I came home and did some arm weights, push ups, and a dance dvd. It didn't feel like I was working hard at all, but I was sweating like crazy, so I guess I was. (It wasn't the heat- I was in the AC)

TOM has arrived. UGH. At least I can look forward to him leaving, hopefully with a bit of water. LOL. I just can't stop eating. Yesterday, I swear I ate an entire brick of cream cheese I really want to run tonight, but I can't bring myself to venture outside.

That would be a good one- arms, abs & legs? all at the same time. You are the fitness queen!

So....after my last post, I decided to go for a quick walk before DH had to leave for midnights. I ran 18 min straight and walked about 10. I'm pretty happy with that, cause it was still so hot. I was dripping during my warm up walk! I did notice that I was less winded than normal, not sure why.

OK treadmill sucks, I was going to town very poorly and uncoordinated I had to keep holding on, and my heart rate was like 168 I am like geez I am going to stroke out, so after excatly 10 minutes it shuts off see manager, rollers need wax, I am like WTH? So I rowed 20 minutes and did arms and legs! I feel like I am never going to get past 1.5 miles with this heat! LOL
