I love it - it's a good item for me to have around because whenever I get a sweet craving, I drink a glass for a fix and I'm full too!
I can find it here at one grocery store chain, and I'm thankful for that! You can go to the Hood website, and one the bottom of one of the pages, there is a form you can print and fill out to give to your retailer to request them to carry it for you. You might just be able to speak to a manager and ask them. |

I'm so glad it's Friday! Today is day 3 TOM, and yesterday I leaked out on my boss' chair in his office. OMG talk about mortification. So anyways, I remembered women from another forum had a thread about mentrual cups. I ordered one, and I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT TO GET HERE! I am so hopeful that my next period won't include me changing pants 2+ times a day.
Food has been okay, but my appetite has decreased some because of TOM and feeling bloated 24/7. Today's Plan: b- 2 scrambled eggs, cheese, coffee l- grilled chicken salad w/ ranch dressing d- not sure yet... I need to get to the store again this weekend for a few groceries. My best friend will be getting into town tonight, so I will get to hang out with her tomorrow. |

Hahahaha, wouldn't that be nice, but NO, he is a man. I work with ALL men at my job. But, he is kind.
BFF is still smoking some cigs, but she uses her Ecig too. She actually quit about two months ago with her Ecig, but she let some stresses push her to smoking a few cigs. She won't be bringing any cigs, so we will be puffing our Ecigs together. |

This Week's Weight: 207.5
That's a loss of 2 pounds from last week. I did eat pretty heavy on the fats over the weekend. This next week I am going to aim for a 3 pound loss. That means less fat added to my foods. I'm going to buy some more veggies, SF pudding, Hood Milk, and I'm going to leave steak off of my shopping list. OMG though I had two hamburger patties with a boatload of HWC onion gravy... It is soooo good and one of my top 3 favorite meals. It will definitely still be in my menu lineup, but as a special treat and more for maintenance. I was looking at my spreadsheet I've been using to track my weight and goals, and I need to lose 37.5 lbs to get to my goal by June 4, 2012. So, if I can lose 2 pounds per week, I can reach goal by that time. I know the closer I get the slower I will lose, so I'm hoping to lose 3 pounds per week for a while in order to allow for some slower loses later. Today's Menu Plan: B-coffee L- 1 hb patty, green beans, leftover steak D- Not sure yet Last edited by TexasMommy; 01-30-2012 at 08:15 AM.. |

Hey hun, good for you!!!! Did you get through the weekend smoke free? My aunt was at my house, I had to fumigate her like a bug, LOL I said go wash your hands, go spray perfume just hide that smoke smell, she did really good though she had like 3 smokes in 2 hours! OMG I thought of you girls, my Wal Mart had the Calorie Countdown milk again, OMG I was so excited I could bust, so I got a half gallon! Thank the lord, I love that stuff!!!!

Thanks Amber! Yes, I have been smoke free! My friend wasn't over for very long because she had some family issues come up. LOL, good job with your Aunt over! I am enjoying smelling nice.
I love the Irish Cream ecig cartridge. It's like dessert lol. I tried another flavor that I got and it tastes like Big Red which I've never really liked. Did you get the Chocolate CC or regular? I love the Chocolate! So, are you going to do more Induction level carbs? If so, what are you going to cut out? |

No I am not a big chocolate milk fan! I got the regular so I can make my protein shakes, basically the extra carbs were from fruit and like a piece of ezekial bread, a half a sweet potato, like nothing too much just trying to eat carbs pre and post workout, so I guess I will see how the lifting goes that seems to be the thing that suffers the most, and tomorrow I will try hot yoga on low carb and see if I get dizzy or not. Most days I was eating 50-70 carbs and I can pretty much maintain and feel good, but obviously something is messing with me, I ant go to the bathroom, I am gaining I thought it was the chantix so I quit taking that, I feel good not smoking! Its not like I was eating 100's of carbs so we will see if it just enough to make me lose again!

My son drove me nuts this morning LOL. He opens a drawer in the kitchen and pulls out all the dish towels, then opens a cabinet and pulls down my leaning tower of tupperware spilling the contents all over the floor. I should be used to this, it is practically a daily ritual haha. I love that I get to hang out with him in the mornings before work even if half the time is spent with me stooped over scooping up half my household items.
I can't believe that he will be 1 year old on Feb. 11. It makes me sad because he has grown so fast. I saw a commercial on TV that said "you have a child forever but a baby for only a year". ![]() Nope, I'm not having that - he is still gonna be my baby. His pediatrician told us at his last appointment that she expected him to be off the bottle by his 1 year appt. LOL, lady you can try and tell me how to raise my son all you want. Anyways, on to food. Menu Plan: B- 3 eggs scrambled in butta w/ cheddar and franks L- Grilled chicken salad w/ ranch S- SF Pudding D- Do not know (really need to go to store) |

Supper yesterday was not great but it worked. I found my Mom's recipe for Alfredo Sauce, and my daughter and I made it. It had a strange bitter "aftertaste". I think it may have been the roasted garlic. DD9 had hers over spaghetti, and she couldn't finish more than a few bites. She took it over to her Grandpa, so hopefully he liked it LOL. So, I had Alfredo sauce with ground beef and one chicken thigh and a tiny amount of leftover green beans.
Today Menu Plan: B- Leftover alfredo and meat sauce, 1 small chicken thigh, hood milk, coffee L- netrition chili and 1 cheese stick S- if needed, SF pudding D- ?? Still haven't gone to the store My ex will be coming over tonight to visit with the kids. I could say a million things about this but I will sum it up and just say "ugh". I have been seeing an old friend when I have time to (which is hardly ever), and I still don't know if anything is going to come of it. He's a good guy who works hard with his own business, but there are many times I text him and don't get a response. That bugs me. I'm a texter, and I don't like calling people when they can be busy working etc. He calls me sometimes when I text him rather that texting me back LOL. I understand he has a different preferance than me, but I have two children at home who can be LOUD as HELL in the background and I'm often just too busy to carry on a conversation. I texted him yesterday asking about plans on Saturday, and I never heard anything. He always says that his phone carrier sucks and he didn't get my texts... But when we are together, his phone seems to work just fine with people calling and texting. ![]() |

My daughter is 23 and i still feel the same way when she talks to her dad so it never changes. He was out of her life from age 11 until last year.
I am not a phone person either..never have been. My hubby laughs because he is a gabber. Your friend sounds like a busy guy...so are you all just friends or are you hoping for something more.. |

We used to work together, and I've always had a thing for him. A few years ago, we found out that we both liked each other as more than friends, but it wasn't the right time to persue anything. We are both now in a good place and we have talked some about starting something. I am really busy myself, and I feel like it is hard for us to connect though. I have reservations about everything too because I've been through hell with my ex - I have to keep working on that.

Hun he might be scared too, so maybe that is his way of dealing with it, I would lay off the texts and let him come to you, maybe if he sees you are too busy he might say hey I want that,I better get moving, I always make them do the work, LOL And like me they took texting off our phones at work now we have it but now we cant send pics, sometimes TOny texts me and I am like I didnt get it, then he checks my phone and he is like WTH is it, so I do know we have trouble with our work phones!

Here is yesterday's food totals:
Total Calories: 1630 Fat(g) Carbs(g) Prot(g) KCals 101.92 37.23 120.86 1630 Calorie Breakdown: Carbohydrate (9%) Fat (56%) Protein (35%) My carbs are higher than I thought they would be. Figures. It is probably the large amount of Non Dairy Creamer I use at work. I know that crap isn't good, but it has never stalled me - I will see about bringing at least some little half n half creamers to work. |

You know hun I notice our totals are similar, like 60% fat, 30% protein 10% carbs, I am thinking that is the key!!!! I use real half and half that fake stuff is evil, nothing good in it!!!! Heavy whipping cream is better but more expensive but you need such a tiny bit!

Hey - Yep, I think those percentages are working for me! I will buy some half n half to bring to work over the weekend. I know that powder creamer is crap, but it's convenient because it's here already at work - and I will admit that I'm lazy and just using it LOL.

Yeah I think I just liked eating my grains again, LOL But at least I know I can eat a little in moderation and maintain, but to still lose I gotta suck it up and eat VLC and exercise the crap out of myself, LOL I d think stopping the Chantix helped! Yes you must buy a quart of half and half, the powder stuff is pure evil!!!! LOL
So you got a big date, I am not even worrying about not smoking it is just life now as a non smoker, I love it!!!! |
