yea i was in houston...my sister ordered TWO red velvet cheesecakes! and she baked pumpkin and sweet potato pie...and i baked cupcakes. it was awesome! lol

So my UP day went well, but I am definately retaining water today.. I had some dreamfields and some flax muffins that were yummy. HOWEVER, they bloat me up like crazy... .should have known better... oh well..

Today is a DD... having some chicken breast and stir fry veges in chicken broth for about 160 cals for lunch. Also brought an atkins bar in case that doesn't tide me over for dinner. Broth also.

Anyway, hope all of you have a wonderful DAY!!!!

Ugh the bloat..it'll be gone by tomorrow. Menu looks good. Have a good one..it's hump day already!!

Hey Tyl, I had four UP days and I'm pretty sure I went over cals each and every single day..LOL. Sounds like you had some good eats and drinks!

Wednesday already? And here I thought this week would go by super slow!

Anyway, weighed this morning after an up day and by golly gee wiz, I gained 2 freaking pounds in one day of up eating!?!?!? Here I go almost 5 days eating anything I wanted and I only gain 1 lb. One up day and I gain 2?! I didn't even OVER EAT! I even worked out!!!

ANYWAY, down day today and not looking forward to it (at this point) but will do it
And the only reason I am not looking forward to it is cuz I felt like crap-o-la on Monday with the headache. Hoping today I don't get one.

Hope you guys have a wonderful day!

AWEEE Pati!! that 2 pounds is nothing but water. You also exercised which retains water... you will flush that out today. Don't let that scale bother you at all girl!! PLUS you weighed after an UP DAY? are you nuts?...

I know you are just keeping track, but still... I also feel ya on the DD today.. .I am hungry already. Looking at that Atkins bar. It is 200 cals though, I am thinking of dividing it in half. Need something!!

Take care and don't get a headache!!! DRINK!!! lots of fluids...

I actually brought stuff to tidy me over and not be hungry. I was so glad I went shopping Monday night. It's good to have stuff I can reach for just in case.

I brought 40 cal cheddar flavor rice crispie (sp)
25 cal swiss miss diet chocolate drink
I have my 120 cal soup for lunch
and zero cal drink (flavored sprankling water)

At home I have more rice thingies, some pretzel flats that are like chips, i have popcorn (100 cal bags) and my hot dogs and bread and more soup.

Wanna know something? I forgot how EXPENSIVE it is to shop low fat/low cal!!! MY GOODNESS! I spent 50 bucks on barely nothing!

Anyway, I came prepared.

LOL Deb...if only!! I did well yesterday..lost 3lbs! I'm okay today..so far I've had an egg and sausage patty..LOL. I have ground turkey and more eggs if I get too hungry. I'm probably going to go over 500 cals but I'm okay with that..just not going higher than 700.

Pati~I agree 100% with Deb, you're probably retaining water and maybe sodium from whatever you ate yesterday. For sure it's leaving today being a DD. I realized this morn that I didn't buy anymore swiss miss so I have jello instead.

I know it's probably water retention but we all know how addicted we are to that damn #

I haven't tried the Swiss Miss yet. I have it as a "go to".

BTW - I know we should keep to about 500 cals on down days but honestly, I think I have been going over it? I am still not counting cals Well not to the tee. I try to keep my meals about 500 but remember I have 2 cups of coffee w/half and half that I do not account for. I know eventually I will HAVE TO do the counting, for now I'm good to go

You're on an up day right?

Nope, DD with you. I don't count the cream anymore...I can and did at first but for now I'm just trying to stick to the food portioin. Some days I can do lower or right around 500 but Monday and today aren't those days.

SoHappy posted a great comment in the 'introduce yourself' JUDDD sticky thread about the scale numbers...lemme check... it's post #484 if you have time to read it (don't want to copy w/o her permission).

Right?! It's of course what we know but it's good to read it. I especially need to keep reading it now because dreaded TOM will be coming soon with his water buddies.

I've gone back to low carb...my new phrase that I got from another poster here name Jane is that "I'm not grown enough yet" to eat whatever and stay in control. I saw that Leo had a lot of success doing low carb with JUDDD so I'm doing that now, at least to get into a lower range. I'm definitely going to try JUDDD just counting cals when I'm smaller.

Would love to read up on Leo's success. Is that their name on here?

I may (MAY) try LC on my updays next week. I would say tomorrow but I am REALLY looking forward to having a sub sammy from downstairs tomorrow!

I'll have to look her specific name up. I've read posts here and there in the JUDDD thread where others have mentioned her success and she comments sometimes. I don't see daily posts from here, at least on the JUDDD thread. I know she's at goal. Maybe Deb knows it right off-hand? I've got to go to a meeting for the next couple hours so can't respond until after....bbl...
