Thanks everyone - we are REALLY looking forward to the cruise. I think we will all really enjoy it.

278.7 again! It's not even moving by a tenth of a pound! We spent a lot of time playing outside with our son yesterday, and it is hot here. I lost track of my water intake and woke up thirsty this morning so I think I'm a little dehydrated. I have a hard time drinking all of my water when my routine is thrown off. I'll do better today.

We did get our bicycles cleaned up, tires inflated, and my son's bike trailer set up and attached to my bike so we can all go riding together! I'm so excited about riding my bike again!

I've got to get my first cup of coffee. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi Angela! I'm recovering the weekend.

Izzy - GREAT JOB!!!!

Hi everyone! Just checking in quickly - my son and I are off to a playdate in a few minutes. We had a great weekend, but it was not great for me eating-wise. I'm going to spend this week coming up with an attack plan to get through the weekends.

I'm back on plan today, and I'll be back tonight.

Get something really special to make that you all love and plan that for the weekends, like a nice juicy steak or something and pretty it up, gives you something to look forward to I must get through 2 more parties, so Saturday night I am getting one heck of a steak!!!

Amber - That's exactly what I'm going to do this weekend! Steaks on Saturday! I haven't had a good steak in a long time.

Last night wasn't so good. I was really hungry by the time dinner rolled around and I ate whatever I could find. I think the key for me is to never allow myself to get that hungry. If I'm mildly hungry I can make the smart choice, if I'm very hungry I just stuff my face. I think this is also part of the problem on the weekends - we get out of our routine and I'm going longer between meals and not eating snacks.

So today's goals - eat right, drink water, and don't get so hungry!

Just checking in to say I am doing good so far!

I have pork chops in the fridge ready to cook for dinner, and I think I'll make mashed cauliflower to go with it. After I eat dinner I'm going to go grocery shopping and get more delicious on-plan food!

Get some cheese sticks or I like those cracker barrell aged cheddar ones in 1 ounce portions, or almonds in single serving bags, pork rinds if you like them, celery with herbed cream cheese something snacky you can grab, being hungry is when disaster strikes, LOL

Angela - You are my induction inspiration!

I am so tired. I weighed this morning, and I honestly could not tell you what the scale said. I remember thinking it's down a little from yesterday.

Goals for today:
Eat right (carry snacks with me, start cooking dinner earlier than usual)
Water

I have Mommy & Me swimming with my son this morning! I'm really happy with that class. I've been trying to think of a place to take my husband for a Father's Day lunch this weekend. I'm intently studying online menus so I can pick a place with good food and go in there with a plan. I think we'll probably go to a casual restaurant he likes downtown. I can get naked wings and a salad. The important part is the plan.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Yeah I guess I better do something for TOny his daughter will be in Florida, every year his ex takes the kid to FL always over Father's Day, I hate that, he never gets to have her then, which he hates, so maybe a brunch so I can get eggs, or the Indian place, but I am afraid I will overeat, LOL

Woohoo - thanks for the magic Amber! I can't wait to see that number on the scale! That's awful that Tony's ex takes his daughter over Father's Day. That seems very cold to me.

Hi Janet!

Induction Day 2 of 14
Weight: less than yesterday

Breakfast: Coffee with heavy cream and splenda, sausage patties
Snack: mozzarella string cheese, pepperoni
Lunch: 2 hardboiled eggs, cucumber and tomato salad with ranch dressing, iced coffee
Dinner: pork chop, broccoli with butter and cheese
Snack: sf jello

Totals:
Net Carbs: 19
Calories: 1438
Protein: 83
Fat: 110
Water: 100+ oz

Exercise: 30 minutes Mommy & Me swim class

I took the next step at the gym! I talked to them about membership and spent a few minutes checking out the nursery. I also talked to some of the Moms in my class and around the gym and they were very happy with the nursery and encouraged me to join and use it. The staff of the nursery were very kind and loving, you could feel it as soon as you walked in. I also saw a lot of people of every shape and size today, so it wasn't as intimidating. I think I'm going to take a tour of the rest of the facility and if I'm still happy with it I'll join. My husband thinks it is a great idea. For some reason I feel guilty about wanting some time alone to work out. I don't know why, I'm usually not that kind of Mom, I get time away and I value that time. I think he'll have fun playing with different kids and different toys too.

If I join I need all of you to kick my butt if I don't report in that I'm going! If I join I have to go, PERIOD.

Weighed in today at 274.5! Amber's magic worked!

I went to book club last night, and the hostess had a wonderful array of snacks set out, including chocolate cake! Oh how I do love chocolate cake. But I just ate celery sticks and drank my water. Another friend in the group is following South Beach, and you can tell. She didn't have much to lose, but she has lost it, so that helped me to stay on track as well.

Our county library is having a book sale today so I think I'm going to head over there with my son this morning. Tonight I have a girls night out dinner a few friends, but I've already checked the restaurant's menu and I know I'll be getting a salad.

I hope everyone has a great day! TGIF!

Amber -Your magic wand works very well.

Hi Janet! Thanks, I'm glad to be joining all of the gymbalinas. I'm ready to be reporting on all of my hard work like Amber and others do!

Today has been a great day so far. I just checked the website for the restaurant we are going to tonight and they change their menu daily! They don't have as many salads tonight, but I will make it work!

My goal for this weekend is to hit 274.0 or less. That will be my true 40 pound mark, and I'm not going to let dinner at a restaurant get in the way of that goal!
