Hi Deb,

my name is Alice and I am from Hamburg, Germany. A few days ago I found your thread on HHCG. In the meantime I love you and your friends in your thread. Youīre always funny and very interesting.
As I learnt English at school (and now Iīm 40 years old) Iīm doing a hard job when I read your messages. So I really didnīt understand, why you stopped taking hhcg? It seemed to work out fine although you didnīt stick to the 500 kcal.?!

Iīm doing the hcg diet for 7 days now, and it works fine, as I lost 3 kg by now. But I know that I canīt stick to the 500 kcal any longer. It drives me mad...
I hope for an answer! And I will continue reading your thread - iīm kind of addicted!
Many hugs and kisses from cold and rainy Hamburg

Hello German_girl and welcome to Deb's journal. I understand about not being able to stick to 500 cals. However, there is a modernized version of the protocol called: Omaha Weight Loss, and it allows 600-700 calories per day + more variety of foods. Try to google the plan and see if it's a fit!?

Congrats on the 6.6 pounds loss thus far! Keep up the good work.

No problem... I'm thinking of transitioning over to OWL myself. I just feel better on more calories (plus 100 cals of popcorn is allowed ).

Yesterday out of curiosity I counted my Low Carb Calories.. my goodness, I thought I was really cutting back!!!. .I STILL ate around 1800 cals!!.. no wonder I am not losing this week....

Anyway, I guess as much as I hate it, I will keep track of cals/carbs this week and see how it is going.. I honestly did not think I was eating that much, but cheese, meat, cream etc... all adds up QUICK1!!!

Hope all is well with my peeps! Pati you looking forward to eating all the yummy goodness that will get you ready to go?... OH YAY...

Good morning Girls!

I'm on D3 and down 1.4 - total of 3.6 in 2 days. I feel good, but won't get too cocky. We all know that I bail after the first week . I'm going to stick it out this time though. I have too!!!

Deb, have you been able to atleast move the scale on 1800 cals? If so, that's good!!!

Good Job Meek!!! Stay strong..

Well last week, is when I lost, and what I did was cut my food in half almost.

This week, I just thought, well, if I can lose 5 pounds cutting my food in half, then I can eat more this week and still lose about 2 pounds... well I guess not..

I am just going to track and see what I am actually eating, and adjust from there... I don't really NEED 1800 cals, I can eat less, but I wanted to SEE it for myself...

I have been eating really well on Atkins...I may just stick to that for load days but more fatty goodness I will 100% stay away from sugar which I have been really good at for a long time now. I will just drink more of my dessert coffee Now that I think of it, I think I will be doing rogue diet. I can't give up the coffee w/cream  (you know my addiction to this Deb!)

That is a great loss Pati!! and to feel smaller is wonderful!!! WHY are you torturing yourself?.... Hummm.. cuz you want to?.... I am always tempted to try again, then I remember I can't go past a few days without caving and I have loaded for nothing.... oh well..

IF you are ready, then go for it!... Wishing you both much love and support!

Yes, I am doing Atkins.. staying around 30 ish carbs though, no more induction level... I do enjoy some fruit..
