Im excited myself. I think I needed this time away from it. I feel good, and I think I can go for the month like this. Don't want to pat myself on the back too soon. If I don't see any advantages of it to my different WOE, there's no use continuing, but I'm going to hang in there for about 10 days and see how it goes from there! Hope that it really does it's job lol.

I think that is a great idea! See how it goes and go from there.. but I hope it does something for you!..that would be awesome!

HIYA MEEK!!! wow am I one stuffed cookie. No, did not have cookies.....

Took my oldest DD out for her Bday tonight and really had a nice meal. Just too much FOOD.

Anyway, I don't think I will need to eat until tomorrow night sometime..

My laptop keyboard just really SUCKS!. I am typing along and nothing is showing up on the screen grrrr forgive my typos...

Everyone have a lovely evening! I will be doing a great work out in the morning, so I'll check in a bit later...

MORNING DEB & FRIENDS!!!

Feliz Cumpleaños to your DD Deb!!!!

So tell us what you had!?!?! I wanna live vicariously! LOL

I just polished a scrambled egg white omlette with green and yellow peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, cheddar, and 2 slices of bacon....NOM NOM NOM. And I am about floating in water right now (I make it a rule to drink no diet sodas during the weekdays. TOUGH! REALLY REALLY TOUGH to do!!!

)

Plans are to work my tooshy off like mad today (yup. upping that too). Squats with heavy weights and Zumba. (Zumba first tho to get the muscles warmed up - I was in utter pain last week).

Yes! My son's next contract is going to be in Manhattan and he wants to get an apt there with my daughter. Right now she cannot afford it, but he gets a 6000 a month housing allowance, so maybe they can find something...

Thank you Laura! I am actually kinda bumbed out right now, I finally saw the number on the scale after not weighing for 2 months or more, and I am ANGRY.. ok, I am angry not at the number, but that I let it anger me... crazy?... YES...

I had to go to the dr for an antibiotic, turns out I have a mild infection which is causing me to feel so ill... so I got weighed in.. after a long time exercising, and eating good things, I am STILL IN THE 180s!!! GRRRRRR

YES, I know that it means nothing right now, I have lost 2 sizes in pants, and I feel better, and I am stronger, etc.... I have also been so bloated up and drinking lots of fluids... but to see 185 on the scale, just made me mad.

Anyway! see how the scale ruins our lives?....it is true!...

Tomorrow will be a better day... I feel it...

Morning Deb. The scale will ruin our lives, if we let it. But, the important thing is that you've lost 2 pants sizes AND you are stronger!! Keep pushing....

You know I understand the internal battle of the scale number so no need to say..don't worry, it's just a number. I know that, you know that, we all know that but I also understand that it's a process to not let the number determine your progress.

Congrats on losing 2 pants sizes..that's HUGE! Feeling better and stronger is amazing too. It all comes together.

Wow it has been a few days! I am doing well, my weekend was full of moving the kids out!

Ok, my oldest DD made it safely to NYC and is in her new apt. She said her room is the size of our laundry room, but hey, It's NY!!!!

Good luck DD I am thinking of you!....She is on an adventure of a lifetime for her, so it will be all good!...

My 18 year old moved out with friends and all I have left is my 16 year old, but she has been over at the apt all weekend. PEACE AND QUIET AND A CLEAN HOUSE!!!!

We even made my 18 year olds room into an exercise room on the main level so no more excuses about not getting to the gym...

So now, I am going to buckle down and get serious about Atkins way of eating, and getting to my goal. I will be 55 in Sept and WOW.. I can get the senior discount.. ACK!!!!!!

Time is NOW for this to happen....

So hope all of you are having a wonderful day so far, and had a great weekend yourselves!... back at lunch!

I'm actually doing pretty good on Atkins Deb. I don't know if my body likes the more food or if its because I feel more relaxed and less stressed or what?!?! I've been eating tons of veggies and protein and good fats. Last week I managed to rid myself of 6.5lbs! I'm sure you'll do extremely well and be at goal in no time

Wow, you had a busy weekend. Your daughter will have some great adventures but she'll do well, especially with your son moving there.

I'm going to buckle down too and do Atkins as well. It's the only thing that I can stick with long term so let's do this together!

I am definately better off eating Atkins way.. my body just really responds better with no sugar. I may fight it at times, but I need to listen. I DON'T NEED SUGAR!!!! NO! ...

Trust me, I am sad when my kids go far away, like my boys and my oldest DD, but I have also had kids in the house for almost 30 years, and I think it is time for a break...

Not only my OWN KIDS.. whom I love dearly, but the neighbors, the runaways, the hoodlums, the kids I HAD to babysit because we were poor... ALL of them..

At least my younger girls are only about 4 miles away, and of course the youngest will be with us for the school year. I just want their POSSEE to stay gone..

My hubby and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday of peace and quiet... really nice..
