Yeah, forgot how much. I will feel it tomorrow! Up and down, up and down the ladder.

Frenchie: With a name like Hillbilly, I would think so!

I wish I could come exercise with you Laura! That would be fun! I'd do it in barefeet if I could. I'm always in my barefeet when I can! Dad always called me the barefooted contessa

Go Amber! Show off those arms! You'll feel so much better getting back to your workouts!

Work it girls!!!

Been considering checking out the local gym. Maybe get a trainer? Would probably help me get fit faster. What do you all think? I'm such a slacker when it comes to going places like that though.

Morning Laura! Yep, today will be mostly about the room. It is impacting the whole house. Got stuff I had in there all over the place. I need to get it done so I can concentrate on other things. I secretly want to get to the decorating part of it too. I love doing that! Working with a lot of what I already have, so will be challenging but fun! Got most of the trim taped off. Going to let DH check the sanding before I start painting. That way, he won't have much to say if it isn't right. Letting him nail the strips up too since if I did it, it would be wrong!

Raining here today, so won't be tempted by sunshine outside.

Got to fit in my exercise too!

Have a great Sunday ladies!!!

I am so envious. I would LOVE to repaint my kitchen and bathroom. I hate the colors but Doc says I can't do stuff like that yet. Maybe if I am lucky we will move someplace different where I like the bathroom and kitchen better LOL

Random warning: Feeling very random tonight! May change subject at a seconds notice!

Didn't get too far yesterday. DH insisted nails needed pounded in further. So, I had to redo the spackle on the holes. Too tired to sand today after work.

I'm beat! But got in my exercise. Cut it short, but still did it. I was afraid that if I didn't do it, I'd wimp out of tomorrow's and so on, and so on...

More rain coming. I'm starting to worry that it will be a cold wet summer Thunderstorms in forecast too

Voted for Hines again! Anyone watching DWTS?

Trying to find a wedding present for my gf. Want to get her a sexy black nightie. Possibly a babydoll style. Trying to figure out size without asking her. Her daughter found her bra size: 44C Any ideas what size would work best? Or is there a way to convert this into sizes?

I'm dubbing this the summer of weddings. Have several that we are going to,and even more that we won't be able to attend. The summer of love

Garden is tilled. Soon will start planting. Too wet yet

Well, going to try to get to bed. Told you I was tired!

I would think that the 44c should give you a good clue as 44" is her chest size. IF you are shopping just take a measuring tape with you. measure across the top of the nightie and make sure it is at least 23 inches where it would rest under the breasts from side to side (23 because when doubled to 46 this gives her two inches of ease in the garment). If she has a figure where her stomach and hips are much larger then her top them make sure you buy a nightie that flares out with a full skirt.

That might be why Ang

Hey, gotta show the love for the Hines!!! LOL Love you too Amber!

Never got to go to the concerts when I was younger for various reasons, so I've been making up for it in my "elder" years! I kind of have a "bucket list" of performers that I want to see if they tour. U2 is on that list; got my tickets already!!! I also have others that I just want to go see over and over! BRUCE!!! So who would be on your bucket list for concerts?

Legs hurting tonight for some reason. Didn't do the normal exercise, but walked a mile with slight hills during an exercise program today. Will count that, and make sure I do it the rest of the week.

Got the wedding this weekend. Going to be dangerous...Mennonite bridal family, so the food will be Then, DS's GF invited us to their place for dinner Sunday. Another May just do an off plan weekend It has been a while. I just fear the damage that will occur.

Another rainy day here. It is to be nice tomorrow, and of course, I work The pool is slowly getting full even with the leak; the one advantage of all of the rain! Need to set up that appt. for the leak detector co. and get it taken care of now that it is May.

I've been going through more clothes here. Found some summerish clothes that I now have to deal with. Had some things put aside in case I could use them. Never had the faith in myself to go this low ever again. I still need to shop! You'd think I would be hauling cart loads of things out of the stores, but I can't do it! I'm not kidding. Something stops me. Now that the weather is warming, I don't have enough to wear. I can't keep wearing the same tops, and my cords are too winterish now! I am usually a shopoholic! This is so wrong!!! Guess I will have to have my daughter go with me to the outlets and help me do it. I said I need shopping therapy!!! I need someone to be there to say just buy the ****ing thing! ...and this and this... I think I have a mental block that is keeping me from being able to do it because I still think I will wake up and be heavy again. When I steal your wife Amber, I will make her go shopping with me!

A favorite:

You know, KCG, I think it takes the brain awhile to catch up with the body; your believing that you are really as small as you are and that this can be a permanent situation could take some time. What about picking up an item here or there instead of one huge shopping trip? Maybe you can bulk up your wardrobe slowly.

Kitty, i don't have many clothes and i don't enjoy shopping for them either. i think Christine is right about it being an issue of the mind...maybe try looking at some pictures of the new slimmer you rather than relying on your "memory" of your body image? what style summer clothes are you in the mood for? for work or play? basic pieces or more frivolous "extras"?

KC- Stevie Nicks another good one, love her voice and Heart, I always thought they were amazing female performers!

Shopping- Dude I would have your credit card on fire, LOL I know what you mean, but I am sort of just the opposite, I am bagging up thousands of dollars worth of clothes and have no regrets about getting rid of them. I am buying piles of new clothes that probably wont fit me in a few months but I don't care, LOL Although still like you I go straight to the largest sizes because I think I cant fit in smaller clothes, what really freaks me out is when I hang my outfit for the next day on a hook in my bedroom and I look at it and think no way am I fitting in that!! One thing I did learn though buying clothes that fit or are just a hair too tight is good motivation and it always makes people really notice the weight loss!!! So go out there and buy some cool sexy things for summer, you are so skinny flaunt it!!!! I want to hear a good report about shopping!

Amber

That's probably a big part of it Christine.

I often have problems making decisions because I may regret my choices. I heard once that many that procrastinate are not lazy as so many think. They often put things off because they fear making mistakes, not liking the final product, etc. That is me. I think this is part of the problem too. I have picked up a couple of things. I guess I will slowly build the wardrobe. If I wear the same thing over and over for a while...so be it! I am just so used to having a big wardrobe (in more ways than one I just realized!). It did take me years to gather I guess. I'll survive. Amber, maybe I need you to go shopping with! I thought I'd be like you if I got to my goal! Funny how things go. Jan, good idea. I have to get my mind set to reality. I used to be the opposite and denied how heavy I was getting, now, I can't get used to the new me. My mind has been thinking that I'm somewhere in between. Just want some relaxed clothes that I can wear to work for now. Summer will be another story. Around the house, I just usually wear comfy work clothes since I get into a lot of messy situations. Got to find capris though. Those are usually my go to's for this time of year. Had tons of them, now they are being bagged up.

Hoping you girls aren't getting pissed that I'm complaining about finding clothes now that I'm near goal. I'd probably would have been like "smack that girl in the head; she should be happy to be skinny!" if I read this a year ago!

I need a tan. I'm not a tanning bed girl. I'm a get the tan while doing something else. I have had a couple of years avoiding tanning my legs since I had the veins taken care of, and they recommend being careful with it since the dark marks/patches can become permanent. I was hoping to be out and in the sun by now, but we haven't really had any! The sun was out today, but I was working Rare day of sunshine lately. Rain in the forecast for the next 10 days! Ughh!!! I may need to try the tanning beds.

Not so sure about this wedding I'm going to this weekend. The girl is supposedly a former mennonite I'm hearing now. There isn't to be any wedding cake. That may help me out! DH is worried about the GF thing. We have so many weddings coming up and few have many GF items. He's skipping his company dinner tomorrow because of this too. It will be the typical stuffed pork chop/chicken, pot.s, gravy, noodles, ....and pie for dessert. Gluten, gluten.....Maybe I should make a bean cake!

DS's live in GF has asked about gluten free stuffing for the turkey dinner she is making for us on Sun. What a sweetheart!

So glad tomorrow is Friday. Long week since I was off 2 days last week.

I did get 20 min.s in on the elliptical and my weights in today. Doing well with that. One week of exercising every day so far

My choc. davinci's is back in!!! Going to have to send my order!!!

Monk!!!

Song today is one for all the victims of 9/11. With the recent news, that day is being relived by so many. This song was written the evening of Sept. 11th. It still hits me the same way it did when I first heard it.

I won't forget today...

is it because we share so much of our lives, or because we come together here for a common purpose that it feels like we're all "old friends"?

i agree with others...go shopping! And...feel free to share what you buy so i can just get "one of those" too, in each color
