My day has been stolen from me! LOL

One of the manager's is not here and while he deserves his days off and what not, he isn't allowed to do it ever again! I AM SOOOOOOO BUSY! I have to do what he does, what he didn't finish, and tend to MY boss *the vp* UMPF!! I'm tired!!!

Anyway, my update? Nothing exciting. I lost the 2 lbs I gained on my up day on Tuesday so pretty much stable right now (well this week). WOULD LOVE to lose. I will finish up the week as I am doing and start JUDDD the way you guys are doing it. LOW CARB!!!

I will read the threads but quick question for you guys doing juddd ala atkins, i see you keep your up days low carb but what about your down days? are those all low carb as well?

Well, I am off to swallow my lunch (soup and grilled cheese). I have 3 minutes to eat, finish up a report and send it off for our 2 o'clock meeting.

YOU poor girl!! HOW DARE HE!!! Well you just hang in there and get through the day... see you are such a great employee you can do 2 jobs!!!!

When I do a DD low carb, I keep it low carb/low cal. ( think P2ish ) without the fruit and melba. I do make different choices of course than what was listed, whatever I want low carb.

The thing is I am hungry still. So until Ketosis sets in, I go up to around 700 cals low carb. I find I can do that, while filling in some hunger with Low Carb soups... very low cal too..

Reading in the JUDDD forum I see that several others have gone beyond 500 up to 700 are are losing fine. They encourage you not to feel horrible, and if that means upping the cals, then do so.

Hey Pati. You sound like a busy bee over there. I know how that can be. Try to maintain your sanity, if possible. LOL.

I'm juddding while eating low carbs too. My menu on DDs consist of fat, protein, and veggies + lots of water.

Mine is supposed to be around 2000. If I can stay below that, I call VICTORY!!.... I just have to experiment some and see what that gets me when I eat low carb. I love FAT.. so of course that is calorie dense. If I can stick to 3 meals a day, I would be in hog heaven!!...

Yep, I live in Missouri.....

Good morning ladies!

Deb, hope you're not worked too hard..it's Friday

Pati~yesterday was crazy-busy for me too...they definitely made me earn my keep. Busy day today too but more paperwork due..my least favorite thing to do.

DD today ladies? It is for me...I have boiled eggs and ground turkey for lunch and dinner, not the most appealing but it'll keep me from getting too hungry. Had turkey bacon for breakfast, yeah..I'm probably going over 500 today....

Smart move, Shari. I'm sure you won't be that much over your limit. Do some jumping jacks for about 10-15 minutes this evening...that's a sure why to burn about 100+ real quick!

I DID work too hard, now I can't wait to get off at 1:30... boy I love Fridays!!!! I still have a couple hours of hard work ahead, but I will get it done and be home free!!...

I also had protein for breakfast and I had a homemade turkey soup for lunch. I like doing homemade because it TASTES better, has no chemicals, and I know exactly how much I am getting of what. Hang in there!!!

I'm here for like a second. Gosh, I wish I had more time

Haven't had a single thing to eat! Not cuz I am not hungry but because I am lacking time.

I weighed after an up day. Gained back the same ol' 2 lingering pounds.

Happy Monday Morning! Did a great job over the weekend with my eating.. well until a chocolate bar flew into my mouth last night.. However, I don't have any more of those at home, so now my mouth is safe from further onslaught.

Hope everyone is doing great!!! I shall return soon..

Morning!

Glad you did well this weekend with the exception of the chocolate bar!

I did HORRIBLY But honestly not worried! Back at it today. Low day today. Going to attempt my up days to be low carb BUT I will be honest and tell you that my low days may be difficult to do low carb only because I am doing soups. I have one for lunch and will have protein and veggies for dinner. Maybe Wednesday I'll do hard boiled eggs for lunch and meat and veggies for dinner. We shall see.

Girl you have a PLAN!!! stick to what works for "YOU!!!" If doing low carb on DD is not your thing, don't do it. You have had great success with your soups... Whatever works, that is my motto!

Deb~LOL at the chocolate flying bar..what else could you do to keep it from going into your eye? Hope your DD goes well too.

Pati~I agree with Deb, you've done well eating regular food so why change? Me on the other hand just couldn't get it together..went too far eating a bunch of junk. So low carb curbs all that. Good luck on your DD too.

I still have NO idea how I'm doing this down day. (I'm such a planner ) All I've had is coffee with h&h this morning (on my way to work) and have yet to eat. I'm not hungry either but that could be cuz I haven't had a chance to stop yet I have a meeting in 12 minutes, we'll see how I feel then if not too busy and hunger hits, I will go warm up my soup...Otherwise I can wait it out til I get home.

So as of this moment you can call it low carb down day since I have yet to eat?!?!

That is about as LOW CARB as you can get!!! = N o t h i n g... Don't get too hungry and get a headache missy!!..
