TGIF! This week seemed to be very long, as well as today. I am actually looking forward to going to bed tonight (as lame as that sounds on a Friday night ). Despite having a lot of paperwork to do Saturday & Sunday.

Job Update: I had an interview this morning for a PT position, and I think it went really well, the woman I interviewed with said that she'd let me know either way by Monday. I Love the idea of a quick notification--Ive been waiting around to hear back from other companies so its nice when they make quick decision. Hopefully it helped that my mom used to work at this facility when I was younger and that the woman who interview me knew my mom as well *phew*

In the meantime I'll just keep applying to jobs though because it can't hurt

Daily update: I had a stomachache for a few hours today (Im blaming it on the cheese I bought from a gas station ) so my appetite wasn't that great. I also didn't get time for breakfast other than coffee, and I ate my lunch in the car from a gas station so not sure what the scale will say tomorrow; but I did just step on the scale in my nightie and it is the same weight as it was this morning which is surprising (I always weigh naked and before I eat anything, so I usually am up around 1lb+ before bed time) so I hope that'll be good news on the scale in the morning

Food was weird, hopefully tomorrow it will be better.

Not much going on today, except for finishing up my paperwork for my internship. So a pretty boring weekend I expect. I plan to spend it in my pajamas, watching movies, and doing paperwork. Its a little nice to have a non-crazy weekend after so many busy ones.

Also Im glad to see the weight is coming off with my modified meat & egging. I think my high consumption of veggies was actually stalling me so Im trying to limit them for the 10 days and so far its working. The weight is coming off nicely. 5 days down -4.8lbs, and 5 days to go. After my ME fasting I'll only be shy around ~5lbs of my weight loss goal for the month which is pretty exciting.

I am dogsitting at my parents house next weekend, so Im unsure if I'll be able to continue Meat & Egging--I also wanted to try and do a 2-day veggie juice fast but thats still in the idea process.

I think being at home these past 2 days has really put a kink in my appetite, I notice Im more prone to eating, just because, rather then when Im hungry. Dangerous situation! Ive been trying to keep it under control but have noticed some carb creep.

Despite my carb creep from yesterday though, I was down -1.6/lb this morning from yesterday. Love those whooshes Hopefully it wont slow my loss for tomorrow.

Finished up all my internship paperwork, no I just have to endure 2-1/2 days of internship review and I can kiss my internship goodbye!! So exciting!

I am also supposed to hear tomorrow whether or not I got the PT position I interviewed for on Friday. Should be a pretty decent day

I also made some wonderful Coconut Shrimp for dinner tonight. I have 2 more servings left, so for the next two days Im sure that will be my dinner.

yea this 5k was for fun too, it wasn't even timed. i timed myself tho and since it was my workout for the day i wanted it to count. so i tried my best, my HRM read like 500 burned after i was done so that was awesome!! i came it at 37 minutes. i impressed myself! it was the "color vibe" run.

Thats awesome! Its such a good feeling to finish and know that you tried as hard as you could!

I see your almost done with your egg meat fast! Hooray! When i was low carbing a few years ago i would do 3 days/week of egg and meat only, i was losing like 3 lbs every week doing that. it was tough but worth it in the end!

It is a good way of losing! I like to incorporate it every now and then to help speed up my losses. I havent strictly been doing Meat & Egg (Ive been having some nuts & other things) but the weight is still coming off nicely which is always a good thing

It really was an awesome way of losing!! When I first did atkins in 2008, in about 4 months i'd lost 45 lbs! I went from 235 - 190! Then i stopped and gradually gained it all back then i got pregnant with my 2nd child and gained even more. Last year i was able to lose about 30 lbs and then gain back 20. I tried and tried atkins again and again but it just wasn't like the first time around. Last year i just tracked cals and tried to stay around 1200/day. That worked but i couldn't sustain it but now i really feel i've found the "answer" haha.

I started Weight watchers in March and while it was working, i'd have some weeks where i wouldnt lose and other weeks i'd just lose like .4. Im 5'5 and over 200 lbs im sorry but the weight should be falling off! on April 15th i discovered the 5:2 diet. Basically 2 days per week you "fast" where you only eat 500 cals. So i do that mondays and thursdays and then the rest of the week i follow my weight watchers. I also cut way back on drinking. on the weeks i don't drink anything at all i lose between 3-4 lbs and the weeks i do (thats only one night that week) its around 1-2 lbs. Its been amazing!! plus i workout 3 times a week too, bootcamp workouts.

you should check it out!! i've lost 15.2 lbs as of today since starting 5:2 with my WW plan. I'm at 222.0 i still have a LONG way to go but im feeling better about myself than i have in a long time and i actually feel like im going to get to my goal, its just a matter of time

if low carbing is working for you, i'd just stick with that, but i always have to tell people about this plan im following since its rocking my world right now lol!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I have been dogsitting and my laptop is acting up, so I have been using my parents netbook which is sad. I'll probably have to transition to my Kindle when my parents get home. Bummer.

I also had to put one of our cats to sleep on Friday which was very very hard on me. I came home to see him mangled by a dog, and since he was an outside cat and tested positive for FIV it wasnt feasable to pay the $1200 vet bill

So because of that my eating yesterday was not the best, lets just say it included lots of wine. I havent gotten on the scale this morning but I know there will be damage. I will start my meat and egging fasting once again tomorrow just to minimize damage. However since March 17th I am down 23.4lbs so thats not that bad. My goal was 7 more lbs by the end of May. I bet I could get close if I really put my effort into it but we'll see what happens. 7lbs in 6 days? Id be happy with at least 3 but Im going to still try and shoot for 7. Maybe I'll have better luck with my weight this year than what I have had with my pets. Two cats died on me while my parents were out of town, one in December my beautiful baby girl Fluffy, and now my outside cat Big Grey. Not a fun Friday night.

I'll try and check back later with food.

i'm up 4 lbs from fridays weigh in... im fasting today and thursday to try and at least maintain for the week. Going on vacation next week. just hoping not to do too much damage while im gone. then its GAME face time!! gotta get under 200!

Im going to be fasting today as well. Trying to make up for some scale damage after the small hiatus I was on.

May Weight Loss: -11.4lbs (3.6lbs shy of my goal)
June Weight Loss Goal: 22-33lbs (I have about 8lbs of water weight to shed)

My June goal is really big but worth trying for. Probably going to be mostly meat and egging this month

25 Day Meat & Egg Fast starting 6/5 @ 12:00am & ending 6/30 @ 12:00am.

Rules:
-Keep VLC (~10g Net/Day)
-Only Meat/Eggs/Fat
-Drink at least 1 Egg White Protein Shake/Day
-Drink at least 1L of water per day
-Only 1 Diet Soda/per day (otherwise no artificial sweeteners)
-Only 2tbsp. HWC/day
-Only 1 Oz. of Cheese/Day
-No Alcohol

Goal 1: 8lbs (water weight gain)
Goal 2: 12lbs
Goal 3: 22lbs
Goal 4: 25-32lbs

Goal: -1-1.3lbs/Day

Lets do this
