Kitty- we all screw up, it is unrealistic to think we are in 100% adherence at all times! But I feel like you do and I always say when people stop posting they are eating and not caring! I always feel like I am going into the confessional to confess my chocolate sins, LOL Like if I am at a party and I am eating I think oh no I am going to have to come home and tell you guys what a total hog I was, but better to do it that one day and then get back on it, versus I was a hog today and now tomorrow I will eat and so on!

I know what you mean about being a statistic, the odds are against us keeping it off, that is why I am so determined with this exercise hoping that keeping that up is going to help me keep this off. You would think at some point my resting muscle would help to speed up my metabolism, honestly I feel so much better eating low carb, if I could just cure the sugar beast, if I cave it is soft pretzels or baked goods, not candy, not chips, but bread, pretzels or home baked goodies, LOL

Thanks Amber. It does help to know that someone understands.

I fear for those that used to post and are not around much or at all lately. It fightens me for them. Hoping you are all ok.....

LIZZIE!!!
!

What makes it worse is that DH stayed GF throughout the whole thing! He was surrounded by it, and did not cave! He always caves!!! I feel so ashamed:blush: , but I'm going to go on. OK, 3 hail bacons and I'm forgiven?

So, in other areas, plans are started for a trip to the East coast with some of my best friends! I have "always" wanted to visit Asbury Park. Never been there; hard to believe isn't it If it works out, will be planning on meeting up with my Eastern girls along the way! Then I can give real hugs!

Hi Kitty! Just get back to it-- no one is perfect, and a slip up here or there isn't going to make any difference in the long run. The important thing is you got right back on it!

Have a great low carb day!

Thanks girls! Your support means so much...more than you know!

Today:

2 eggs
Bunless Hamburger bowl w/ LC Ketchup and LC relish

Thought about what I was doing previously that worked. I haven't been using the CO daily, so I am mixing up some of my PB with it like I did before. Will slowly up the amt. I use a day. I will try to add it where I can or just plain eat it! LOL

Got DGS with me today through Sat. He will be staying overnight tomorrow night. Keeps me hopping! LOL

Bunless Hamburger bowl w/ LC Ketchup and LC relish
HWC with Davincis to quiet the I want Ice Cream scream!
(no hotdog after all) tuna instead with mayo
Pbutter and CO
rot. chicken
steak cooked in butter and a few onions
peanut butter with pork rinds for snack

Wow! That's a lot of food! LOL

Too much PButter and the pork rinds will push the salt.

The stick showed a color change today Hoping I'm in full ketosis by tomorrow!

Started laps in the pool. Boy I'm out of shape! LOL I could do so much better last year. It will improve though.

TGIF soon girls! How many of you have a 3 day weekend? Got DGS Sat., then my friend's wedding Sun. Mon.? Maybe go to see fireworks at the fair.

Yep 3 days off thank God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love swimming and can you believe moving my arms through the water actually is the one thing that hurts my scars, like the pressure on them I am so mad, I love to swim!!!

I am so ready for a fun weekend, normally I would be looking forward to smores, and burgers and beer and fresh corn, but I will say a LC Bloody Mary is going to happen at some point!!!!

Thanks girls! We think he is too

In the pool today, but no laps. Had DGS in with me and trying to get him reaquainted with it. He is slowly adjusting. Last year he was floating around by himself by the end of summer (with a vest on of course!). He still wants me to hold onto him so far.

Amber: never would have thought the water would irritate your arms like that.... It won't be forever...Hoping it gets better so you can enjoy the water...did you ask your doc about this? Enjoy that LC BloodyMary!

Today:

Bunless Hamburger bowl w/LC ketchup and LC relish
Tuna and mayo
Rot. Chicken
2 hotdogs and kraut
Peanut butter and pork rinds for snack

Got my CO in today too.

Still having that urge to eat carby stuff.... Fighting it...Hoping the scale will reward me and ketosis will make it go away.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Kitty yeah it is just the pressure against them, I am sure it will settle I still have some nerve issues too, its funny how I can lift weights but the water pushing the scars is what hurts, I will keep trying though! I am so sore, I thought today swimming might help me stretch out my muscles that are all tight, so I will do it for a bit today and see how I feel, pain is temporary!!!

He is super cute, Kitty! My son was about that age (and that spooked by the water) when we started swimming lessons for him. Now he's a level 5, doing the breast stroke and the butterfly and gosh he's a great swimmer now! He's only 7!

Have a great day!

Thanks! Proud grandma here!

He did better today. His cousin was with us, so I think he didn't want to appear to be a baby! LOL He was so thrilled that he barely needed to hold on. Maybe he will go alone next time! He did this last year, so he just has to get it into his head that he can do it.

The scale really bummed me out this morning! Got on, and it showed 143.3...got off and on several times (as many of you know is standard! LOL) Still showed 143.3...Started to get excited...thought...I'm going to wait to see if it sticks before claiming it....got back on an hour later, and it was at 151 again!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I knew it was too good to be true, but thought maybe a weird whoosh or something put me below my goal......Now I'm saddened.....At least I could have been back in the 40s! Ughhhh!!!!

Staying pretty well VLC...mostly meat/eggs...Will see. Not sure if I need to up cal.s or lower...up fat, or lower...it is getting frustrating!

Today:

Bunless hamburger w/ LC ketchup and LC relish
Tuna w/ mayo

Hoping you are all able to enjoy the weekend!

Hey Kitty I got a bunch of Fitness magazines there was an interview with Jillian, she said the #1 question she is asked is how to break a stall? She said quit working out for a week and increase you calories by 10% then it resets you for weight loss, I wanted to share that with you!!!!

Got to chatting with my "big" sis. She lost loads of weight, and was telling me that she started putting it back on when she hit menopause...sounds familiar... She said she found something that helped...She has been following Suzanne Somers and is now taking BHRT and it is helping. She was once practically starving herself to keep her loss, now she says she is eating like crazy and loving it. I think I'm going to check into this for myself. The weight thing is part of it, but the other issues are also driving me crazy! It's like someone through a switch and bam....deep into the whole menopause craphole! Ins. doesn't cover it, but it may be worth it! Anyone have experience with it? Going to get thyroid and all checked too. Had it all checked some time ago; can't hurt to do a whole check since I'm an oldie now! LOL
