Finally met Kitty, she is so cute and such a bone!!! It was so much fun!!!!

Lizzie, I am looking at your pictures off to the side and the picture you posted yesterday. You look amazing! Oh my gosh, how much have you lost? And Kitty, thanks for sharing a picture of you. You both are beautiful!!!!! Thanks for posting. Where is the beach that you met?

Tilly- I am Amber, the one in yellow, I lost 141 so far, we met in Hamburg, PA, Kitty was on the ride back to Pittsburgh and passing through, I am in Reading, Lizzie and I each had about a 40 minute drive, it was so nice to meet Kitty in person!

OK! Going to try this for the like 12th time! LOL
Tried to post yesterday and today, but everytime I try, something happens...a distraction, a computer malfunction, .......Lost all my other almost ready posts! So, now just trying to put something quickly together before it goes again! ahhhhh! Got back and in bed at 3AM Sat morning. It was all well worth it! Had a great time with my friends! All of them! As Amber posted, we got together Fri. Loved meeting these wonderful women in person! Time was short, but worth every min.! They are both such sweet lovely ladies! We all had a great time! (The food was good too! ) Amber really is a poster child (woman) for exercise! Wow!!! Lizzie looks amazing! I only wish we all lived closer together! Came home and weighed in at 149.2 on Sat. morning. Shocked in a good way! I was not quite on plan, so expected a bit higher than my lately normal of 151ish. A nice surprise indeed! Back to my usual today though. So, not too bad I guess for a vacation! Went to the Cake Boss's bakery (Carlo's Bakery). Yes, I had to sample the wares! Ate it yesterday since we headed straight for our meeting with Amber and Lizzie after we got our goodies. It was good, but as I said on Ang's journal ( I think there! LOL), the bean cake is better or equal! LOL Had bean cake today with strawberries....mmmmmmmm Perfection! I think my tastes have changed to liking LC foods more than HC foods! That's a good thing!Came home to a leak from an unknown new issue in the roof. Water had leaked around a light in the kitchen and filled the glass light cover halfway! Ughhh!!! Thankfully, I hadn't painted that room's ceiling yet! Now, DH has to figure out what is up with that. We were going to reshingle the roof soon...guess it should be sooner! Also came home to a price for the head repair....500. So, guess they will be repaired. Like I said, looking at a few other changes too. Want to change her up to a heavier axle and disc brakes. This would also allow me to go to a 5 bolt hub! New wheels!!! Just hoping to be able to drive her again before snow flies!Well...hitting the reply button before this too disappears! LOL Will post more tomorrow! |

Kitty, so glad you guys had a great time! We all wish we could have been there.
It's been a whirlwind lately. Found an apartment yesterday (free rent in exchange for managing 12 units) and have to move in by Saturday. Gave my room mate a months notice, he wasn't too happy, because he wasn't planning to move until his girlfriends divorce was final (anywhere from October thru February). He says he'll stay and pay full rent starting in September. I have to cover utilities until Sept. 1st, so I'm hoping he doesn't drive them up too much (keeps it too cold for my pocket book lol) Woohoo on the 149.2! Made the black bean cake this week for Charlie, was YUM!

149---- I am telling you you are one skinny mini!!!!!You look fabulous!!!! I know what you mean, I had a carb fest yesterday and honestly it didnt even taste that good, like I mean I still like sweets, but the other stuff, pasta, potatos they are so forbidden for so long I really dont even have a taste for them anymore. Good about the car, sucks about the leak, roofing is never good price wise, ughghg!!! Well it is plenty humid this weekend and week from the looks of it better enjoy the pool!!!! Glad you are back it was sad here without our Kitty reports!!!! |

I am so glad you girls had fun Kitty!!!! I love all the pics Amber took! You are indeed a skinny mini!! And 149 on vacation.... i need watever it is you are doing. You are doing a great job at maintaining and losing those last 10lbs!
Sorry to hear bout the roof....hopefully you allcan find a solution that won't break ya pockets! Glad you foound an apartment Izzy!!! Sounds nice. Have you ever managed apmts before?? |

Re: pictures... damm I have a big head!! LOL I'm afraid if I get skinnier I will look like a bobble head!!  Ok, be back. I am going to try some yoga this am before work... since I have such trouble with my back and neck most exercise is out for me...but Amber is such an inspiration I have decided to try yoga at least. Love you Kitty... so glad I got to meet you. Hooray about the 'stang... Boo about the roof!! Hang in there.. if I have to , you have to! Lizzie

Sounds like a good deal Izzy. Hoping it works out well! Ughh...packing though....That is a pain! mmmmmm bean cake  Amber: It was late, but still worth it! We would have had to stop anyway to eat somewhere. Glad we got to do that with you 2! Keep us posted on your Dukan attack! I'm sure you will lose a bunch again! You are so determined!Thanks CeeCee! Just tried to keep it as LC as possible. Had a LC drink (on menu!) at the Beach Bar....salads, omlettes....A few items HC, but they were few. Water and diet drinks also. The weight did come up after the past 2 days of eating a bit more HCish. Why? Not sure...why do we ever do it? If I hadn't had the Cake Boss cake to eat, I think I wouldn't have done it....But....it is over...and I did...so on with getting back on plan! You girls and your compliments are fueling me in doing that! I don't want to mess up what I've done! Pooti: I truly do love this WOE! No other plan can give me the results I have had and make it this easy to keep them! As you all know, we have it lucky! Lizzie: You've been through so much, and you are such a strong woman! I'm glad to count you among my friends here! Happy that you are motivated to get back at it! I think this can be "it" for you! I'm here if you ever need a talk or a kick in the fanny! At least we have a nephew in the business and he gives us a break when the guys help out with the work. Got DGS today. Looks like more rain is possible outside. Got a lot last night. Cooler, but very humid. 80s this week. Getting things ready here for DGS's Bday Party next weekend. He will be 3...where does time go? Will be back later! Have a great day! |
