Up around a half a pound today, but thats just life when losing weight. Im sure my body is still trying to normal out after my weekend of drinking fun. I was starving today and Im not sure why, but I ended up eating dinner super early (like 4:45) because I knew if I didnt I would have a binge situation on my hands---which is no good. I dont really know what the scale will look like tomorrow since my sodium was high today but a loss even if its little is always nice *broken record here*.

I also tried my coffee with a tbsp. of CO in it this morning and I have to say that I didn't mind it all so I'll probably continue. Im hoping that by adding some more fat my weight will come off a little more quickly--but we'll see

I'm always game for experimenting.

Heres my food for today:

Breakfast (6:45am)
-2 Crustless Spinach Quiche Muffins
-3 Cups Coffee W-1 Tbsp. CO & 1.5 Tbsp. HWC
-6 Oz. La Croix Berry Water
Snack (10:30am)
-12 Oz. Diet Cherry Coke
Lunch (12:15pm)
-1 Greek Salad W-Turkey Breast, Feta & Greek Dressing
-1.5 Celery Stalk
-1 Laughing Cow Cheese
-1 La Croix Berry Water
Snack (3:45pm)
-1 String Cheese
-3 Small Pickles
Dinner (5:00pm)
-1 Boneless Chicken Breast W-Mrs Dash & Olive Oil
-3 Asparagus Stalks
-1 Piece Ghiradelli Midnight Reverie
-6 Oz. La Croix Berry Water

& my vitamins and lots of water

Totals = 1,194kcals, 69g protein, 28g carbs, 8g fiber, 20g net carbs 91g fat, 2784mg sodium

Super tired this morning, but what's new...down about a pound from yesterday, so about half a pound loss from Monday.

I feel like I have a case of the 'Tortoise & The Hare' Syndrome

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday

Down -.8/lb this morning so that's really nice. Im still hoping for about 5lbs this week (by Monday 4/15) so I would need still need around -3.8lbs by Monday morning, 3.8lbs in 4 days sounds easy but my body has been so slow at losing this time around that I have been having to stay pretty diligent with how much Im eating and working out. Either way I have to be happy with the scale going lower.

I wasnt able to go to the gym yesterday, so tonight I'm planning on a 90 minute cardio session tonight & tomorrow morning to make up for my missed hour yesterday. For some strange reason I enjoy working out Friday mornings, who knew..

I think if I start my weekend with a workout on Friday it keeps me accountable for things I put in my mouth all weekend, and since I dont go to the gym on Saturday it makes me feel better knowing I got a little something extra in

Will check back with my food later

Had a little whoosh last night! -1.8/lb 5lb this morning . So only about 2lbs away from my Monday goal. So at least my gym session paid off last night

I should probably update my info soon

Going to visit the family and the boyfriend this weekend, and tonight Im going out to see some of my girls for a few drinks (going to stick to club soda & vodka). Tomorrow I really wanted to go to the zoo (because they have farm babies) but I dont think that the weather will allow us.

I also have an 'adult' birthday party to go to on Saturday, so this weekend should be a pretty full one. Going to stay on plan eating wise and Im making room for a little bit of alcohol (Friday: 12 oz. Club Soda/Vodka) (Saturday: 2-4 Bud Select 55). I was going to go the gym this morning but think I'm going to take a rest (Im giving some blood plasma today) and just do another 90 minute session on Sunday instead.

Always gotta stay flexible I guess

Will check back later!

Had a good weekend, but am nervous about stepping on the scale tomorrow morning. I'm heading back to WI in about 45 minutes and am going to keep my food really clean for the day (tomorrow I start an egg fast for 3 days). I plan on going to the gym for 90 minutes tonight as well. So I guess I'll just have to hope for the best for tomorrow morning.

Also I went to an 'adult' birthday party last night and it was a lot of fun, I actually didnt drink any alcohol but I did eat a lot of LC foods and a few tiny not LC foods (4 mini Swedish Fish, 2 Sour Patch Kids, & 3 tortilla chips w-sloppy joe meat), and lots of Diet Coke. I ended up with a stomach ache though late last night (I blame it on the vast amount of food I ate rather than my little cheats) so today I'm taking it easy and sticking to mostly eggs and a few other things. Tomorrow-Wednesday will be like 95% eggs.

I'll check back later with my food and workout numbers

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Ps: I've also been craving some coconut shrimp so I think next week I'm going to make this (I just bought some unsweetened coconut flakes so Im excited to try them out in something other than my yogurt)

I was up about +.4/lb this morning since Friday, which was alright but it only brought my weekly loss to -2.6 lbs which is decent but much slower than Im used to. But a loss is a loss. I'm spotting this week so I could be retaining some water as well--plus my appetite is through the roof.

I devoured my dinner tonight and could hardly wait while I nuked my veggies to dive in--I also ate right when I got home which is odd for me (around 5:30pm) because Im used to eating later around 6 or 7. Im trying to just listen to my body and give it what it needs but I was really close to cracking today--and I know I get like this (when Im super hungry) all rational reasoning goes out the window! But I saved myself from binging with a Rotisserie Chicken and some Broccoli W-Cheese. So much more satisfying than giving in to stupid junk food cravings.

Not much else going on so here's my food:

Breakfast (6:45am)
-1 Piece of Crustless Spinach Quiche
-3 Cups of Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-2 Fiber Gummies
Snack (10:30am)
-1-100 Calorie Pack of Sea Salt Almonds
Lunch (12:15pm)
-1 Salad W-Turkey Breast & Ranch Dressing
-1.5 Celery Stalks
-1 String Cheese
-1 La Croix Coconut Water
Dinner (5:30pm)
-6.5 Oz. Rotisserie Chicken
-1/2 Cup of Broccoli W-Cheese Sauce
-3 Small Squares of Green & Blacks Organic 86% Chocolate
-2 Tbsp. Coconut Butter
-24 Oz. Diet Coke
Snack (10:00pm)
-4 Fiber Gummies
-1 La Croix Coconut Water

Totals = 1,390kcals, 86g protein, 53g carbs, 30g fiber, 23g net carbs, 99g fat, 2937mg sodium.

Wow, 2.6 pound loss in a week is great imo! Congrats on that! It seems like lately I'm lucky if I'm down a pound a week for some reason, but I guess I'm getting closer to goal so that's going to happen.

I'm also a big fan of those unsweetened coconut flakes btw! I used to put them in my yogurt too when I was eating yogurt Now I've been kind of struggling to find a use for them, although I DID use them in a SF cheesecake once... and some of my fat bombs. They were yummy!

Quick post tonight, down -.8/lbs this morning which was surprising, but good! Food was alright today a little over my carbs but nothing I can do about it now. I had some dried cranberries on my salad (maybe like 2 tsp worth) just to mix things up and Id say it was worth the extra carbs

Went to the gym tonight for 60 mins

50 Mins @ 4.5-5mph Elliptical
10 Minute Cool-Down Recumbent Bike

Food for the day:

Breakfast (6:45am)
-3 Cups of Coffee W-2 Tbsp SF Creamer

-2 Fiber Gummies
-1 Tbsp. Coconut Butter
Snack (10:30am)

Down about -.2lb this morning, feeling pretty sore this morning and am surprised to see the the scale went down even if it was a little bit. I have kind of a weird day today, out of my schedule but thats because Im preparing to go to a conference for 2 days. I leave tonight, and Im hoping that if I bring a few LC snacks (Atkins Bars, 100 Calorie Pack of Almonds & Crystal Light Packets) that I should be able to survive for two days with minimal damage (breakfast & lunch both days are being provided by the conference) I'll just have to be extra careful about what I eat.

Didnt go to the gym this morning but Im planning on doing about 45-60 minutes of weights/toning this afternoon, since I won't be able to make it to the gym until Sunday.

I'll check back later with my food and updates

Day went a little different than planned today but that's how life goes I suppose. Eating was about the same just had more stress and chaos than I would have liked. Currently I am in a hotel 150 miles away from my apartment attending a conference for 2 days that was mandatory to go to for my internship---blech (including unpaid mileage and unpaid hotel room). Id like to say a change of scenery is nice but its just more sad, cold, April Wisconsin weather. Hopefully it will go by quickly. I won't be able to weigh in until Saturday morning or go to the gym until Sunday morning so I have to keep my eating pretty good while I'm here just to ensure no major damage on the scale. I'd like at least 3lbs this week so I am about 2 away from my goal of that. Hopefully things will work in my favor, unlike everything that happened today

awh well, here's my food:

Breakfast (9:15am)
-3 Cups Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-2 Pieces Crustless Spinach Quiche
-2 Fiber Gummies
-Vitamins
Lunch (2:00pm)
-1 Egg White & PB2 Protein Shake (1 Scoop Vanilla Egg White PP + 2 Tbsp. PB2 +2 Tbsp. Greek Gods Yogurt + 1.5 Cups U/S Coconut Milk)
Snack (4:30pm)
-1-100 Calorie Pack of Sea Salt Almonds
-3 Small Pieces of 86% Dark Chocolate
-2 Tbsp. Coconut Butter
-12 Oz. Club Soda
Dinner (5:45pm)
-4 Oz. Rotisserie Chicken
-1 Side Salad W-Walnuts & Blue Cheese Dressing
-1 La Croix Coconut Water
Snack (7:00pm)
-1 Piece of Orbit Gum
-8 Oz. Cherry Diet Pepsi

So after a fabulous day of touring a brewery and a winery with my best girlfriends yesterday and 2 days at a conference earlier this week. I am happy to say I am down -1lb since Wednesday and -2lbs since Monday. I am hoping for 3lbs this week, but I think hoping for another pound by tomorrow might be pushing it , however I am eating nothing but eggs today so maybe that will help a little bit. I ate a little off plan yesterday but (snack/lunch) but made sure my breakfast and dinner were still on plan.

Also, update on my professional life. I was contacted on Friday for another job interview this time for am Adjunct Professor/Lab Coordinator position at a college. My interview is May 3rd and I have to come up with a 30 minute presentation followed by a 2-1/2 long interview. I am nervous but hoping that it'll be a good experience to go through. I only have 4 weeks of my internship left so finding a job ASAP would be very nice indeed

Food wasnt that awesome yesterday, so I'll check back tonight with my gym stats and eating for the day. Happy Sunday everyone

Wow, congrats on the job interview and welcome home! I bet it's great to be back after that whole conference fiasco... it's not always easy to eat on plan when you're away, but it sounds like you did a great job

Thanks! It does feel nice to be back to normalcy after a few days not. I am a creature of habit so getting out of the flow of things makes me nervous. I tend to get pretty anxious about public speaking (even though Im good at masking it) so this should be a big challenge for me. However, I already booked my hotel for the day before so I can make sure I get enough rest before I go visit the private university.

Same weight this morning as yesterday so that makes a -2lb weight loss for last week. Not awful but I sure wish I was peeling it off quicker, but I do have to tell myself I am now exercising regularly which impacts my weight loss. I should really start taking measurements of myself to see if its making any difference. But a loss is a loss

My mini goal was to be 9lbs lighter from my weight today by next Monday (I have a doctor's appointment) but Im unsure if I'll make it or not. Maybe I'll consider meat and egg fasting from Tues-Thurs to see if I can get any extra off. I have a bridal shower on Saturday and I am hoping to go to the zoo on Sunday so at least I have some things this week to look forward to. The end of my internship is nearing and Im starting to get stressed out, so I need to keep my eye on the prize and steer clear of my stress triggers and releasers (including food )

Day was pretty easy today for a Monday, was feeling tired but thats the usual for a Monday. I'll probably just double up on my coffee tomorrow.

I'll check back later with my food for the day

Same weight today as yesterday which is fine by me. Not much going on today been taking it kind of easy this week because I am swamped with a lot of work for my internship.

On the plus side, I did try on two pairs of dress pants that I ordered online a few weeks ago (that I couldnt get on) and now I can get them all the way up, and they are only a little tight when zipped and buttoned, but I'm looking at it as a work in progress . Hopefully in a week or two they will zip and button with room to spare. My dress pants I wear now to work are getting much bigger on me which is a feeling I so missed when I was steadily gaining my weight back.

So much better to put pants on and have them be a little loose than put them on after a weekend and they're too tight! Eek

Im over my carbs again today but I didnt feel like cooking my dinner at all tonight and went with a protein shake. Tomorrow I am going to be back around 20g carbs. Checked my ketostix and they are super light so I need to jump back in to my induction zone.

Here's my food:

Breakfast (7:15am)
-2 Crustless Spinach Quiches
-3 Cups Coffee W-2 Tbsp. SF Creamer
-1 La Croix Coconut Water
Lunch (12:30pm)
-1 Salad W-Turkey Breast, Cucumbers & Ranch Dressing
-1.5 Celery Stalk W-1 Tbsp. Edamame Hummus
-1 Black Pepper String Cheese
-1 La Croix Coconut Water
Snack (4:45pm)
-1-100 Calorie Pack of Sea Salt Almonds
Dinner (5:30pm)
-1 PB2 Egg White Protein Shake
Snack (8:00pm)
-1 Tbsp. Coconut Butter
-1 Square Ghiradelli 86% Chocolate
-2 Fiber Gummies
-6 Oz. Diet Sierra Mist

Totals = 1203 kcals, 78g protein, 45g carbs, 20g fiber, 25g Net Carbs, 85g fat, 2323mg sodium.

Hurray! That's always an awesome feeling, watching your clothes get bigger as you shrink... the only problem is having to buy a whole new wardrobe to match your new body

Well luckily (and I guess not so luckily) my weight has ALWAYS fluctuated so I have clothes in my closet ranging from a size 6 to a size 14. But when I start losing weight again and start fitting into smaller sizes it is nice to pull out my thin jeans and my tops I couldn't squeeze my fat arms into for a long while. Can't wait for that to happen once again

Busy day at work today, had something to work on almost every minute of the day, but at least it let the day go by fast. I was down -.4/lb this morning which was nice. I was hoping for more but beggars can't be choosers. Not much else going on! Im marinating some chicken thighs in teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger in my fridge and am going to be making that along with some Cauli-Rice for dinner tomorrow so Im pretty excited to try a new recipe. Been pretty lazy with my food lately, but hey, it works. My appetite has been pretty ferocious lately, especially when I get home around 5:30, so I have just been giving in to it trying to feed it what it needs (mostly fat), listening to your body is much harder than it sounds but after I eat my dinner I feel more satiated and then I'm able to handle the rest of the night much more smoothly (before I would eat from the time I got home until the time I went to bed--geesh!)

But now I stop probably before 6-7 depending on when I make dinner, which I think is a good thing.

But no more rambling, here is my food for the day

Breakfast (7:15am)
-2 Crustless Spinach Mini Quiches
-3 Cups Coffee W-1/4 Cup U/S Almond Milk & 3 Tsp. Coconut Oil
Lunch (12:45pm)
-1 Salad W-Ham, Cheddar & Ranch Dressing
-1.5 Celery Stalks W-1 Tbsp. Edamame Hummus
-1 Black Pepper String Cheese
-1 La Croix Coconut Water
Snack (4:45pm)
-1-100 Calorie Pack of Sea Salt Almonds
Dinner (5:30pm)
-1 Goat Cheese & Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken Breast
-5 Roasted Asparagus Stalks
-24 Oz. Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper
Snack (6:30pm)
-1 Ghiradelli 86% Square Chocolate
-2 Tbsp. Coconut Butter
-4 Fiber Gummies
-1 Peach-Pear La Croix Water

+vitamins

Totals = 1564kcals, 92g protein 51g carbs, 26g fiber, 25g net carbs, 123g fat, 2830mg sodium.

Also, I checked my ketostix, back in ketosis

Awww I was that way with jeans for a while! I had size 12's, size 10's, and size 8's all from the same year... it was insane, but from day to day my waist used to fluctuate enough to have to go up a whole other size from the way the gluten was puffing out my belly. It was horrible

That'll be great though, and that's got to be a great motivator for you knowing you have all those awesome clothes waiting

And look at you in that new picture! You look great! I had no idea you had such long hair either Mine used to be that long, but nowadays I never know what to do with it... sometimes I let it grow out again, but eventually I just cut it because I get tired of taking care of it

Haha thanks, Its my summer look. My hair is usually pretty wavy but when I straighten it I was forget how long it is haha. For me its easier to keep my hair long than short actually but I totally know where you're coming from!
