So, Ben's not broken...just sprained.

Feeling a bit upset/weepy right now. A couple of good friends are dealing with big issues from bullying. One is remembering what happened while young (why didn't I see this happening to him back then? I feel so bad that I didn't help now.) ...another is having issues with her daughter being bullied. Why are people so cruel? It leaves scars for life. Also having a moment thinking about my son and his diabetes. As typical for moms, wish I could fix it for him. I can't That hurts so deeply. As the saying goes, I wish he were little again and kissing the booboo would make it better.

AAAAWWW Kitty. I am sorry. Yes bullying is really cruel. There have been so many cases of it lately. I pray it gets better but honestly I don't think it will unless the bully's parents step in and see what is causing their child to do this to another child ie: family situation, insecure, ect. It is so sad that kids are killing themselves because of this... I pray that it stops.

The sun is out!!! Yay!!! It has rained every day for the past 9 days straight! Wow!

Lots of tall girls here, so you will understand this all too well. I am now worried about getting a premade costume. These are mini dresses, and many are designed for "normal" sized girls and often are a bit (insert the word that usually gets edited ) as many halloween costumes for adults are. This means that it may be WAY too short! Eek!!! Don't want to be mooning people! (and worse!) Going to investigate and see what I come up with. Now wishing I started searching earlier. May have to make/get one made from scratch. If so, I know that I will use it over and over since it is my era of car! I do like the orange, so if that happens, will go that direction!

They would be so unique, yet in style at the same time!

Good luck with the ebay dress. Diane has a good idea with the trim or you could wear opaque tights or something? I am sure the perfect thing will come up though.

The Ebay dress went sky high, higher than I was willing to pay without seeing it in person at least. A couple other ones are nice, but not in the US, so would take long to get here. I will keep looking. You never know what will come up. If it doesn't come together completely this year, then, next! I will be ready! I know they will probably do it again next year. I will have more time to find the perfect outfit too! I am getting the hair now though since I found it! LOL

Got the Stang out. It isn't running perfect yet, but running. Needs a bit more fine tuning. It only got hot when they were messing with the timing and had it too low. Was nice riding in her again! DH drove though since he was trying to get her running right and adjusting things.

Been neglecting my journal lately. I think that if I don't have a loss, no change, why write in it. I know that is wrong. I need to keep this going. It will help me see patterns, etc.

I am a bit down again today. 153.6

I expect it to go back to the often seen no. of 154.8.

Still planning to start weight training. Will start out small, then build up. I want to see what changes I can make in this old body! Those of you that are exercising are inspiring me to do it!

I made chicken salad for lunch again! Made some more chicken broth to freeze too. It will be nice to have on the chilly days that will be back.

Weather has been beautiful lately...warm and sunny here. Makes me wish it would stick around!

Ohh yay at getting to drive your toy again. Hopefully the boys will get her finished and you can just enjoy a warm day in your lovely car. Its getting hot here as well - have had to put the aircon on. Not that I am complaining (yet).

Well, another 60's dress eluded me. I can't believe they bidded that high! Wow! Glad I wasn't here, or I might have gotten auction fever! I guess it is partially the season....costume shopping like I am. I am now looking into a classic leather (faux?) mini skirt and maybe a long turtleneck with a wide belt look for now. Not sure. Ughhhh!!! May have to kidnap Diane and Glam to whip me a dress up! LOL

Was at 155 this morning. Craziness. I am eating lowcarb...may have to note the exact amt.s and all for a bit, but nothing different than before.

Been taking the thyroid meds since the end of Aug. Started on a lower dose and went up slowly. I'm thinking it may need to go up again. I've been, bleh, tired, etc. again lately. Will be glad to see my blood results next month. Will talk to the doc about this when I see him then. Will keep notes on the symptoms and keep pluggin' along until then I guess.

So much happening tonight. Marcellus Shale guy came by to talk about putting a line through our land. DH and myself agreed not to let them go through the woods we have. Yes, we are tree huggers (somewhat). So, he is going to check out other neighbors and see where they can run it since they have to avoid our woods now. This will probably be ongoing for a bit.

Most of you know my affection for the Boss's music....He's coming back to town! Next month! Same small venue! So....I'm hoping I can work some tickets again!

Relative/friend is starting LC. She had her first day of this WOE today. I'm excited for her! Hoping she sticks it out to see the good results we know will happen!

If your still very tired, etc your meds probably do need to go up...IS your skin real dry? That's my biggest indicator.

Skin is about the same as before. Some dry itchy patches, so I'm starting to think that this needs upped. May call him to see if he can up it some since I need a refill soon. He seemed like he thought it might need that at the last appt. I don't think it would hurt to try it.

Just wanted to sleep in today. Have to get up even earlier tomorrow. Have meetings that start early tomorrow. Will keep thinking Saturday.

Haven't heard from the gas guy again...so, sit on it and wait to see what they want to do.

Did some dishwasher shopping today. Found one that will work, but if I wait till Mon. to order, I can save some money. Friends and Family sale at Sears then. Waiting! Can save around 50$ if I do Going to order a new range hood too. Mine isn't working right....frightens me actually! ...and doesn't match anyways now, so getting a new one! Yay!!!

Stopped to eat at Eat N Park. DH had a gluten free bun for his Phil. Cheese Stk sand. Nice they offer that! I had the salad bar. Not too much to pick from, but made due since he went for the gf sandwich.



Can't wait till Tues. to get my boss tickets....hoping I get them that is! So excited! Nice close intimate venue! That is why he said he is coming back. He liked being close and personal with the aud.

Weight is back to 154.8 again. That number really likes me! I should play it in the lottery or something!

Still looking for a 60s costume. Worrying with the crap weather lately that we won't make the show anyhow...too much rain coming again fromt he sounds of it! Hoping it clears up for the show. If not this year, will def do it next!
