I agree.. Go Shopping! Don't procrastinate! I did that, and lived in baggy clothes for far too long.. And besides, you always have the receipt if you change your mind!

hey kitty, i hope it's ok that i'm "borrowing" your support for clothes shopping. i just don't see the fun in it at all...and i must have a new suit for an upcoming important event. i'm all "go to the store/pick a black one or a grey one/ok done" but maybe there's more to it?

Talk about peer pressure!!! LOL OK, OK...I will share my "treasures" when I get to go shopping again. LOL See, I need you with me Amber! Why aren't you on this side of PA!!! We could hit the outlets!!! You could be my shopping guru!!!

Oh, Jan...suit shopping....

I just had to got through another group of clothes I had stashed...yes, I had them stashed everywhere...I had tons of clothes!!! In every closet here! Back to what I was going to say....Came across a lovely suit I bought years ago. Never wore it! Now, it is too big (14T)...I am saddened because it is lovely!!! Wish it were my "new" size I need a shrinkersizer machine!

Eating funky today....LC...but not enough protein. Hungry for something, but I don't know what it is. Probably something I can't have anyway!

Trying to get ready for the wedding. Figuring out what to wear. Normally, this time of year, could wear short sleeves. With the crazy weather? Ughhh!!!

Weight pre wedding/Mother's Day dinner: 149.0 After:

For some reason, this song seems so appropriate right now! LOL

Back from the first wedding of this summer. I did well! Stayed LC!!! DH stayed GF I really couldn't eat off plan with him there eating GF. There weren't a whole lot of temptations though. The cookie table was at the opposite end of the room, so out of view. The choices for LC were very limited though. Had baked chicken (picked off the coating and ate what was not coated, cheese slice and deli cold cuts. More GF items available for DH. Mashed pot.s, corn, fruit salad...pie that he ate without the bottom crust.

Well, the couple did not do the rings. They did have music (DJ ish) and dancing (not many stayed long enough for this), no cake...several choices of pie instead...and children were there. She didn't seem to mind. Felt bad for them though. They had several problems. The speaker system was not working during the ceremony and then you couldn't understand what the DJ was announcing. Poor system They were doing a roasted pig, but it wasn't cooked in time for the reception. It wasn't done so I believe they somehow managed to eventually (after a long wait for the food) got the chicken. The building they had it in was chilly, no heat...quaint historical building, with no heat. Large doors that rolled open (think old fashion garage/barn type) that many left open as they came and went, so very drafty. They looked so in love though, and that is what really matters ...oh, no whoopie pies that I spied!!!

Now, to deal with the lovely dinner my DS's GF is making tomorrow. At least it won't be a weekend of eating off plan even if I delve into carb laden food tomorrow.

Wishing all the Mom's out there a happy Mom's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Kitty!!! Sounds like a wedding gone bad, that is a shame poor bride was probably stressed to the max!!!! I am back on track and not allowing tomorrows carb fest to deter me, I will be good if it kills me!

Did you go shopping yet? We might have to meet in the middle, LOL

I'm hoping the bride wasn't too upset. She seemed so lively and full of life! The parents were probably more upset. Forgot my camera here too. Will have to steal photos off of FB!!! LOL

Nah...no RL shopping yet. No time this weekend. I so need to though. Got rid of more from the closets! They are becoming bare!!! I love hot weather, but I'm glad (in some ways) that it is chilly out! I can at least still wear some of the warmer clothes until I get new summer/spring items. I would SO love to shop with you!!! If we meet up, we will have to do that! I have been going through VS's site since I got an email ad w/ free shipping offer. Am I ready for these sexy clothes? LOL Bought camisoles with built in bras from them in the past that I liked

Oh yes order from VS, I can pork into some of their dresses and they are really nice, they were having a 20% off dresses on line and free shipping, open a card I get all kinds of offers now. Still cant fit into their 16 jeans that is a goal, I like their jeans! I know the tops but too small for my heaving sand bags, LOL

Well maybe we can plan a meet up in a few weeks, I would love that!

Happy Mothers Day!!!!

Thanks girls! Happy Mother's Day to all of you

Went to dinner at my DS's. His GF was so sweet. She made GF versions of the stuffing and the cake for my DH along with the reg kind. Love that girl!!! If he doesn't propose soon, I will!!!!

I ate all the carby goodness she made. Tomorrow's another day! I can get right back on. I just hate to see what the scale will show! ...and fear like the last time...it will take a week to get off

I got my full usual workout in today! Yay Me for keeping up with it!

Sent my netrition order in last night. Bought black beans...guess what I'll be doing soon!!!

The sun was actually out and I wasn't at work! I could enjoy it! For real! Felt like summer for me (a bit cooler though!) Out with the sun on my shoulders working on the pool Spent part of my afternoon scooping leaves out of the pool. Got a 5 gallon bucket packed full for my efforts. Didn't want to be making sun tea in there when the sun comes out the next couple days!

Look around and see all my friends!!! So glad I found you all! Yes, that includes you over there lurking! Thank you for being a friend!

Still hard to believe I am "skinny" again...am I? IDK I guess the "fat girl" will always be here in my head.

OK, tried on some clothes today. At Tractor Supply. Had to get rabbit food! Tried a pair of Bermuda shorts on Uck! My calves are horrible! They are heavy and these emphasize it. I read somewhere about the weight coming off in strange places and not in others, then readjusting....hoping that happens!!! ...and no, I'm not exagerating...they are big proportionately. So, the Bermudas went back on the rack. Got a pair of jeans...9/10s Also picked up a couple shirts. Ribbed V necked Ts with hoods and short sleeves. Got a yellow and a gray. Just casual clothes that I can wear to work also for now. Will go give me a new option for some skirts. They will help get me by until I can do some serious shopping.

Didn't get my exercise in today. Give you all permission to kick my arse if I don't do it tomorrow! Was worrying that this is why my calves are so big, though I know that it probably isn't. I haven't been exercising them long enough to really increase them that much...have I? Maybe gravity is just holding my some extra weight there.

The sun was out almost all day...and I had to work Will be out again tomorrow...and I have to work It will probably rain on the weekend

The guys actually were talking about installing my transmission cooler in the Stang It is time for her to come out of hibernation! Summer... I SO need it!

Today's road music: One of my favorites....Something that I try to keep in mind....through the hard times, and there were many...this has been true...

But if you try sometimes you just might find....You get what you need

Wants and needs...knowing the difference makes a big difference.

Kitty love your *stang*. I never looked at your profile till I read Ang's post, you're very pretty. I have a swimsuit almost identical to yours.

Kitty- hello gorgeous, you are skinny and you look incredible, look at that pic with your dad, it is like a whole other person!!! 9/10's woman? That is skinny, you are a tall one, I can totally relate about stinking body parts that make you feel bad, arms, and my calves are huge too, Bermudas and capris are not good, I need shorter shorts or crop pants, that sort of takes away from them. I told you I asked the PS about hacking my calves, he said no one ever asked about that, LOL

Love love love the car!!!!! I love an old Mustang, I ama sort of muscle car freak too, my first car, a V8 Monte Carlo, black with red velvet interior, LOL

We have been having some beautiful weather, you will be in that pool soon enough

about body image...I can remember not liking my body from way, way back - too much of this, not enough of that, wrong shape, wrong color...etc. I'm thinking it's a society thing. I never look at others and identify "problem areas" but I do for myself. I imagine that no one looks at you Kitty and thinks "Oh my goodness that lady has heavy calves" I agree with the others, you are lookin good! Is your school out soon?

First: Thanks for the wonderful comments! You girls are too sweet! Love ya all

The jeans are boot cut, not skinny jeans bottoms Measured my calves...16 inches. Will see if that changes over time.

Amber: I remember a Doctors show where they did lipo I believe on a girl that had cankles. They made her calves/ankles more proportional. DH made me feel better tonight though. He was watching the biggest loser and said that one of them lost me. Then said they lost 155...I broke it to him that I'm at 149 these days...he said I will blow away if I don't quit losing From the guy that fell for me when I was 125ish. I just want to get in the mid to lower 40s. Then will maintain and see what happens.

Jan: Only if I wear the Bermudas!!! Thanks for the thoughts. I know they don't/won't....We do have a lot of issues handed to us over the years. I blame Barbie (the doll) I know that I have to be careful with this (body image issues) Thought I was too fat back in those days too. Sad...really sad...I understand how many tiny girls believe this. I did. Now, I look back at it and HOLY **** Girl! Society really messed us up.

I used to wear Capris everywhere in public before. I still love them. (They cover the wavy, bumpies left over still!) I am trying to get used to wearing shorts around here...then, maybe out in public some day:blush: Need a tan first! Whiter than white right now!

My "last" day will be the 10th. Can't wait! I need SUMMER!!! Can't come too soon. What a day...what a day....

Monte Carlo Amber Learned to drive (first drive ever) in a camaro! My dad's My heart is set on getting a new one. DH needs a new pickup first though.

Cleaned around the pond (watergarden) tonight after work. Boy does that river rock gather leaves!!! Not too bad now. Took off the net (to keep the leaves out during the fall/winter). Hoping to get the pump turned on tomorrow and my plants back in it. My fishies are wanting to play in the waterfall

Funny, was just about to look this up when someone on FB posted it for me. Must have sensed my thoughts about my ride! May have to have some pic.s like this done for DH with it!

Have a great day tomorrow girls! TTYL
