Thank you to all my wonderful friends here, I very much feel the love... and support. We had to make the decision to let him go on his terms. We took him off the feeding tube and that made him very happy. He was pleading with his eyes to remove it.

He can't talk clearly right now, but sometimes we can understand what he wants to say. It is frustrating for all of us though. We have told him that we are going to take care of everything, and take care of Mom and he seems at peace with that. He really wants to go home though. It is killing us.. we may make arrangements to take him home. Let him be in peace.

My oldest son from Colorado has decided to stay here with my Mom and help my nephew with the business. I am SO BLESSED to have such a wonderful family. I cannot even tell you. This will take such a burden of worry off everyone. She will have someone to fuss over and he can take care of her needs. Driving her around and whatever else. She was so happy, she told me she was relieved not to be alone.

All of the family is here now. I know a message board is not the place to be saying all this, but I feel better knowing that I can let it out, and that you will understand.. love you all..

Quick update. Hospice has moved him to their care facility. He's being made comfortable. We are still with him. He knows what's happening. he asked us yesterday what's going to happen. He told us he wants to go home
we had to break his heart and tell him he couldn't yet. The saddest moment ever was the look on his face.

He's still hanging on but it won't be long. We can hear gurgling in his lungs when he tries to eat or drink. He sleeps most of the time. They say it is almost over. I am so sad. Praying for a peaceful transition. Love to you all.
